Chapter 19, Day 1 of Lectures
At the home of Hirutia.

The quiet young woman was sitting in front of the mirror combing her long hair, but unlike usual, there was a small basin filled with fine black powder next to her.

Soak a damp cotton cloth in water, apply the fine black powder to it, and then apply it to long hair. Comb it evenly, and the originally silvery-white hair gradually turns black.

"Does Tia really have to dye her hair black?" Taliel stood beside her, helping to spread out the girl's long hair and assisting in combing it.

“Yes, by using makeup techniques to draw your eyebrows, you can change your appearance and temperament,” said Hiltia, explaining the techniques she had learned from the thief’s diary.

"Sigh, is this to conceal her appearance?" Taliel thought to herself.

"Yes."

The girl smoothed out the fine black powder with a comb, and then used a damp cotton cloth to dye the snow-white silver hair black.

"Why is that?" Taliel asked, puzzled. Shouldn't being good-looking be something to be admired and proud of?

"Because that would save a lot of trouble," the girl replied softly, occasionally turning her head to look at the state of her hair on the side in the mirror.

"Perhaps my identity was very unusual in the past, but now I don't have much power to protect myself, so it's always a good thing to keep a low profile."

Hiltiya recently learned about the situation in Scorched Stone City.

There are at least three knights here with the 'Tier 3 - Castle' destiny. Their power is overwhelming for ordinary people, and they are also from the noble faction. If she were to be noticed by some important figure, the girl really wouldn't know how to escape or refuse.

After tidying herself up, the girl changed into a simple robe, which made her look much more ordinary.

However, looking at her light blue eyes, as blue as the sky, in the mirror, the girl felt that she needed to conceal them. She rummaged around and found the flat-screen glasses she had bought, finally covering up her lively eyes. In this way, she looked more like an ordinary girl with a bookish air.

"I can't recognize her at all now." Taliel looked the girl over several times, also surprised by the change in her appearance.

"Going to Hyde's school from now on should allow me to have a peaceful time." The girl looked in the mirror, nodded in satisfaction, and then stood up.

“Countless young people seek education every year, but very few actually become bachelors.”

They talked about the chubby boy until he passed by, at which point their voices quieted down. It wasn't that they were afraid of offending Yero, but rather that Yero was a formal student recognized by Maester Hyde, and they didn't want to offend Maester Hyde.

...Time passed again, and as the sun rose higher and the temperature began to rise, a conspicuous boy, accompanied by his companion, walked into the front yard of the mansion.

He looked to be under sixteen years old, with messy hair, narrow eyes, and a somewhat fierce look. He carried a sword sheath bound with a leather belt on his back, wore a coarse linen shirt, and had many old wounds on his exposed wrists, clearly from battles.

"We'll stop here, Mick."

"Work hard, no, study hard, haha." Several adventurer companions waved.

"I know, you guys." He tugged at his shirt collar, which felt a little uncomfortable, and then walked into the front yard with a wary look in his eyes.

Despite being an ordinary citizen, he seemed out of place with everyone else here.

Then, a magnificent carriage made of walnut wood and trimmed with gilded bronze stopped at the front door. The door opened, and first on the ground was a pair of delicate little leather shoes, followed by a girl with black stockings, a red short skirt, a fitted and elaborate top, snow-white cuffs, short golden hair, and bright red eyes.

"Is this Maester Hyde's home?" Her voice carried a hint of arrogance as she critically surveyed her surroundings.

"Well, this is good enough for a rural place."

After she finished speaking, she instructed her attendants to unload their luggage and carry it behind her.

The moment this young girl entered, she attracted the attention of all the students present. Whether it was the few people in the aristocratic circle or the students in the commoner circle, all eyes were on her. Some were envious, some were in awe, some were greedy, some were disgusted, and so on.

Undeniably, this blonde girl possessed exceptional beauty. Dressed in a gorgeous gown, she resembled a golden peacock blooming under the sun, and her simple movements ignited the passions of many young people present.

"Excuse me, is Bachelor Hyde at home?" she asked, unusually setting aside some of her arrogance.

"Please wait a moment."

The servants present were also nervous about receiving such a distinguished guest. He asked the girl to wait a moment and then hurriedly went to the backyard of the mansion to inquire.

Not long after, footsteps came from the corridor, and then Maester Hyde's large gray academic robes and white beard appeared in everyone's sight.

“I’m sorry to have kept this young lady waiting. You must be Iona.” His voice was kind and relaxed.

"Hello, I am Iona, Bachelor Hyde."

The blonde girl slightly lifted her skirt to curtsy, then her bright red eyes looked at Maester Hyde again, and noticed that there was a girl about her height standing next to the maester.

He had long black hair, wore simple robes and glasses, and carried thick books in both hands; he looked quite ordinary.

She was probably a student of the Hyde School, the blonde girl didn't pay much attention.

"Now that everyone is here, let them gather in the front hall," Hyde instructed his servant to inform the students in the front courtyard.

People came in one after another, and soon everyone gathered in the front hall to listen to the old man's words and teachings.

And so the first day of classes began.
