Chapter 274 Andrei: I Feel Like I'm Fighting the Terran War

Chapter 274 Andrei: I Feel Like I'm Fighting a War to Unify Terra
On the surface, Andrei pretended to be somewhat at a loss, but in reality he was on high alert.

He didn't know exactly how much of his secrets this woman had seen through, but he knew that she must know something she didn't know, which was why she said those things!

Katyusha felt Andrei's hand tighten, and she instinctively reached for the pistol at her waist.

She could sense that Andrei was under immense tension and anxiety, so she was prepared to act immediately if Andrei gave the order!

Jeanne glanced at the two people beside her and seemed to notice their tension as well.

But she didn't find it strange; it was within her expectations.

She believed that Andrei must have his own secrets, otherwise he could not have truly become the savior.

It is said that the times create heroes, and heroes create the times, but she does not believe that an ordinary person can be molded into a savior by the times!
Jeanne said calmly:
"I say this because I have glimpsed a corner of the future by chance."

"In the distant future, which I call the end, I see the world heading in two completely different directions."

"One possible outcome is that an unknown evil god and the prince of hell descend upon the world together, and the entire world is destroyed in the endless waves of chaos, eventually turning into nothingness."

"But another possible outcome is that we successfully repelled the invasion of the evil god, launched a counterattack against Hell, and sealed away the immortal Prince of Hell. At the end, we achieved final victory!"

"The reason why these two futures are so different is because of a variable that has appeared between them!"

After saying this, Jeanne stared intently at Andrei, her eyes filled with a strange emotion, as if a flame were burning within them.

Andrei paused for a moment, then pointed to himself and said:

"You mean to say that the variable between the two futures lies with me?"

Jeanne nodded and said:

"That's right, the variable I see is you!"

"I couldn't find you in one of the futures. I don't know if you didn't exist in that future at all, or if you died somewhere."

"In another future, your role is that of the Grand Marshal and First Ruler of the Cambrian Empire, the Commander-in-Chief of the Human Alliance, and in this capacity, you lead all of humanity in a counterattack against Hell, leading to final victory."

As soon as he finished speaking, Andrei and Katyusha couldn't help but gasp.

Katyusha looked at Andrei with disbelief and asked in astonishment:

"By the goddess of winter, Andreosha, what have you done? My God!"

Andrei was also completely bewildered, not because he was bewildered by his own future achievements, but for other reasons.

Achievements are just that—achievements. With the help of a group of Fourth Calamities, if Andrei's life ends at the rank of lieutenant general or general, then all I can say is that he has truly achieved something in his life.

Forget about becoming the Grand Marshal of the Empire; given the players' efforts, it's already incredibly lucky that Andrei didn't end up sitting on the golden toilet.

What truly baffled him was the phrase "counterattack on hell."

"...Wait, did I hear that right? What the hell is this 'counterattack on Hell'? Are you referring to Hell in the literal sense?"

Seeing Jeanne nod, Andrei felt like he almost slapped himself.

All he wanted to know was what kind of bizarre world he had transmigrated into.
Honestly, this problem has been bothering me for a long time.

From the moment he crossed over and rushed out of the anti-aircraft bunker, when he saw the cyborgs, multi-legged mechs, and battlefield mages, he felt completely stunned.

Now, with all these things like evil gods and hell, he feels even more confused.

Good heavens, is this still a world war? Whose world war has turned into this mess?
Add to that the four peddlers who constantly remind him of their presence, giving Andrei a strong sense of déjà vu, and he now seriously suspects that he might have transmigrated into a World War I version of Warhammer.

Caw! It's a tonic!
Hey big golden guy, save me! Pull me out of this cesspool! I don't want to do the butterfly stroke in this cesspool!
"...Well, I never expected my future to be so exciting."

After taking a few deep breaths, Andrei managed to calm himself down, and a slightly distorted smile appeared on his face.

