Mystery: The Last Shepherd

Chapter 389 Prince Grove

Chapter 389 Prince Grove

Prince Grove appeared in the palace for only a moment, and then, to everyone's astonishment, his figure flickered and disappeared outside.

"Your Majesty, what happened?"

Someone below couldn't help but ask.

"I don't know yet."

George III answered in a deep voice.

In fact, he genuinely didn't know what had happened. But what he did know was that the royal palace, a symbol of the royal family's status, had been attacked so blatantly; the attackers clearly didn't take the Augustus family seriously!

An invisible rage was boiling in George III's heart, and it intensified when he saw the amused smiles gradually appear on the faces of the representatives of the three major churches after their initial surprise.

"Grove, what are you waiting for!"

George III roared.

"His Majesty,"

Grove's voice came from above, "The attack is coming from the Pritz."

The ironclad warship I just developed?
The "Pritz" that I used to fight pirates at sea?
My soldiers have mutinied?
wrong!

King George III paused for a moment, then quickly dismissed the idea.

The soldiers on the warship had no reason to mutiny; there must have been some other reason.
"boom!"

Just then, the second round of shelling began.

Above the palace, Prince Grove floated in the air in a manner defying the laws of physics. He stared intently at the four incoming cannonballs with his stern eyes, made a quick assessment, and then raised his hand.

"brush!"

An invisible rule was generated above the palace, instantly slowing the two cannonballs flying towards it to an incredibly slow speed. He caught them firmly in his hand, crushed them into scrap metal, and tossed them down. As for the two cannonballs that were farther away from George III, they were not a high priority for him to intercept, and they successfully hit their targets.

"Your Majesty, please make a decision."

Prince Grove's voice echoed back to the ground.

His meaning was clear: if he went all out, he would inevitably damage the extremely expensive ironclad warship. But if he acted cautiously, the warship would likely have more opportunities to fire more shots.

"Grove, do your best!"

Without hesitation, King George III said, "Even if we have to destroy the Pritz, we must not leave it to the enemy!"

"As you command, Your Majesty!"

Grove replied, feeling a surge of confidence.

He paused for a moment, then flew rapidly toward the distant ironclad warship!

"Rapid-fire cannons ready, 6-pound cannons ready, machine gunners ready!"

On the USS Pritz, more soldiers had the opportunity to participate in the "battle for glory," their faces beaming with ecstasy as they wielded their weapons with incredible speed.

Lu Ze stood on the ship's railing, watching the figure grow larger and larger before his eyes at an astonishing speed.

As expected, the royal family would not sit idly by and wait for their doom; in the second round of bombardment, they deployed a Sequence 3 demigod.

So what? We'll still fight!

As Lu Ze pondered, the figure was already several hundred meters in front of the warship. He could clearly see the other's outdated attire and the two stiff mustaches on his square face. It was indeed a demigod from the Augustus family; that face said it all.

"Main guns, prepare to continue bombarding Sodrac Palace!"

Without hesitation, Lu Ze ordered, "Other units, aim at the targets in the sky and fire!"

"Bang! Bang!" These were the six rapid-fire guns on the Pritz. Although the shells they fired were not powerful enough and had a short range, they were extremely fast. Within a few seconds, three or four shells were fired.
"Boom! Boom!"

These are the 12 six-pounder guns on the Pritz. They are worse in damage and range, but there are enough of them, and the sheer number of them is quite impressive.

"tatter"

These are the 18-barreled machine guns on the USS Pritz. They are the warship's last line of defense, and bullets pour out like water, forming a dense net of fire in the sky above the warship in conjunction with various types of shells.

This terrible net has loomed over Prince Grove's head.

"Humph!"

The prince noticed the unusual behavior of the people on the warship and also spotted the suspicious Lu Ze. His gaze swept over Lu Ze's crazed expression and blood-red robe, and he immediately made a judgment: "The Shepherd, the Aurora Society?"

He raised one hand and created an invisible barrier in front of him.

"brush!"

All the shells and bullets fired at him immediately slowed down, rendering them completely ineffective. He also became extremely imposing at this moment, making it difficult for anyone facing him to even think of resisting!
This is the demigod's aura at Sequence 3 level, enough to make people submit.

"Fire!"

However, the soldiers only showed fear briefly before becoming brave and fearless again. Their spirits resonated with Luze's, their expressions were extremely excited, and their eyes shone with a rusty color.

Bathed in the glory of the god of war, their courage was unstoppable!
"Damn it!"

Seeing that the soldiers did not stop what they were doing, especially the main cannon aimed at the palace, which was still being loaded with shells, Grove was slightly angry. He realized that Luzer's ability could withstand his pressure.

"Artillery use is prohibited here!"

He then spoke directly, issuing a "ban" to the void.

The soldiers abruptly stopped what they were doing. They instinctively realized that some unseen rule had come into effect: if they continued to use the artillery, they would be severely punished!
"Ah"

Grove then gave a cold laugh.

Instead of pursuing the soldiers further, he turned his attention to Luze himself.

"Confinement!"

He then made a grasping motion with his left hand towards Lu Ze, instantly immobilizing the shepherd in place.

"Execution!"

"Prince Grove shouted again. While grabbing Luze with his left hand, he raised his right hand high and swung it down sharply!"

"Snapped!"

The invisible judgment, spanning nearly a hundred meters, struck Lu Ze directly, slapping his body into a pool of flesh that flowed like liquid onto the deck.

However, the mass of minced meat continued to move, completely dissolving and seeping into the ship, becoming one with it!
"What."

Prince Grove was incredulous to see that the once brand-new ship had suddenly developed a rusty color on its surface. However, this rusty color did not make the ship look old; instead, it gave him a feeling of extreme danger and violence!
The shadow of war has returned to this ironclad behemoth!
The entire giant ship has been transformed into [weapons]!
"For the highest glory!"

The soldiers, their bodies also tinged with rust, shouted wildly and fearlessly as they continued operating the ship's cannons.

"Snapped!"

Because they defied the ban, an invisible punishment suddenly arose, whipping them and leaving deep scars, but these scars were healed in a very short time!
One of the hunter's abilities is that damage can be shared among team members; however, Luze himself bore the wounds of these soldiers!

"boom!"

The annoying shelling roared once again!
