Chapter 33: Ravenclaw's Dream

Chapter 33: Ravenclaw's Dream
"We've arrived! This is the hidden room we discovered!"

After spending quite a bit of time on the spiral staircase

The staircase leading from the second to the third floor under the three of them finally turned, connecting to a staircase that was rarely connected in the past.

Not far away, Justin gently tapped on the wall and said excitedly.

After three crisp sounds, a painting was revealed on the wall, which was almost entirely devoid of firelight.

"It was originally a chance encounter... but after answering the question about the painting, we suddenly entered that room."

Although there are lanterns, —Lumos.

Justin's wand tip emitted a faint glow, followed by Hermione, whose wand tip glowed much brighter than Justin's.

Just then, Sheen came over, holding a wand that shone like a light bulb.

“Oh, Sheen…”

Justin murmured a gasp of amazement, and the three of them focused their attention on the painting.

The canvas was yellowed and cracked from its age, but what was painted on it was not a majestic wizard, but a snow-white owl wearing a velvet vest and small pince-nez glasses.

It was struggling to straighten its glasses with one paw while clutching an old roll of parchment with the other.

"What are you looking at! An owl is still an eagle!"

Hearing its shrill voice, Hermione was the first to laugh.

Next was Justin.

Even Sheen smiled.

"It's you again! What are you laughing at!"

The owl flapped its wings, and Sheen could almost hear the whistling wind.

"I...I remembered something happy."

Hermione blushed and offered a defense.

Sheen couldn't hold back any longer.

What are you laughing at now!

"I also remembered some happy things."

Sheen said in a low voice.

He never imagined that he could see some of the shadows of his past life's movies in an owl.

"You're all clearly laughing at me! You haven't stopped!"

The owl flapped its wings in a fit of rage, the parchment it was clutching under its feet shaking wildly.

"Feel sorry."

"Feel sorry."

"sorry."

Before it completely barred the three of them from entering, they suppressed their laughter and sincerely apologized.

"You wretched little wizard, if you want to go in, answer my questions!"

It unfolded the parchment at its feet, and Shinn and the others didn't know if it, as an owl, could understand it.
But after browsing for a while, it did ask a question:

“Hogwarts, the peaceful Hogwarts… Please tell me, why was Hogwarts located here?”

It rotated its head 180 degrees and then asked the question arrogantly.

Justin and Hermione were stunned.

"Why has its question changed? Wasn't it asking for Ms. Ravenclaw's real name before?"

Justin found it hard to believe.
Hermione, do you know?

Justin turned to Hermione for help.
The little witch with fluffy brown hair pondered for a while, then finally shook her head.

"Little wizard, silly little wizard!"

The owl seemed quite pleased with itself, chirping away.

"It's because of Ravenclaw's dream."

Just then, a discordant voice drifted over.
Sheen finished speaking softly,

The owl stopped flapping its wings and almost fell down.

"how do you know--"

It gasped in surprise, then gave a stiff, slight bow.
As it flapped its wings, a crack appeared in the wall, revealing a sky-blue door.
Sheen thoughtfully turned the eagle-shaped doorknob. Opening the door revealed a spacious area.

Some desks were scattered in the center of the room, covered in dust;
In one corner of the room, a huge bookshelf was leaning to one side, with most of the books scattered on the floor, their pages yellowed and brittle.

In another corner were some oddly shaped instruments: a complex crystal lens device and several glass cabinets with broken labels.

That's all there is.

"Sheen, Ravenclaw's dream, what does it mean?"

Before practicing the spell, Justin couldn't help but ask the question.

"Legend has it that the location of Hogwarts was decided by Madam Ravenclaw..."

From Ravenclaw by the lake, she dreamt of a warthog that led her to the edge of a cliff, and so a school was founded here…

Sheen recounted the events of a thousand years ago in a storytelling tone, gently recounting those events that had vanished with the wind.

Justin unconsciously moved a little closer to Sheehan, his face full of anticipation and longing.
Hermione also put down her wand, her eyes sparkling in the fluorescent light.

The three of them huddled together around Sheen's wand in the darkness.

"Hogwarts, wart hog, doesn't it look similar? Legend has it that this is where the name Hogwarts comes from."

"Wow--"

Justin instinctively gasped in surprise.
Hermione had already covered her mouth.

"What a wonderful story, like Peter, um, Peter something again..."

Justin frowned.

"It is the story of Beedle the Bard."

Hermione glared at Justin, who was spoiling the mood, and replied irritably.

"oh oh."

Justin scratched his head and gently lit the magic lantern.

After the wonderful story ends, the three young wizards will face wondrous magic.

The Levitation Charm, a simple yet practical spell.
It is one of the easiest spells for young wizards to master in the early stages.

However, even such simple magic remains a challenge for newly enrolled young wizards.

"Failed again..."

Justin's feather floated for three seconds before settling down, which clearly did not meet the minimum requirement of ten seconds.

Sheen automatically shut out the surrounding noise; he was always focused.

"Well……"

The feathers in front of Justin drifted down again. This time he held on for a second longer, but it still wasn't enough.

Through continuous and successful practice, I increased my proficiency by 30 points.
Sheen felt his magic power disappear completely; his arms became very sore, and his breathing became much more rapid.

Magic, well, let's call it magic for now, is a magical thing.

Unlike the blue bar in fantasy worlds, it will be directly reflected on the wizard.
The symptoms are fatigue and lack of energy.

It is not some elusive spiritual force or anything like that.

Rather, it is closely related to the wizard's body.

However, it is clearly capable of recovery, and it can even be felt.
After all, it's easy to distinguish between being full of energy and being lifeless.

During this time, Sheehan noticed the distressed Justin.

He was trying to keep the feather floating by making various hand gestures, but the feather would either suddenly bounce up or float shakily before falling down quickly.
