Chapter 411 The Changing Plan

—Tulip Street, Asla District—

Neat red bricks and layers of vines covering the walls—the luxurious mansion was very quiet. Although the Fox family enjoyed hosting parties, they preferred a more secluded and tranquil living space.

A silver-plated luxury steam locomotive drove through the street, then slowed down, turned, and slowly drove into the mansion.

Soon after, the blond man got out of the car, put his hands in his pockets, and walked slowly into the mansion inside the residence.

He sat at the table in the room, leaning back in his chair with one leg crossed over his shoulder. He had a maid bring him some delicious milk tea and idly stared at the ceiling, occasionally glancing at the grass outside the window.

"It's still as relaxing as ever here," he said, seemingly to himself. The only other person in the room was the maid who was making tea.

"Young Master Iris, your tea is ready." Two minutes later, the maid placed the perfectly brewed, hot milk tea on the table.

She wore a black and white maid outfit with a white ruffled headband that revealed glimpses of her beautiful blonde hair, making her look mature and beautiful.

"Thanks," the man replied casually, then picked up the bowl and slowly savored it.

"Where's Walnut? Hasn't school ended yet?"

As the second son of the Fox family and one of the important heirs, he came to the Asura District for two reasons: first, to see old friends, and second, to check on his sister, Walnut.

The current head of the Fox family has four children. The eldest son is 31 years old and has gradually taken over the main affairs and work of the family. The second son, Iris, is currently responsible for the development and promotion of the family business and is often away from home handling communication and negotiation. The eldest daughter got married five years ago, and the second daughter, Walnut, is currently studying in the Asla district.

"School classes will likely continue until 4:30 PM, so you'll have to wait a little longer," the maid replied respectfully.

Hearing this answer, Iris didn't pay much attention. He wasn't the kind of workaholic who was meticulous and wanted to make the most of every moment. Since he had to wait a while, he decided to take a walk and visit his aunt's house, since he used to play there often when he was a child.

After walking around the yard and the mansion, Iris returned to his room, intending to lie down on a chair and take a nap, as he had to attend a party with his friends that evening and estimated he wouldn't be able to go to bed until very late.

Not long after she closed her eyes, the mansion door opened again, and a butler in a black suit returned with several servants. She saw this scene through the window, and the maid came to Iris's side and reminded her in a soft voice.

"The housekeeper is back; it seems he just went out and finished something."

Upon hearing this, Iris opened her eyes, stood up, walked to the window and looked out, then straightened her purple suit jacket and quickly went outside.

Soon after, he stopped the other person in the living room, put his hands behind his back, and smiled.

"Let me guess what happened." His appearance forced the butler to stop in his tracks.

“Young Master Iris.” The other person bowed.

"Looking at the group of attendants behind you, four of them are bodyguards and two are clerks. I guess you must have been discussing something with someone who is not very respectable. Judging from the pace of your steps as you returned, this matter has had a significant impact on you, making you somewhat hurried."

The butler gave a helpless smile and then nodded.

“It seems nothing can be hidden from you, Master Iris.” He then recounted the events of the day’s negotiations. “…You mean, you were negotiating next month’s new product project with the head of the Asura district, and he threw you an even more outrageous idea, which was actually conceived by a rude underground pigman, right?” Iris’s words left the butler speechless. He didn’t know if his young master was mocking him or simply teasing him.

“That’s right, young master,” he replied, taking a deep breath.

After hearing this, the young master sat down on the sofa in the living room, leaned back, crossed one leg, and tapped the side of his knee with his fingers, seemingly considering the feasibility of the idea.

"I have to say, even I was surprised."

"My first thought was, what a crazy idea this is, but upon closer inspection, it does have a slight feasibility. It's not that the idea is particularly good, but rather that the current environment is just too dull."

“We at Fox haven’t created any ‘hot topics’ in a long time. We release new products day after day, but many of them are just different designs and tell a story that people get tired of looking at them at first glance.” He stroked his chin.

"However, the person who proposed this clearly doesn't know the situation at the top of the academy."

Upon hearing Iris's explanation, the butler's previous anticipation cooled down, and he realized that this was indeed an impossible idea.

But unfortunately, Iris came here today and happened to run into this butler in advance, so this unexpected creative idea came to fruition.

Under Iris's guidance, the Fox family began to take action, and a more detailed project plan was developed.

Over the next week, Hu Tao argued with her second brother several times, saying that he didn't want to ruin the original simple and dreamy idea and insisted on a secular and sensational theme. However, Iris easily ignored these protests and began to implement the new plan.

Seeing this, Hu Tao couldn't refuse her second brother's request and could only allow some stores to start testing the promotion of the new ice cream ahead of schedule.
