Chapter 63: Waking up to find I have a Black boss

After watching for a while, Du Mu exited Steve's world.

He's not a pervert; he's not interested in staring at a curvy American butt all the time.

In any case, the supervision work is mainly handled by other agents, and Du Mu only needs to stand by and keep watch.

He found a perfect spot, took out his comic book, and started his AFK (away from keyboard) mode.

"Poor clown, he got beaten up by the evil Batman again."

Upon receiving news that Steve was about to wake up, Du Mu immediately rushed to Steve's world.

Not long ago, Steve woke up from his coma.

This highly observant super soldier saw through the meticulously crafted Steve world almost instantly, achieving in a fraction of what Truman had accomplished in thirty years.

When the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents tried to calm Steve down, he suddenly attacked and swiftly took them down to the ground in a few clean moves.

Immediately afterwards, Steve rushed out of the fake scene and headed straight for the room's exit.

Steve was incredibly fast; his legs moved with a speed far exceeding that of an average person. Who would have imagined that this was an ice man who had been in a coma for seventy years and had just awakened?

"Step aside!"

Steve saw Du Mu appear at the door and immediately shouted.

Du Mu chuckled and said, "Sorry, this road is blocked."

Steve frowned, and just as he was about to force his way through, he heard Du Mu suddenly shout.

"Look at the fist!"

Du Mu suddenly charged forward and delivered a left front kick to Steve!

Steve's eyes widened, clearly not expecting Du Mu to be so uncivilized. Not only did he launch a sneak attack, but he also shouted "Take this punch!" and then kicked him!
But his extensive combat experience allowed him to react instantly, raising his arms and crossing them in front of him to block.

Bang!
A dull crashing sound sounded.

An unexpectedly powerful force struck Steve's hands!
He felt a violent jolt and numbness in his arms, and was thrown backward uncontrollably by the force. He staggered back several steps before he could barely regain his balance and dissipate the terrible impact.

Feeling the tingling numbness in his arms, Steve's face was filled with disbelief and astonishment.

Once the thought crossed his mind, Steve immediately made no reservations.

He immediately assumed a standard fighting stance, stepped forward, and threw a punch that tore through the air with a sharp whistling sound, slamming heavily towards Du Mu!

But Steve didn't stop.

Du Mu grinned: "Surrender, Steve Rogers."

Steve, enduring the dull pain in his chest, clenched his fists and said seriously, "I can keep you company all day, you evil Hydra!"

Du Mu: "?"

He had already received news that Steve was about to wake up and arrived at the scene just in time.

"who are you?"

When Steve saw Nick Fury, who didn't seem like a good guy, he became even more certain of his suspicions.

"I am Nick Fury, the current director of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Nick Fury explained, "There may be some misunderstandings between us that need to be clarified. Don't worry, this is not Hydra territory, and you have been asleep for nearly seventy years."

Steve: "?"

Nick Fury then dismissed the agents, but kept Du Mu behind to explain the whole story to Steve.

During the presentation, he also specifically explained the origins of S.H.I.E.L.D., saying that it was founded by Steve's first love, Peggy Carter, and his friend Howard Stark, among others, playing the emotional card extensively.