Since he was already there, he figured he might as well make the best of it. Given that he couldn't find a way to escape, it seemed he had no choice but to keep fighting in this wretched world.

However, he never expected that the biggest crisis he thought he would face was the Black Hawk Empire, which had been launching attacks all along.

He had even planned out when he would become a marshal, and then lead the player army and the Cambrian Empire's million-strong army back to fight their way to Berlin, the capital of the Black Hawk Empire, and hang that damned emperor on a lamppost!
However, from the current perspective, the Black Hawk Empire seems to be just a small problem at hand. The world war at hand may very well have a darker mastermind behind it.

Suddenly remembering something, André asked Jeanne:

"Miss Jeanne, could you tell me what the Black Hawk Empire is like at the end of what you mentioned?"

After recalling for a moment, Jeanne said somewhat uncertainly:
"I can't say for sure, because I've only seen the tip of the iceberg of the future, and the content revealed is extremely limited."

"However, I see that the Black Hawk Emperor seems to have chosen to side with a red evil god and formed a ghoul army. But the Black Hawk Empire seems to have also split up, but I don't know what the situation is like in the split Black Hawk Empire."

A red evil god?
The one who thinks the eldest brother sits on a golden throne and the second brother sits on a bronze throne is the second brother.

Andrei pondered to himself, feeling as if he could make some connections.

If the Black Hawk Empire has secretly begun to develop a Khorne faith, or if Khorne is driving it, then their launching of wars and their brutality seem to have a reasonable explanation.

But he always felt that the situation in the Black Hawk Empire was more than that; the necromancers everywhere and the rest of the mess always made him uneasy.

Oh, by the way, the Black Hawk Empire seems to have quite a few Abyss Mages.

Before this, he thought that the Abyss Mage was just a special variant of some kind of fire mage, or something similar to a fel sorcerer.

However, judging from the current situation, since hell really exists in this world, the connection between these abyss mages and hell is probably quite significant!

Andrei was thinking quietly, and Jeanne beside him remained silent as well.

She didn't know what Andrei was thinking, but she knew that since Andrei could become the savior at the end of time, he must have some extraordinary abilities.

He likely knows something that he doesn't, and that this information is very important!

Katyusha, watching this scene unfold, felt completely bewildered; her mind was overloaded and about to give out.

Although she had learned a lot as the daughter of Earl Kuragin, none of it seemed to be of any use in the current situation.

She strongly suspected that Andrei and this woman named Jeanne both knew something she didn't, but neither of them said it.

But she was really annoyed by the way the two of them seemed to be on the same wavelength, and she felt like she had inexplicably become an outsider!

"Okay, I get the general idea. All I can say is that the Black Hawk Empire is a very complex entity, and we must be wary of that."

Andrei finally sighed deeply and put aside the questions he couldn't understand for the time being.

As soon as he finished speaking, a bitter smile appeared on his face.

Don't laugh at someone who's only half as good. When he said the Black Hawk Empire had a complex composition, he felt the Cambrian Empire's composition was also quite complex.

At least he didn't believe that the four goddesses of the Cambrian Empire really had nothing to do with the four peddlers; the match was just too perfect!
But he was also somewhat puzzled. Logically speaking, given the extreme practices and beliefs of the four peddlers, the Cambrian Empire should have been in a state of chaos by now.

Look at what the Chaos Space Marines and other Chaos Legions look like, and then look at the Cambrian Empire, which is relatively peaceful and tranquil in front of us.

Andrei always felt that this didn't look like someone who had become a believer in the Four Peddlers.

Needless to say, even the human empire that believed in the emperor was far more extreme than the Cambrian Empire!

But then again, the Emperor and the Four Peddlers are of the same rank, both being warp gods, so it doesn't seem so strange that the Empire is a little obsessed, right?

"By the way, I heard you had some conflict with the Wuxiao Empire before?"

"Miss Jeanne, could you tell me what's going on here? I think you must have seen something strange, right?"

Suddenly, Andrei remembered some rumors he had heard before.

