Chapter 317: One stone stirs up a thousand waves

"Although I have accumulated merit over several lifetimes, I am not so arrogant as to be like this. It seems that this scripture was not something that could be achieved by the self-deduction of the various methods in my mind. Rather, it is more like that the bronze jue and the various methods I have cultivated have been used as a guide to draw out this truly ancient and profound Dharma from the darkness!"

He recalled what He Luzi had said: the bronze jue was related to the mysterious "Hun Yuan Dao Zun," and this scripture was also named "Hun Yuan." The two corroborated each other, suggesting a connection.

After calming himself down, Chen Qing focused his mind and carefully studied the specific content of the following scriptures.

But upon closer inspection, his brows furrowed.

The scriptures are profound and mysterious, with every word a gem, yet they are shrouded in mystery, with many key points being obscure and difficult to understand. Even with Chen Qiu's current level of understanding, he found it somewhat challenging, and many subtle points were difficult to comprehend at once.

“It seems that my comprehension is still insufficient.” He shook his head slightly, then his thoughts changed. “If it were ‘Li Qing’ who is naturally comprehension, with his keen sense of the Dao, he might be able to understand the essence of it more quickly.”

Then he thought of the cool, refreshing energy that he had just drawn from the spiritual world through the "Awareness Dharma Image," which could enlighten wisdom and increase understanding. If he were to draw a few strands of it now, it would have a miraculous effect. But he immediately suppressed this thought.

"The source of that spiritual world is unfathomable and may be deeply involved with the Demon Buddha. It is acceptable to occasionally borrow its power to use supernatural abilities, but if it is used to comprehend such a fundamental profound art, the consequences would be unimaginable if it were to secretly corrupt and distort one's understanding of the path. Moreover, although 'Li Qing' is trapped in the Jade Capital of Dreams, his mind is still intact, so he is not unable to enter it again. When my consciousness descends again, I can use his comprehension to comprehend this method."

Suppressing his distracting thoughts, Chen Qing once again focused his mind on the scriptures, doing his utmost to memorize and understand them.

After studying it for a while, although he couldn't fully understand its mysteries, he did grasp the most essential key points of this scripture—

The primordial energy of all things!

The essence of this method lies in governing, refining, and utilizing all forms of "qi" in the world!
Whether it is spiritual energy, malevolent energy, blood energy, incense and prayer power, or even deeper levels of laws and Daoist principles, all can be regarded as a kind of "qi". All can be controlled and integrated by this method, and ultimately return to the original "primordial primordial qi"!
Its lofty ideals point directly to transcendence!

With Chen Qing's current level of understanding, the only parts he could barely comprehend were the explanations about the Nascent Soul Realm and a few fragments about the Dharma Aspect Realm.

According to the scriptures, the core of cultivation in the Nascent Soul Realm lies in "transforming into an infant" and "evolving light".

The so-called "transformation into an infant" is not simply the merging of the Yin spirit into the Golden Elixir. Rather, it is based on one's own fundamental Dao, drawing upon the primordial Qi as fuel, to nurture a true "Daoist Nascent Soul" within the Golden Elixir's Dao embryo. This infant is the manifestation of the cultivator's Dao path, perfectly integrated with oneself.

"According to what is said here, the key to the so-called Dao I Nascent Soul is not the Nascent Soul itself, but the 'I'. It is about seizing one's own essence and relying on one's own fundamental place to condense the superior aura to the greatest extent! What should be interpreted as this fundamental place?"

With doubts in his mind, Chen Qing's thoughts fell on the "Evolving Light" again.

This "Evolving Light" is the "Primordial Spirit Divine Light" that naturally arises after the Nascent Soul is achieved. This light is half real and half illusory. It is born from the combination of the Nascent Soul's thoughts, the spiritual light of heaven and earth, and its own Daoist charm. It is an extension and external manifestation of the Nascent Soul's power, and it is extremely mysterious.

"This Primordial Spirit Divine Light has never been seen in other cultivation methods before. Cultivation methods that mention the Nascent Soul realm always describe the external appearance of the Nascent Soul. But according to the Primordial Chaos True Scripture, the power of the Primordial Spirit Divine Light is actually even above supernatural powers!"

Aside from these two, this scripture also discusses the external landscape of the nascent soul, which is called the "Eight Landscapes of Spiritual Light".

According to this method, although the eight scenic lights themselves have various mysteries, they are not the goal. Rather, they are used to temper and strengthen the primordial spirit light by means of the external scenic lights!

The eight scenes mentioned in this sutra are not arbitrarily selected from the external world, but specifically refer to the spiritual light of the eight fundamental phenomena of heaven and earth: wind, thunder, water, fire, mountain, marsh, sky, and earth.

Each time a scene of spiritual light is refined and integrated into the primordial divine light, the divine light gains corresponding authority and its power increases greatly!

For example, refining the "Wind" landscape light allows the primordial spirit light to control the winds of the Nine Netherworlds, corrupting the spiritual essence of magical artifacts; refining the "Thunder" landscape light allows one to summon the Heavenly Thunder to vanquish evil and destroy falsehoods...

Upon seeing this, a glint flashed in Chen Qing's eyes, but then a thought struck him, and he became even more aware that something was amiss!

"The True Understanding of Life and Death I saw before, which cultivates the outer scenery of the Nascent Soul, is for comprehending the mysteries of heaven and earth, and ultimately reaching the peak of the Dharma Aspect. However, it does not mention transforming the outer scenery into light and refining the primordial spirit's divine light! But there is a step of condensing the eight scenes and then unifying them into one!" Thinking of this, he had all sorts of guesses.

"Did the times change, and later generations perfected the cultivation methods based on their predecessors, or... was this crucial step lost? No, it's also possible that it wasn't lost, but rather kept as a secret and not passed on to outsiders!"

Regardless of the method, Chen Qing currently has no answer. However, if this inner scripture is feasible, he would definitely prefer to practice it. After all, it is a profound technique that directly leads to transcendence. It not only saves him the time and energy to search for other methods in the future, but also aligns with his usual path of cultivation!

"Even as a reference, this method is of great significance. In addition, this Eight Scenery Spiritual Light Refinement Method seems to be tailor-made for the Nascent Soul Realm, but its essence lies in the subtle application and control of the spiritual energy of heaven and earth! How can such a method be used only for the Nascent Soul Realm?"

"Whether it's the initial stage of cultivation and foundation building or the return to the ultimate unity, the core is the application of Qi. If one can integrate the essence of Qi control in the 'Supreme Primordial Qi True Scripture,' one will be able to more easily comprehend the mysteries of the realm. Once one can deeply understand and apply it, to some extent, it can even compensate for the impact of the decline of spiritual Qi!"

At this thought, a sudden inspiration flashed in Chen Qing's mind.

"If we use this method as a foundation, combined with the almost inexhaustible pure spiritual energy within my spiritual gate, to teach my disciples, even if the spiritual energy outside is scarce, as long as their comprehension is sufficient, their cultivation speed and achievements will not be much worse than those of disciples from an era with abundant spiritual energy!"

He displayed extraordinary signs of enlightenment and has been revered as the reincarnation of the true Buddha by Kuchan Temple and even the Lotus Dharma Realm behind it!"
