Mystery: The Last Shepherd
Chapter 255 Found you
Chapter 255 Found you
Above the eternal gray fog.
Klein sat behind the long bronze table, his body shrouded in gray mist, exuding a lofty and profound aura.
He materialized paper and pen, and began writing divination statements on them, using the high-level mysticism of the gray mist to perform the divination. His divination concerned a child named "Will Onsetin," a suspected high-sequence powerhouse of the "Destiny" pathway, "The Mercury Serpent." This morning, he and Dr. Allen discovered Will's body in the cemetery.
After arriving at two contradictory conclusions—that "Will was not completely dead" and "the body found was indeed Will's"—he seemed somewhat confused.
"Was the divination interfered with? No, that doesn't seem right."
After a series of divinations and deductions, Klein felt that the other party might be in some kind of peculiar state, evading the pursuit of other "Mercury Serpents" in the same sequence.
"Indeed, one cannot completely disbelieve in divination, nor can one believe it entirely."
He said this with great feeling.
At this point, a thought suddenly struck him.
Divination results should not be taken as absolute truth.
Lu Ze had previously mentioned that he suspected there might be a coincidence involved in encountering psychological alchemy, and that it was arranged by 0-08. His response at the time was, "No," because he had already performed a divination on the gray fog.
Several days have passed since the divination was performed on the gray fog. Perhaps Lu Ze has suddenly been targeted recently?
That shouldn't be the case, right?
Klein thought to himself with self-doubt, but his spiritual instincts conjured a new sheet of paper, on which he wrote:
"Luze Rondor's current fate has been distorted."
Previously, when divining about Lu Ze, he was disturbed by the illusory sound of ocean waves. However, through experimentation, he discovered that as long as he did not use dream divination to uncover Lu Ze's inner secrets, but only used pendulum divination to predict his external circumstances, the disturbances he experienced were significantly reduced.
Klein whispered the divination words, raised the citrine pendulum to the paper, almost touching the words, and then entered a meditative state.
"call--"
The surrounding gray mist began to boil, seemingly fighting against some illusory entity. Klein felt a sharp pain in his brain, but it was bearable enough that he forced his eyes open, enduring the excruciating pain as if his head were about to explode, to see the result:
The citrine was spinning clockwise at a fast speed and with a considerable amplitude.
This indicates affirmation.
Luze's fate was twisted, and very violently!
Klein's eyes widened instantly. He thought for a few seconds, then quickly wrote down a new divination statement on the paper:
"Luze Rondor is currently in a dangerous situation."
The divination result was also positive, and the yellow crystal moved extremely far, indicating a very high level of danger!
Oops!
0-08 is interfering with him!
Klein's alarm bells were ringing wildly. He remembered Luzer saying he was going to see the Psychological Alchemy Society for treatment today. Was there something wrong with those people from the Psychological Alchemy Society, or had Ince Zangwill noticed him?

The heavy snow showed no sign of stopping; it just kept falling. Black fluff filled the world, adorning the cityscape of Backlund along with the gray fog. Although it was afternoon, the sky was unusually dark. The snow melted as soon as it hit the ground, leaving everything smudged.
The gas streetlights were turned on, but they were just orange-red blobs, huddled in the snow, offering little illumination.
"The weather is really bad."
Lu Ze thought to himself, a little worried, "In this weather, will that expert from the Psychological Alchemy Society arrive on time? It would be troublesome if he canceled his trip."
Looking out the car window at the dim sky, he drifted into a daze.
The day I left Tingen seemed to be just as dark. There were no gaslights in the public cemetery, only the moon. When I pushed open the coffin lid and saw how dim it was, I thought I had entered the underworld.
Subconsciously, he raised his hand, his fingers seemingly recalling the weight of the coffin lid pressing down and the roughness of its surface.
Ok?
Lu Ze was suddenly stunned.
But Cecilia dug me out, shouldn't she be the one who pushed open the coffin lid?
"Buzz!" Just as he was feeling confused by the confusion in his memory, a sharp buzzing sound suddenly pierced his ears. Caught off guard, he jerked violently before belatedly covering his ears.
It starts again!
Lu Ze thought bitterly.
He heard a magnificent sound, as if rising from the earth or descending from the sky. The sound seemed to come from the distant past, a prayer etched deep in the souls of our ancestors, a divine revelation from a great being to humankind.
"You should repent and experience suffering."
"If your right eye looks directly at the gods, you commit blasphemy, gouge out your right eye; if your right hand points at the gods, you commit blasphemy, cut off your right hand."
"It is better to lose one part of the body than to have the whole body thrown into hell."
The loud sound echoed, causing Lu Ze intense pain. He couldn't help but cover his head and arch his body.
"Shut up, shut up!"
He called out in a low voice.
"Wow—"
The illusory sound of ocean waves echoed in his mind. He actively invoked his cheat ability, attempting to neutralize the influence of the real creator. However, the mad voice continued to reverberate, as if automatically generated from the depths of his mind, resonating with his own flesh and blood.
Is this not the ramblings of the true Creator?
Yes, it's mine?!
Something is wrong!
He looked up abruptly and saw the silhouette of Ms. M pointing at the coachman ahead. It turned out that the carriage had veered off course from Queens and was now heading deeper into the East End.
"stop!"
Lu Ze shouted to the coachman.
But the other person was only focused on getting on the bus and didn't even turn his head. From the moment he got on the bus, he not only didn't speak, but he also barely moved.
"I said, stop!"
Despite the pain, Lu Ze waved his hand, condensing a ball of flame in his palm and shooting it towards the coachman's back.
"boom!"
The driver's body was immediately engulfed in flames, but he didn't utter a single cry. He continued driving, still ablaze, until his arm was burned off. Only then did the carriage swerve, crashing sideways into a lamppost and coming to a stop.
"Cecilia! Get out of here right now!"
Lu Ze shouted to his sister. It would be incredibly stupid of him not to realize something was wrong by now.
As soon as the two jumped out of the carriage, they saw that the driver's body had exploded, turning into a pool of blood mixed with the filthy black snow. Deep within the blood, a transparent radiance was forming.
A distant, ethereal chant then arose:
"I come, I see, I record."
In a daze, Lu Ze seemed to see transparent, blurry pages of a book flipping rapidly before finally settling on a particular page. The transparent light gradually formed a large door, from which someone stepped out, treading through the mud.
He wore a black robe, as if trying to blend into the dim environment. Beneath the hood, his handsome face was filled with madness and joy.
"Got you."
Mr. A said with a cold laugh.
