Mystery: The Last Shepherd

Chapter 414 Encountering the Red Light Again

Chapter 414 Encountering the Red Light Again
A terrifying tornado connected the sky and the sea, like a giant serpent devouring the heavens and the earth. Lu Ze was caught in it, the powerful storm easily tossing his body up and down, tossing him about wildly.

"Meow"

Luzer's abdominal flesh rapidly caved in, enveloping Luna and Rosell's black key within his body, preventing the frail kitten from being torn apart by the violent hurricane. The wind was so strong that he could barely hear the black cat's voice.

At the same time, he also summoned the illusory tides in his mind and poured them into his own spiritual body.

Soon, the airflow around Lu Ze's body became relatively calm, at least allowing him to stabilize his body in the apocalyptic storm.

The authority over the illusory ocean, the "Wind's Favorite"!
"boom!"

However, this action seemed to further anger the remaining divine power, and was seen as a provocation. Above the sky, thick bolts of lightning crashed down! The lightning contained violent energy, and the moment it struck the sea, it split into countless leaping electric snakes atop the mountain-like waves.

Although Lu Ze barely dodged the devastating blow, he was still caught in the storm and unable to escape.

Damn it
The lingering electric current in the wind sent a shiver down his spine, and Lu Ze cursed under his breath, feeling an overwhelming pressure. If he had to describe it, the threat to his life posed by the "Singer of God" was far less than that of this storm.

Moreover, the storm's power was rapidly increasing, and he wouldn't be able to hold out for much longer.

We must leave here!

Lu Ze thought to himself.

He struggled to control the surrounding airflow, dodging the successive bolts of lightning while simultaneously activating Mr. A's soul within him, causing him to also initiate the Grazing.

An ancient, illusory book appeared in my hand.

One of Mr. A's herding abilities is "recording"!
Now that things have come to this, he can only escape by documenting his travels!
"I came, I saw, I remembered."

"boom!"

An unprecedented, earth-shattering thunderbolt struck, shattering the illusory book and thwarting Lu Ze's attempt to save himself.

"grass!"

Lu Ze saw his paper doll being blasted into nothing but black ash, which was instantly blown away by the wind, and he cursed inwardly.

But just then, he saw something strange appear in the storm.

It was a soft ball of yarn that crept in from the bottom of the tornado and slowly extended towards Luze. Although the ball of yarn looked light and airy, the fierce wind couldn't move it at all, as if the two existed in different dimensions.

"Grab it, I'll pull you back."

The Queen's voice came from the ball of yarn.

Very good!
Lu Ze was overjoyed and tried to control the airflow to get closer to the ball of yarn, reaching out his hand towards it.

"Don't grab me!"

But just then, the Queen's voice rang out from behind.

"!"

Lu Ze was startled. When he looked again, he realized that it was not an extended ball of yarn at all, but the end of the tail of a huge dragon!

Have I been hypnotized again?
when!
He withdrew his arm in surprise, and the dragon's tail sprang up like a snake, suddenly chasing after him.

Once or twice, when will this ever end?
You want to die, huh?

Lu Ze's anger erupted instantly. His face turned fierce, and instead of retreating, he manipulated the surrounding air currents and charged towards the giant dragon!

"Huh?" The dragon, with Baros's face, looked surprised to see Luze advancing instead of retreating. But just then, Luze slammed into his chest like a cannonball.

"boom!"

Countless bluish-white flames erupted from his body, instantly igniting the dragon's form. The flames were incredibly intense; the storm not only failed to extinguish them but actually fueled their growth, completely engulfing the dragon!

"Roar--"

The dragon roared in agony, its sturdy scales unable to withstand the flames, scorched and twisted, revealing charred flesh beneath. It shook violently, trying to extinguish the flames, but only made them burn even brighter.

A figure broke free from the storm; it was Lu Ze. He adjusted his direction in mid-air, battling the storm as he struggled to approach the Queen.

But he wasted far too much time.

The storm is growing stronger and stronger, and his "Wind-Cherishing" level of power is no longer enough to resist it!

An unprecedentedly strong gust of air suddenly formed, lifting his body and blowing him away before he could react, causing him to plummet downwards at an extremely high speed.

"careful!"

Luze was still struggling to control his body when he suddenly heard the Queen's exclamation from afar. Startled, he looked down and realized he was rapidly approaching a shadowy, indistinct object.

—Those are the strange ruins that appeared nearby after they moved!
The Queen's warning came too late; Luze had no time to adjust and had already fallen into the ruins!

In that initial instant, Lu Ze felt everything around him slow down; the waves, the wind, the raindrops—everything moved sluggishly, completely lacking its previous momentum. Then, the colors of these things in his vision began to become incredibly intense, profound.

The black of the clouds, the deep blue of the sea, and the blazing white of the lightning broke through the boundaries, spreading out like a splashed oil painting.

And he was falling deeper into these intense colors.
Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.

When Luze regained consciousness, he found himself in a strange world.

A thin, ethereal, gray mist permeated the air, enveloping everything. Within the mist, countless indescribable, illusory, transparent things overlapped, their colors vivid and distinct.

Deep within the gray fog, high above, seven pure beams of light of different colors moved slowly, seemingly containing endless knowledge.

"This seems to be the place."

Lu Ze looked around and sensed a certain familiarity. "The Spirit Realm?"

This is the spirit world, a world that overlaps with reality, omnipresent yet chaotic and bizarre, difficult to describe. Fors's observations of the spirit world described it in detail, and the principle of "travel" is also through traversing the spirit world. As for those seven rays of light, they are undoubtedly the seven lights of the spirit world.

I've arrived in the spirit world!
Is that ruin an entrance to the spirit world?
Lu Ze looked behind him, but only saw a faint mist and strange spirit creatures within it; there seemed to be no passageway.

Is it still a one-way entrance?
"Meow?"

Luna, the black cat, peeked out from his arms. Protected by Luze's flesh and blood, it hadn't been harmed and was now curiously looking at the world, its eyes completely black.

It seems quite interested.

According to Klein, "diviners" need to draw power from here when they perform divinations.
Lu Ze stroked the cat's head, pondering how he should get back.

Do you need to travel?

Then he saw that among the seven beams of light in the distance, the red beam was rapidly approaching him.
