Mystery: The Last Shepherd

Chapter 218 Sequence 0: The Red Priest

Chapter 218 Sequence 0: The Red Priest
The evil spirit proposed two ways to break the seal. The former required the blood of three direct descendants of the family, while the latter was more convenient, requiring only that he directly release the evil spirit.

To be honest, both methods are very simple to operate. However, the first method seems a bit strange.

Why must Soren, Einhorn, and Medici be their direct blood relatives?
Lu Ze was slightly puzzled by this.

The Soren family was once the royal family of Intis, until the time traveler Roselle appeared and overthrew their rule, first serving as regent and then directly declaring himself emperor.

As for Einhorn
He glanced down at Sofia, who was still unconscious.

Einhorn is the royal family of the Fusak Empire.

What's wrong with this guy? Why is he specifically targeting people with royal blood? Following this logic, is the "Medici" family, which I've never heard of, also royalty from some country?

Moreover, the evil spirit's cheek was torn open earlier, and some people called it "Medici".
Luzer's history lessons were mediocre, and he knew little about the history and origins of these two families. He only knew that both the Soren and Einhorn families had red hair. This seemed to be the same as the evil spirit.

“I know about the Soren and Einhorn families, but where are the Medici families?”

Lu Ze asked.

“You can try your luck in Binsi Town,” the other person said. “But like I said, the better and more convenient way is to just let me graze the livestock.”

Then I will be manipulated by you and become your new body?
Lu Ze sneered inwardly, but kept his face calm.

"I will seriously consider it."

He said.

"Haha, that's good."

The evil spirit chuckled softly, "I hope you'll think this through soon. Or perhaps you have other needs that I can fulfill once I'm free. Or maybe I can offer you something of sufficient value, such as... a blasphemous card?"

The red phantom grew dimmer and dimmer, as if it was about to lose its projection. Just before it vanished, the evil spirit opened its palm and showed Luze a peculiar card.

It appeared to be a tarot card "invented" by Russell and spread throughout the world. On that tarot card was drawn a peculiar image: a male priest in a red robe, sitting atop a galloping chariot.

The priest's face seemed somewhat familiar; it appeared to be that of Intis the Great, Rosell, the figure depicted in history textbooks!

In the upper left corner of the tarot card, the dazzling starlight has solidified into a line of text:
"Sequence 0: The Red Priestess!"

Sequence 0?

Isn't the strongest sequence 1?
Upon seeing the words, Luze felt a surge of surprise. And why was the face on the card Rosell's image?
"call."

Before he could even ask what the so-called "blasphemy token" was, the red phantom could no longer be maintained and vanished completely with a gust of night wind.

"Well"

At the same time, a low cry of pain rang out, and Sofia Einhorn opened her eyes.

"Where am I?"

She asked, bewildered and surprised.

"you're awake?"

Lu Ze glanced at her.

What an exciting night! First, he witnessed the Queen's dreamlike procession, then he prevented the start of a war, and finally, he even escaped from a seemingly mythical evil spirit. Unfortunately, he not only failed to acquire any spoils of war, but also lost a precious teleportation stone.

“I remember just now, we were in an underground building.”

Sofia recalled for a moment, then her expression quickly turned horrified and distorted. "I saw it."

"Stop thinking about it."

Lu Ze immediately interrupted, "If you don't want to die or go insane, forget what just happened completely and never think about it again in this lifetime."

"huh, huh"

Sofia took a few seconds to catch her breath, and her pale face gradually regained its color.

"Can you stand up? You should go back soon, otherwise your disappearance will cause a diplomatic incident."

Lu Ze said to her.

"Give me a hand."

Sofia said softly.

How pretentious.

Luze reached out and grabbed her, pulling her up from the ground with a little force. "Aren't you surprised that I'm actually a princess of the Fussac royal family?"

She grabbed Lu Ze's hand and asked.

"so what."

Lu Ze released her and said.

He looked up and glanced around. He could only confirm that he was in Backlund, but he didn't know the exact address or how to get back to the villa where the ball was held.

"Anyway, I left Cecilia there," Luze thought to himself. He had been suddenly teleported, leaving his employer, Miss Audrey, and his sister behind.

The two walked on the street for a while and finally encountered a horse-drawn carriage.

After spending a little money, they successfully persuaded the driver to take them back to their original address.

As the carriage moved along, Sophia quietly nestled inside. Her red hair cascaded down her shoulders to her knees, the strands gleaming like rubies.

Why are you there today?

she asked quietly.

"Hired to act as a bodyguard for someone."

"Did you see the Queen's group just now?"

"Of course I saw it, but I suggest you don't be too curious. Don't forget the lesson you just learned."

"."

So Sofia stopped talking.

The atmosphere in the carriage was quiet for a while until the carriage stopped and took them back to the front of the villa. By then, faint sounds of commotion could be heard from inside the villa; it seemed that the people inside had discovered Sophia's disappearance and were beginning to search for her.

"Go down by yourself."

Lu Ze said. He couldn't show himself, so he planned to disappear into the shadows and quietly reunite with his sister. "Remember, don't tell anyone about me."

"Ok, I know."

Sofia got out of the car, clutching her coat to herself in the cold night wind. She wiped the blood from her face, but still looked somewhat weak.

"correct."

After taking a few steps, she turned around.

I almost forgot to thank you.

The villa's bright light shone on the street, and she was backlit, her body outlined with a golden border, revealing an unusual beauty.

"Thank you for saving me today."

She said it from the bottom of her heart.

"You're welcome."

Lu Ze replied, "Just remember to pay me a reward."

".remuneration?"

“Yes, I risked so much to save you today, do you really think you can just settle for a thank you?” Lu Ze asked calmly. “The Fussac royal family can afford to, can’t they?”

It would be fine if he got any loot tonight, but the problem is, he got nothing tonight.

Sofia paused for a second, then gave a helpless, even somewhat bitter, smile.

"Okay, I'll give it to you."

“I remember through Miss Audrey, she is my employer tonight.”

After Lu Ze finished speaking, his body turned into a shadow and disappeared. He watched Sophia walk alone into the villa, and amidst the gasps of the crowd, he flashed his standard smile, announcing his safe return.

While everyone's attention was on Sofia, he quietly slipped into the villa.

Soon, Lu Ze found his employer.

"Miss Audrey, where is my sister?"
