Mystery: The Last Shepherd

Chapter 495 Take me aboard!

Chapter 495 Take me aboard!

"Boom."

Dust filled the air; the devastating attack had nearly split the room in two. The sounds of servants screaming and running seemed to echo from the depths of the corridor. The disastrous consequences of this attack were already evident: Luze's actions had been exposed!
A figure stepped through the broken door and into the room.

He was a very tall middle-aged man with two straight swords on his back. His light golden hair was neatly combed back, and his expression was unusually indifferent.

"Your Highness."

He calmly said to Sofia in Fusak, "Please come to me."

"brush!"

As he uttered those words, Lu Ze saw a silver light rapidly approaching him, its brilliance as dazzling as the morning sun.

"Ok?"

On the other side of Bayam, in the admiral's private residence, Emilius suddenly looked up at the empty void.

"what happened?"

His mistress, Cynthia, asked in confusion.

This woman has blonde hair and blue eyes, exuding feminine grace while retaining a touch of youthful energy.

"Something's not right at the Governor's Mansion. I need to go take a look."

General Emilius abruptly stood up, straightened his uniform, and his expression became very serious, only softening slightly when he looked at Cynthia. "You stay here, don't go out."

"boom!"

Before he could finish giving his instructions, another explosion was heard.

Turning to look out the window, in the direction of the Governor's Mansion, a crimson firework of flesh and blood was exploding in mid-air.

Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

On the square in front of the main hall of the Governor's Mansion.

"Klein's intelligence was wrong."

Several crisscrossing sword energies tore through the brick pavement of the square. Lu Ze, holding Roy King in one hand, thought to himself.

"despair."

The tall man landed on the opposite side, holding a straight sword in both hands. A complex dark green symbol appeared in each of his eyes, scanning Lu Ze's body as if he were observing something.

His spirituality was overflowing, and judging from his rank, he was undoubtedly a Sequence 4 Extraordinary!
An unexpected third sequence number 4!

Does he look like a Fusak, Sophia's guardian? Then he must be a demigod of the "Warrior" pathway, the "Demon Hunter".

Lu Ze quickly made a judgment in his mind.

To be honest, it's a bit troublesome.

Luze was confident he could handle two Sequence 4s. But if there was one more, he wouldn't be able to deal with him in his normal state, and that "Sea King" might return at any time.

The dark green symbol in the eyes of the demon hunter opposite him disappeared. He narrowed his eyes and applied light gray ointment to the two straight swords.

The next instant, his figure disappeared from the spot.

Lu Ze immediately drew his Spirit Flesh Blade and held it in front of him.

"boom!"

The straight sword struck his jet-black greatsword, producing a deafening sound. He saw the layer of ointment on the straight sword evaporating and shimmering, actually resisting the corrosive effect of the "Spirit and Flesh Blade" to some extent.

The demigod "Demon Hunter" glanced at the black greatsword in his hand, his eyes flickered slightly, and he quickly retreated before the erosion could consume all the ointment.

"The Aurora Conference?"

he asked in a low voice.

Damn it.

Lu Ze cursed inwardly, gave him a cold glance, and slowly retreated with Roy King in tow. The presence of three demigods on the island was beyond his expectations; leaving before they could surround them was the wisest choice.

"Wait for me, Blood Cultivator! Bring me onto your ship too!"

At that moment, Sofia Einhorn rushed out of the foyer and onto the square. As she ran, she shouted to Luzer.

Lu Ze ignored her and just stared into the eyes of the demigod opposite him.

Clearly, he wasn't going to grant Sophia's request. Although he didn't know what had happened to her, the demigod obviously wouldn't agree; taking her aboard would only increase his hostility and make his attacks more ferocious. "Your Highness."

The "demon hunter" stopped her while observing Luze, and did not take the initiative to attack again.

Sure enough, his priority was Sophia. As long as I didn't show any hostility, he wouldn't escalate the situation. Lu Ze thought to himself, and with a gust of wind, he pulled Roy King away.

But just then, he suddenly heard a lazy voice.

"Take her with you."

Medici spoke from inside his body.

He hadn't made his presence felt in a long time, but the moment he spoke, he gave Lu Ze a considerable amount of trouble.

"Are you joking?"

Lu Ze asked coldly.

"I'm not kidding, she's useful to me."

The evil spirit of the Red Angel readily offered its reason: "This is a direct descendant of the Einhorn family."

"Why should I listen to you?"

Lu Ze couldn't take it anymore. Medici, that idiot, seemed to have no idea what was going on. He couldn't delay any longer!

"Haven't you always wanted to know what's inside your head?"

Medici's voice held a hint of amusement. "If you can take her away, I'll tell you what I know."

"!"

Lu Ze paused.

“Swear to your Lord.”

He didn't hesitate for long before speaking in a deep voice.

"Okay, I swear."

Medici scoffed, “In the name of the Creator I believe in.”

Although His tone was flippant, a certain spiritual connection convinced Luzer that this guy was serious.

Lu Ze took a deep breath.

Below the plaza, Sofia Einhorn watched him float up, her beautiful eyes filled with disappointment. But to her surprise, the blood monk paused in mid-air, then suddenly turned and descended!
"Sorry to keep you waiting again."

Luze said to Roy King, and in the latter's helpless gaze, the dark shadow beneath him instantly spread upwards, covering his entire body and making him grow taller, turning him into a small giant who was at least two meters and two or three inches tall.

Black Knight, don your armor!
Under Sophia's gaze, a mixture of surprise and fear, the giant in deep black armor raised his right hand toward the sky.

"boom!"

A mass of flesh and blood shot out from his palm, soaring into the sky and exploding into a crimson firework in mid-air.

Meanwhile, at the port of Blue Mountains Island.

"Woo——"

With the ship's horn blaring, when a gleaming, metallic ironclad warship entered the harbor, the other vessels automatically gave way, allowing it to enter the dock first. This was both a sign of respect for the Royal Navy and a way to minimize the risk of trouble.

On the port's control panel, soldiers were waving flags and sending signals.

"The flag signal is correct; he's asking for our ship's designation!"

Anderson used the rituals of the Church of Knowledge to record the relevant information, and immediately instructed the sailors beside him, "Do as I told you, tell them we are from Oravi Island to provide assistance in defense!"

Looking at the coastal defense cannons on both sides of the harbor, a slight sweat beaded on his forehead, and he was on high alert.

Fortunately, the information provided by the Hanged Man was more reliable than that of Klein. After a series of flag signals, they successfully deceived the control center, entered the inner harbor, and successfully docked at the pier.

Almost simultaneously, Anderson saw flesh-and-blood fireworks rising in the direction of the Governor's Mansion in the distance.

"The captain has given the signal!"

He immediately shouted to his men, "Fire!"