Joan of Arc saw the revelation after arriving at the Iris colony in Africa, and then decided to come here.

This guy, who is suspected to be Tzeentch's chosen one, had previously taken a trip around the Nightless Empire, but it seems that a considerable conflict occurred.

So he really wanted to know why Tzeentch's chosen one had run into a wall over there.
"Because I saw a glimpse of the future of the Nightless Empire and warned them, but they refused to believe my warnings; they only thought I was a deceitful witch!"

Jeanne shrugged, a wry smile on her face.

"Queen Victoria of the Nightless Empire lived on a huge throne and turned herself into a political machine with countless threads running in parallel, and could even manipulate a large number of demons, but all of this came at a price."

"Queen Victoria made a deal with an evil god called the Lord of the Furnaces. She thought she could control the demons and created countless demon engines, but these demon engines were just loans to her."

"In the end, these demons came after her, and unable to repay their debts, she attempted to rebel against the unknown demons, which led to the opening of the gates of hell..."

Holy crap! What kind of outrageous move is this now?

Andrei had no idea that the Nightless Empire had already begun to perfect such a high-tech thing as the Demon Engine!

Good, good, good! As expected of Dai Ying from a parallel world, this is a true capitalist!

False capitalists: Exploiting the working class, making them work 18 to 20 hours a day!
The real capitalists: enslaving the pitiful demons who have been tricked and deceived, making them work 24 hours a day without stopping!
As expected, all those demons are nothing compared to capitalists; capitalists are the real demons!
But at this point, Andrei had already guessed who was behind the Nightless Empire. He liked to make deals with people, liked to play with the Demon Engine, and also had a nickname: Lord of Ten Thousand Furnaces!

It's you, junior Wa!

No, it's Vastorva the Half-Immortal! I never expected this guy to have gotten his hands on things like this!

"Damn it, is there not a single normal country in this world?"

Taking a deep breath, Andrei suddenly felt an urge to curse.

Seriously, he felt like he was about to explode with anger at these abstract guys!

Good heavens, how did the world end up like this during a world war?

They either play with a demon engine, believe in Khorne, play with necromancers, or frantically pray to a bunch of guys who seem to be the four Chaos Gods. There also seems to be a similar timeline to Dankho next door.

Andrei had seen it all; these guys weren't fighting a world war at all.
They clearly disagreed and were preparing to drag all of humanity into a game of coexistence between heaven and earth, and different countries even had different ways of doing so!
This is hardly a world war.

Andrei now feels like he's fighting a replica of the Terra unification war!

He truly understood the helplessness and pain the emperor had felt back then. He wondered how these guys, being human, could be so abstract.
Just as Andrei was about to kill someone, Katyusha suddenly asked curiously:
"Miss Jeanne, if that's the case, then why did you come all the way from Africa? Could it be that your Iris Empire is no longer reliable?"

Jeanne nodded emphatically, a look of worry on her face.

"That's right. I didn't see our Iris Empire at the end, but when I arrived at the African colony, I saw that General Pétain had gone completely mad."

"The colonies were short of manpower, so he believed that the soldiers of the Iris Empire had to be able to do the work of ten men. Therefore, he launched a special project called the Blessed Son."

Andrei felt that the name sounded vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite place it at the moment.

He asked tentatively:

"So what exactly is the content of this project? You're not planning to create a god for us to pray to, are you?"

In Andrei's memory, the Iris Empire didn't seem to have a mainstream religion. Their beliefs were quite casual, and most people worshipped money and other things.

So if these guys were to get a god to pray to, that would be interesting. Could they possibly bring over one or two gods from the Cambrian Empire?

Jeanne shrugged, a sad smile on her face.

"If that's the case, then that would be great. I could introduce them to the Fate Weaver who inspired me, but instead they chose to have the mage summon demons from the Seven Hells and then fuse those demons with the Iris Soldiers!"

