Mystery: The Last Shepherd
Chapter 302 Should we ask the Fool?
Chapter 302 Should we ask the Fool?
Reading Russell's description of the "Red Angels" in his diary, Luze naturally made the connection.
He remembered the mysterious evil spirit sealed within the ruins.
That evil spirit, who knows how long it has existed in the dark underground, is still terrifying, making Lu Ze instinctively feel the danger. Could it be that the reason it is so powerful is because it was born from the corpse of an angel?
After having this idea, he gradually found more arguments to support his point of view:
The underground ruins have a very obvious Quaternary style;
In his hallucination, he saw a flamboyant young man with bright red hair, and the prayers said that this person represented everything "red," which coincided with the title of "Red Angel."
The diary mentions that among the three missing people, besides the "Red Angel," there were also Sauron and Einhorn—the method provided by the evil spirit to break the seal was to collect the blood of Sauron, Einhorn, and direct members of the Medici family.
Most of them match!
Medici is the "Red Angel"!
He is an angel, and so are Sauron and Einhorn!
Lu Ze felt a chill run down his spine as he recalled the scene from that night when he talked to the other party—the red phantom's face split open on both sides, and mouths grew out of them, arguing and cursing the dominant Medici in different voices.
Did the spirits of the three angels merge after their deaths to ultimately form that evil spirit?
is it possible?
Both the Sauron and Einhorn families follow the Hunter pathway, and the "Red Angel's" hallucinations are also related to the Hunter. If their pathways are the same and they died close together, perhaps such a coincidence really can happen!
Lu Ze gripped the paper tightly, his eyes wide with shock.
That evil spirit was more dangerous than he had imagined!
But who was it that could kill all three angels at the same time? Which true God?
In a mystical sense, "angel" refers to a high-sequence powerhouse of Sequence 1. The only being capable of killing three Sequence 1s simultaneously is a Sequence 0, which is above the Sequence 1.
Luzer lowered his head and continued reading the second half of the diary. However, Rosell disappointed him. The diary entries were merely Rosell's complaints about Florent and his ambition to replace the Intis royal family; there was no further description of the "Red Angel."
"pity."
Lu Ze sighed inwardly, crumpled the diary into a ball, held it in his palm, and burned it clean with fire.
He desperately wanted to know more about "Red Angel" Medici, and the truth behind the deaths of the three Hunter Path Sequence 1 members. Unfortunately, Roselle didn't know, nor did he write it down.
May I ask Mr. Fool? The reward for his answer will be a diary entry.
Lu Ze thought to himself.
Today is Monday. He hosted Mr. A's gathering in the morning and will attend a Tarot meeting in the afternoon. He has two main purposes for attending this Tarot meeting: first, to communicate with the [Sun] and try to obtain the "Black Knight" potion recipe; second, to ask the [Hanged Man] whether the two special properties he gave him have been sold or given to the craftsman.
To put it bluntly, it's a test of the true value of the Tarot Club members.
Meanwhile, in the audience, Audrey secretly observed "Mr. A's" behavior during a break from her conversation with Hugh. She noticed that he took a parchment from a waiter, read it, and then displayed a strong emotional reaction.
Mr. Temperance seemed quite shocked by what he had seen.
Audrey wondered, but it was all just speculation, because Kafka Anderson casually destroyed the parchment, then stood up and publicly announced:
"That's it for today."
The gathering had been going on for a while, and most of the necessary transactions had been completed. He should get ready to attend the tarot session that afternoon.
"Okay, Mr. A."
The attendees all spoke to him, including Audrey, who was inwardly astonished but tried to maintain a calm facade. She left the house with Hugh, and even after boarding the carriage to return home, she was still unable to calm down.
"Miss Audrey, I'll be going now."
Hugh sat in the same carriage as her, protecting her safety until the carriage stopped in front of Earl Hall's villa.
"Okay, thank you for your protection today." Audrey finally came to her senses and said to her with an impeccable smile, "Remember to find Annie before you leave and collect your protection fee for this time."
"Ok."
Hugh couldn't help but smirk, knowing she was about to receive another sum of pounds. However, her smile quickly vanished, and she shook her head, saying, "Actually, this money should have gone to the Anderson siblings."
The brother and sister who passed Countess Hall's test should have been the ones to serve as guards and receive the pay. However, they recently moved from their original address and could no longer be contacted. In addition, the Countess has relaxed the restrictions, and Audrey can now go out with only one guard.
"Still can't find them?"
Audrey asked.
"We can't get in touch with them at all. The siblings didn't leave any clues for the landlord."
Hugh replied.
When this matter was brought up, he seemed somewhat hesitant, and began to speak with some doubt:
“Miss Audrey, to be honest, I find it a bit strange. Mr. Anderson had planned to have you treat his mental health issues, but he suddenly stood me up and left.”
"Yes, it is indeed a bit strange."
Audrey replied.
She didn't intend to tell Hugh that the person who had hosted the party was actually Kafka Anderson. However, she was also a little curious about what had happened to Anderson that day and why he hadn't shown up.
I'm sorry, I must keep Mr. Temperance's secret.
Audrey apologized to Hugh in her heart, watching her small figure disappear into the distance, and then, surrounded by her maids, turned and returned to her villa.
"Miss, you almost went overtime tonight."
Her personal maid, Anne, said from the side.
"Hmm, really? I didn't notice."
Audrey said cheerfully, reaching out her hand so that Audrey could take her arm.
"Miss, you must pay close attention to this."
Anne said helplessly, "After all, I can't always be by your side."
Audrey suddenly stopped.
"Miss?"
Always by my side.
Yup!
Mr. Anderson is indeed not missing, but where is his sister, Miss Cecilia?
That lady cares so much about her brother and has always been by his side, so why wasn't she there at today's gathering?
Around the same time, Anderson, codenamed "Temperance," joined the Tarot Club. He became even more sinister and crazed, and began declaring his intention to exact a brutal revenge against the true Creator.
Audrey felt as if she had discovered the sad truth behind this matter.
