Invasion Myth: Starting with the Schoolteacher

Chapter 112 Please ask Instructor Xu to take action
If you don't understand it, just put it aside for now.

Xiaoqing began to copy calligraphy from the model on the stone table.

After learning to read, the next step is to practice calligraphy. Handwriting that looks like a snake crawling is definitely not presentable to others.

Bai Suzhen ground the thousand "human" characters into powder and scattered them in the wilderness. It is said that they should not be seen, otherwise it would be considered that someone in the Great Jin Dynasty was practicing witchcraft.

There are many calligraphy models to copy in Chongqi Academy, and in the Stone Forest, in addition to the four sides with the Thousand Character Classic, there are other calligraphic works left by other masters.

Of course, Xiaoqing has better options.

Xu Xuan felt that he had accepted Bai's Bodhisattva Heart Sutra and could not repay this kindness. He also felt that offering himself in return would disturb his Buddhist mind, so he could only repay her in other ways.

I specifically asked Professor Liu Zhongying for some calligraphy practice books for young children.

A calligraphy copybook written on the spot is a truly rare item.

After all, besides writing for his own descendants and the royal family, the old professor gave the third copy to Instructor Xu.

Then the old man asked curiously when the child was born, saying that the child was already quite old and had started primary school.

Xu Xuan stammered and managed to get away with it.

He left behind a message all for the sake of the children.

Back at the Third Affiliated Hospital, he began instructing the little monster on how to write.

Writing is a magical thing.

When Cangjie created writing, Heaven knew he would starve, so it rained millet; the ghosts, fearing they would be impeached by the writing, wept at night.

As a tool for the transmission of civilization and a vehicle for exploring and expressing the mysteries of the universe, it possesses all sorts of wonders.

Dragon and phoenix script, celestial talismans, are all contained within.

Humans, as the protagonists of heaven and earth, have made a great contribution to the development of writing.

Now that Xiaoqing has transformed into a human, she still needs to practice diligently.

Xu Xuan put down the judge's pen, picked up a scroll of tree bark, and began to study the second volume of the Ksitigarbha Ten Wheels Sutra.

"Thirteen kalpas ago, I diligently practiced asceticism to rid all sentient beings of the three calamities and five defilements. I have made boundless offerings to countless Buddhas and witnessed great assemblies where pure and faithful believers gathered in harmony. The wise and diligent all came to join the assembly."
This scripture contains profound truths about the universe, and its mysteries cannot be easily fathomed by ordinary people.

Although no great master preached the Dharma this time, I still gained a lot of insights from it.

As a legitimate Buddhist disciple, and with the foundation laid by the first volume, reading the second volume little by little was naturally not a problem.

Moreover, when you think about it sincerely, it's like exploring a treasure trove, full of surprises.

There was even a Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva chanting mantras inside.

Although Lu Pan had fallen into demonic possession to survive, his spirit was still that of a god of the underworld. He really gave away this good stuff.

The scriptures state that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Mahasattva personally proclaimed:
"At that time, the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha expounded the Great Mantra and the Complete Dharani. At that time, the entire Khaladiya Mountain was shaken, and countless heavenly music played without being played. Countless kinds of heavenly fragrances, flowers, and precious jewels rained down. All the assemblies were amazed and overjoyed, and all experienced wonders they had never encountered before."

Such auspicious mantras possess incredible blessings and can be called great power.

To receive the blessings of Ksitigarbha, one must recite Sanskrit mantras.

Examples include: 谶蒱, 谶谶蒱, 阿迦舍谶蒱, 缚羯洛谶蒱, 菴跋洛谶蒱, в罗谶蒱, 伐折洛谶蒱, etc.
Or perhaps, with great strength, bricks fly, and one directly recites the Bodhisattva's name.

For example, the World-Honored One, Ksitigarbha.

The phrases "World Honored One Tathagata," "World Honored One Ksitigarbha," and "Supreme Lord Laozi, may your command be swiftly obeyed" are all ways of greeting a powerful figure in the upper realm and asking for their favor.

If supernatural powers are imbued with spirits, their power will naturally increase exponentially.

Xu Xuan was overjoyed; he had found something good!