"After being fused, these soldiers possess both human thinking abilities and the life force and magic of demons, and can even infuse the power of hell into their weapons."

"They are annihilating the Iris Empire. If they win in this way, what will become of the Iris Empire? Will we become puppets of demons?"

The blessed son? Isn't that an enchanted warrior?!
Good heavens, what kind of Word Bearer is this?
Andrei stated that he ultimately underestimated the abstract behavior of the Iris Empire.

However, he couldn't help but glance at Jeanne, feeling that this saintly lady was a bit too optimistic.

Honestly, the fate weaver behind you isn't a good person either, so don't be too superstitious about him!
In most cases, Tzeentch is actually quite reliable and not in a hurry to collect debts, but Bluebird loves to let people fail him at crucial moments.

So, to be honest, Andrei thinks that the Iris Empire's plan to build enchanted warriors might not actually be as bad as the Big Blue Bird, whose level of folly is simply unimaginable!
Ugh, I'm tired. Let this damn world just end!
After leading Jeanne's soldiers to the encampment, Andrei pointed to the distant camp and houses and said:
"Alright, Miss Jeanne, this is where your army will be stationed from now on."

“This place originally belonged to an infantry regiment of the Cambrian Empire. Unfortunately, they were all wiped out in the previous war. But the facilities here are all ready-made, so I believe your soldiers should not be too uncomfortable here.”

Although Andrei was well aware that the Iris Empire was always wealthy and powerful, and their soldiers were treated much better than the gray livestock of the Cambrian Empire.

But in any case, this camp was once the camp of a Guards infantry regiment.

Even if the treatment was poor, surely the Cambrian Empire's guards wouldn't be this bad?
After Andrei finished speaking, Jeanne bowed slightly and said:
"Thank you for your kindness, but you don't need to arrange such a luxurious place for us. A small area will suffice."

"Because my soldiers don't need rest in the conventional sense, their situation is somewhat special."

Damn! What's going on now?
Upon hearing this, Andrei's heart clenched instinctively.

No, that's not right, there's a problem!
This Thousand Sons Legion is definitely not normal!
"...Miss Jeanne, could you please explain in more detail?"

As he spoke, Andrei glanced at the armored infantrymen standing behind him.

He had sensed something was off before; these armored infantrymen were far too quiet, lacking the free-spirited energy of the Iris Empire.

Moreover, the movements of these armored infantrymen were far too uniform. All of this, combined with Jeanne's words, instantly gave Andrei a chilling feeling.

"That's right, my soldiers are actually just ghosts in power armor, empty shells. I call them Red Letter Warriors."

"Many Iris soldiers fell on the battlefield while fighting alongside me, but they were unwilling to die like that and hoped to continue fighting to drive out these evil invaders!"

"So, the Fate Weaver taught me a special spell: by inscribing red runes inside the power armor and placing ashes inside, I can use their souls to continue manipulating these power armors like puppets."

Andrei felt dizzy and lightheaded; he really wanted to go back to Earth now.

Goodness, so your Thousand Sons Army really is the real deal!
They even have high-end items like the Red Letter Warrior!
"...It's alright. Petrograd is short of soldiers, not garrisons, so you can have this garrison without any problem."

"If you encounter any problems, contact me. If there are any combat operations, I will inform you."

After saying this, Andrei grabbed Katyusha and left without waiting.

Having a close conversation with Tzeentch's chosen one, who himself didn't even understand the situation, put Andrei under immense pressure.

He finally understands it now.

This isn't Joan of Arc; this is clearly Ahriman, the master of this world!

Oh no, he had a feeling!

Next, this saintess will most likely end up like Professor A, being betrayed by the big blue bird without even realizing it!
Failing at crucial moments is a glorious tradition of the Bluebirds faction.

After returning to his home, Andrei felt a chill run through his body, as if the air around him had frozen.

He had to admit that he was indeed somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information.

The situation in this world is far worse than I imagined, and the enemy before me is far more complex than I thought.

He had thought he was going to fight a world war, but he now realized that he was going to fight a Warhammer war that was essentially a World War I and World War II version of the war!
It's even possible that this world could be even more of a cesspool than Warhammer, because its composition is far too complex.

"Andreosha, what's wrong? You seem to have suffered some kind of blow?"

As soon as Yelena entered, she saw Andrei looking dejected, with Katyusha sitting next to him, her expression equally unpleasant.

Yelena quickly came over and encouraged Andrei, saying:
"Andryosha, don't worry. Perhaps the enemy we face is indeed very strong, but our warriors are just as formidable!"

"If we all work together, we'll definitely be able to drive the invaders out. And with how capable you are, I absolutely do not believe you will lose to the Black Hawk Empire!"

Immediately afterwards, Yelena glanced around.

After confirming that there were no outsiders present, she hesitated for a moment before saying:
"If all else fails, and things get really bad, we can always escape to the United States of the Stars. I don't believe Black Hawk can bring the war all the way here, all the way to the United States of the Stars, which is so far away overseas!"

If only running away could solve the problem!
But the current situation is that a bunch of mainstream countries in the world want to drag all of humanity into living in harmony with the universe, and they themselves are completely unaware of this.

Even after fleeing to the United States of the Stars, Andrei didn't think he could escape unscathed. The beacon of democracy couldn't truly protect humanity from the invasion of the warp gods like the Star Torch.

Moreover, with so many countries playing such fancy games now, how can the United States of Stars be spared?

Recalling the rumors he had heard before, Andrei had already labeled the United States of the Stars as belonging to Slaanesh in his heart.

These guys are definitely up to something!
He's certain!
Because when every country has problems, the one that seems to have no problems must have deeper internal issues.

"It's alright, don't worry. I just feel that this war is getting a bit out of control."

"But don't worry, I will definitely win this war! I will! I will definitely survive with you all!"

Andrei suddenly stood up, took Katyusha's and Yelena's hands respectively, and said:

"We have no way out. Since everyone wants us dead, let's see who dies first!"

"I want to see whether their monsters and demons are more powerful or my soldiers are more formidable! These iron-willed warriors will not be defeated so easily!"

At that moment, Andrei's fighting spirit was rekindled.

Since this world is both hell and the subspace, and a whole bunch of abstract things don't want to leave any way for humanity to survive, then let's fight!
Whether they are evil gods or traitors, just kill them all!
He refused to believe it; could it be that his players were weaker than these people?
You have to understand, if you list out the characteristics that players can keep resurrecting and can also damage anything with a health bar, then this is practically a clone of Cursed Legion!
"Just kidding, with the Cursed Legion at his disposal, he doesn't believe he can't kill these monsters!"

Katyusha and Yelena were taken aback by Andrei's imposing manner; it was the first time they had ever seen Andrei so full of fighting spirit.

Although they had already admired Andrei, the ever-victorious general, for many years, as he achieved victory after victory and embarked on various military adventures.

But they were certain that it was only at this point that Andrei truly became serious!
I have to say, men are really handsome when they get serious!

They feel even more handsome when the man is seriously committed to protecting them.

Just then, General Constantine suddenly pushed open the door with a bang and strode in.

Immediately afterward, he looked up and saw Andrei holding a girl in each hand, his eyes seemingly gleaming with fire, and both girls unconsciously snuggling close to him.

hiss--!
Good lad, you've finally figured it out! You're just like your father!

"Um, Father, please listen to me..."

Andrei noticed the awkwardness of the situation and was about to say something when General Constantine immediately smiled and waved his hand, saying:

"It's alright, don't worry about me. You young people can just pretend I don't exist!"

"I originally wanted to ask what you learned from that Iris Saintess, but it seems your current matters are more important..."

After saying this, General Constantine's old face broke into a wide smile, and he quietly closed the door.

Unfortunately, the good atmosphere from before is gone, making the current situation incredibly awkward.