After that, whenever the kasaya appeared, it was followed by the roar of the World-Honored One Ksitigarbha, which was absolutely ferocious.

Even demons with some power would tremble at the sight.

As for shouting slogans while fighting, that's pretty cool too, much better than swearing in C language.

Satisfied, Judge Lu was just a good judge who took a wrong turn.

As dawn broke, Xiaoqing returned home to be checked on her sister's homework.

Chongqi's day begins.

Students have gradually returned to school for classes.

This literary gathering in Jiangnan revitalized the reputation of the three major academies, and countless students benefited from it.

I saw this group of guys showing off by West Lake. Whether it was poetry, songs, essays, or policy proposals, they all received praise from others.

After all, there was a huge gap in the quality of teachers, and the literary gathering was not like the imperial examination; the content of the competition was not limited to the few classic texts.

This naturally provides ample opportunities for people from these institutions of higher learning.

Almost everyone returned with a warm smile, though a restless air was hard to suppress.

The professors' admonitions using the words of sages and virtuous men were not very effective, causing some concern among the students.

Professor Liu from the Ming Shuke department noticed it most clearly; the students' handwriting was practically flying.

The shape of the character is still within the framework, but the meaning seems to enclose the framework within it.

So they promptly sought assistance.

If you can't solve the problem, find someone who can.

"Teacher Xu, I'm begging you."

Instructor Xu nodded. The old professor's calligraphy copybook was a great help. Let's see how he keeps this group of arrogant and fierce soldiers in check!

He paced back and forth, his eyes fixed on the restless students like those of a hawk.

"Student, who is the head of the Jiangnan Literary Society?"

"Lu Nan of Bailu Academy".

"Ah~~~ So it wasn't Chongqi after all."

The voice sounded like it was being squeezed out from between his teeth, and his sarcastic expression made the students feel particularly uncomfortable.

If this official hadn't been so treacherous and ruthless, and so tyrannical, I would have stood up and immediately admitted my mistake.

But the students all knew that now that Instructor Xu was here, he wouldn't give up easily.

Sure enough, they spurred on another person.

"Who among you can rival Jurdan?"

"The student is ashamed."

"It is the teacher who should feel ashamed."

This answer is enough to make one want to vomit blood.

"So, what makes Chongqi famous? Is it because of your scholarship?"

The students lowered their heads, intending to get by.

"The superiority of one's character lies in loyalty and integrity, not in cleverness; the excellence of one's learning lies in virtue, not just in writing."

"If someone is so agitated by just a little fame, will they still be able to stay true to their principles if they actually enter officialdom?"

The principles of Yin and Yang permeated the classroom, and Professor Liu sat to the side, smiling as he took notes, all of which were his teaching insights.

At this point, some students from humble backgrounds were somewhat dissatisfied, subtly suggesting that making a name for themselves through literary pursuits was precisely the academy's original intention.

Besides, they were all scholars well-versed in the teachings of sages; how could they possibly fail to uphold their true nature?

Wow~~~~~
A group of people in the classroom gasped in shock, almost creating a vacuum.

The brave are fearless!
Ignorance breeds fearlessness!
Because we are fearless, we are fearless!
Most students have placed a memorial tablet in their hearts for the warrior.

They're naive; they've never witnessed the repeated beatings suffered by the scions of noble families in the past.

Xu Xuan was also amused.

"My student, does studying the teachings of sages guarantee one's adherence to one's true nature?"

"In terms of reputation, how do you compare to Marquis Le'an, who stole light by drilling a hole in the wall?"

"This person was well-versed in the Book of Poetry and advocated 'courtesy and deference for the country,' rectified officialdom, and made 'high officials and ministers follow etiquette and show deference to each other.'"

"It also proposed to reduce the size of palaces, reduce extravagant decorations, examine systems, improve internal and external affairs, be close to the loyal and upright, stay away from the cunning and treacherous, dismiss those from Zheng and Wei, promote those from the elegant and the humble, promote the exceptionally talented, encourage honest speech, appoint gentle and kind people, and dismiss harsh and unkind officials."

"But are you well-versed in the teachings of sages?"

The students were confused; most of them didn't study history.

He could only nod blankly.