Katyusha pushed Andrei away, then lightly kicked him in the shin and said:
"You, Andreosha, I've figured it out now, you haven't changed a bit at all!"

"I'm not talking to you anymore. I'm going to find my Titan army. Those engineers are planning to make some modifications to the Titans, and I'm going to hear their opinions."

Yelena hurriedly ran out as well, and then said to Andrei:

"Alright, Andreosha, you go ahead with your work. I'm going to write a letter to the Church of the Goddess!"

"I'll ask them to send us more aid, and I'll do my best to persuade the church to invest in you!"

Andrei was all alone in the room, but he didn't seem to care. He opened the system interface and started checking the status of the other players.

Seeing the commotion on the players' side, Andrei couldn't help but smile slightly, because while he was leading his troops back, some of the players he had scattered outside were not idle at all.

Right now, these players are busy waging guerrilla warfare against the Black Hawk Army!

Because of the previous urban warfare battles that were so brutal they were unimaginable, the Black Hawk team has now learned its lesson.

These guys figured it out. Although they didn't understand the exact principle, the Cambrian Empire always seemed to like leaving a large number of troops in cities, and they also had an extremely strong will to resist.

They preferred to leave these elite troops in the city just to buy themselves time rather than withdraw them.

In this way, the Cambrian soldiers who remained were familiar with the terrain of these cities and had sufficient combat power, making it easy for them to turn an entire city into a giant meat grinder.

Therefore, they no longer have any intention of continuing to enter the city and fight the enemy hand-to-hand; it's too unprofitable to keep fighting like this.

As for whether their operations are reliable or not?

When Andrei saw the series of achievements the players had made, he knew that the Black Hawk soldiers' operations were definitely unreliable.

For example, in the important transportation hub of Mga, although the Black Hawk Army has occupied the area, they are unable to utilize it effectively.

Because around this train station, a large number of players have been constantly launching small-scale raids on the Black Hawk Army.

Although it was only morning, all the Black Hawk soldiers looked exhausted, and many could even fall asleep instantly as soon as they found a place to lean against.

Because they hadn't had a proper rest for at least two days. During those two days, they truly experienced what a nightmare was like, and what it meant for the forest to be able to talk, and to speak Cambrian!
There are enemies hiding in the dense forest nearby, constantly launching surprise attacks on them.

All sorts of random attacks kept coming one after another, and it just wouldn't stop!
Just last night, as they had just gone to sleep, enemy planes flew over here and dropped bombs on the ground.

This series of bombs not only killed many people, but also damaged the railway they had occupied!

Now things are really messed up. They were hoping to use the railway to transport supplies from the rear, but now they have to stick to the road.

They deliberately misled the Cambrian Empire to make resupply easier, leading them to entrust the construction of the railway to the Black Hawks, resulting in a railway built to the same specifications as the Black Hawk Empire's.

In the end, when they encountered Andrei's army, they simply couldn't make use of the railway.

After the airstrike ended, the soldiers spent some time cleaning up the bodies of their fallen comrades and tidying up the trash before preparing to rest again.

Despite the deaths of many, they still had to prepare for tomorrow's war.

But they had barely lain down when another mortar shell came firing from the woods!
I don't know how the enemy's mortars were fired, but they were extremely accurate and hit their camp in one go!
That's when things really got out of hand. That night, the camp erupted in chaos, and several Black Hawk soldiers went berserk, firing their submachine guns at everyone around them.

Not only that, the enemy was like a group of tireless machines, constantly launching surprise attacks on the Black Hawkmen.

As a result, none of the Black Hawk soldiers were able to sleep all night.

Faced with constant harassment and ambushes from players, they truly experienced what it meant to be on edge and see enemies everywhere.

To allow its soldiers to rest, the Black Hawk Army also organized a group of cavalry to patrol outside the camp.

These cavalrymen from Warsaw were eager to impress their new masters.

So even when assigned the arduous task of night patrols, they meticulously carried flashlights, waving them around the camp, afraid that the Black Hawk commander overhead wouldn't notice them.

Then... these Warsaw Nile cavalrymen were defeated.

They had no idea how the Cambrian soldiers managed to do it; they were all acting like madmen, launching attacks like moths to a flame.

The number of enemies launching the attack was not large, about a squad at a time, but they always managed to come up with all sorts of strange and unusual things.

These guys can always pull out a whole bunch of things, like mortars, small-caliber artillery, and machine guns.

Every now and then, soldiers would load white phosphorus incendiary bombs into mortars and then come and burn down their barracks!
These cavalrymen charged straight into the night with their lances raised, ready to show them what Warsunian lancers were all about!

But the enemy fought and retreated, leading them into the forest, where they were completely bewildered.

Even though it was nighttime and everyone was in complete darkness, how did the enemy manage to spot them and fire so accurately?
In the end, when they tried to retreat, Cambrian cavalry appeared out of nowhere, brandishing their spears, and engaged them in battle.

As a result, these Cambrian soldiers were all extremely skilled in martial arts, and their warhorses were also very fast. In the cavalry duel between spearmen, they were unable to defeat their opponents!
Ultimately, the Warsaw Nile cavalry were utterly defeated, and the Black Hawk Army nearly collapsed on the spot.

If their battle mages hadn't joined the battle and they hadn't managed to bring in other units, the battle would have been completely lost.

But will they be safe during the day?
"Hurry up, all of you, move faster and lay these sleepers over here!"

A Black Hawk soldier, holding a wooden stick he'd somehow acquired, with an arrogant expression on his face, was whipping a group of Cambrian people they'd driven over.

These Cambrian people captured villagers along the way, but unlike the group of madmen in the Imperial Guard, they did not choose to start a massacre.

However, they couldn't possibly treat these guys well, so they captured them and used them as laborers.

It has to be said that these guys were actually pretty good as laborers, because among the villagers who were arrested, there were actually railway workers.

With the help of these people, it is estimated that they will be able to repair the bombed railway in a short time, and then they can leave.

Little did they know that after the players scouted the area and discovered a large number of enslaved Cambrian villagers, they immediately prepared to launch a rescue mission.

This scene is all too familiar. Didn't the little days do the same thing to the land of China back then?
They watched as a group of villagers were beaten with sticks by the enemy, forced to carry heavy loads under the scorching sun, and when someone collapsed from heatstroke, they were simply thrown aside and abandoned like corpses.

This vicious scene made many players grit their teeth in hatred.

"Damn it, those invaders are absolutely wicked, I've truly experienced it now!"

"Damn it, no way! When I get back, I have to go online and confront those Japanese devils, and give them a good scolding for that damned Yasukuni latrine!"

Just then, a player suddenly popped up in the chat and excitedly told his teammates:
"Everyone, hurry, hurry, come to our respawn point!"

"For this operation, I've brought out our guild's armored train. Let's go straight for the enemy near this train station and pull off a big heist!"

Then, the player explained:

"We've already scouted this area. The enemy didn't bring any heavy artillery, so they can't possibly out-bomb our armored train."

"When the time comes, we'll use armored trains to bombard the railway, pick up the villagers here, and quickly haul them away in the train cars. Wouldn't that complete our mission?"

Yes, that's a great idea!

Previously, their biggest concern was not how to defeat the enemy, but how to safely transport the villagers back home.

There were only about ten players in total; the others were busy with other things elsewhere.

Furthermore, they didn't want others to share in the rewards of this mission; they wanted to keep all the credit for themselves. This led to a problem:
They can keep resurrecting and keep wearing down the enemy, but what about the villagers?
If they need to protect at least a thousand villagers, the enemy could quickly break through their defenses and might even massacre them to vent their anger!
But if they had armored trains, they could quickly evacuate these villagers.

As for whether the enemy has any way to intercept these villagers?

That depends on whether they have the capability to deal with a high-speed armored train!
