Chapter 209 Slaying the War Commander
Chapter 209 Slaying the War Commander
John Wick, the most ruthless berserker.
He swung his double-headed greatsword, transforming it into a halo of light, charging forward and using his dimensional blade to deflect the weapons.
Ran Dan panicked and focused their fire on the black phantom, fearing that it would rush in front of them.
In the telepathic perception, the roaring, charging human seemed no longer human, but rather a ball of blazing fury.
His rage was so real, his murderous intent undisguised, that it pierced Ran Dan's spiritual world.
They had to keep John Wick away, afraid to face him directly, lest their spirits be scorched by that blazing sun.
Ran Dan's attention was drawn to John, whose mortal auxiliary troops were waiting for an opportunity to strike.
The endless automatons advanced, their powerful firepower suppressing the front line, instantly forcing Ran Dan to keep her head down.
When the numbers exceed the critical point, a large number of quadrupedal mechs attack, forming an impenetrable firepower network.
With four specially designed large-caliber weapons, automated infantrymen follow infantry into battle, providing heavy firepower support.
Large-caliber electromagnetic weapons, heavy-duty pressurized lasers, explosive rays, and plasma armor-piercing weapons.
The four weapon combinations expand the caliber to the limit that automatic mechs can carry.
At first glance, it's a machine about half a person's height, with weapons filling all the space in its upper body except for the chassis.
In an instant, the firepower unleashed by the Nur front caused the temperature on the front line to rise rapidly.
Various high-energy rays were used in combination to kill Ran Dan's elite warriors.
The Nur mortal auxiliary army was ambushed and brutally killed by the Randan warriors in a complex terrain environment.
Now that the aliens are trapped in their positions, they are naturally unleashing their firepower to kill Ran Dan and avenge their fallen comrades.
The firepower unleashed by the mortals amazed Urian, who shook his head inwardly, analyzing the density of the firepower out of his warrior instincts.
The Grand Master ultimately concluded that, faced with such overwhelming firepower, even if the Space Marines were surrounded, they would gain no advantage whatsoever.
Although their reaction speed was faster, the relentless barrage of fire made it impossible for the Space Marines to raise their heads.
"Charge!" Urian roared, becoming the first to break out of the legion's lines and launch a final charge against Randan.
If we don't go up now, it might be too late!
John Wick charged into Randan's territory, his figure moving like a phantom. With each spin of his double-headed greatsword, the aliens blocking his path were sliced into pieces.
The unstoppable warrior roared wildly and charged through the enemy lines like a ferocious beast.
He roared again, "You abominable creature! Give me your head!"
The hilt of the double-headed greatsword in his hand was split in the middle, turning into two one-handed greatswords, and he began an unparalleled dance among the Ran Dan group.
John was surrounded by the remains of Randan's bio-armor, and wherever he went, waves of death were stirred up. The power of one man made Randan's mind tremble.
With such vanguard troops charging into battle, the auxiliary forces naturally followed quickly, using automated infantry as shields and suppressing their advance with firepower.
In just two minutes, the first automated machine soldier climbed onto Randan's position.
Although it was destroyed immediately, more machines followed closely behind, their four mechanical legs striding firmly as they charged unstoppably onto the battlefield.
Ran Dan fought back desperately, but the plasma gun in her hand slowed down, and the continuous firing caused the weapon to overheat and activate its protection mechanism.
They experienced a kind of despair, the despair they had once inflicted upon other races.
With a massive army of slaves, there's no need to use any tactics; simply crushing the enemy's defenses is enough.
Now Ran Dan is experiencing despair. The cold, ruthless machines are relentlessly pressing in, breaking down her own battle lines.
Retreat. There is no other way but to retreat.
But there was no turning back now; the machine's synchronized steps tolled the death knell for Ran Dan.
The Night Guards, together with the auxiliary troops, charged at a slow pace, keeping in step with the mortals, and provided some auxiliary assistance.
The imperial guards, gleaming with gold, did not charge forward but instead remained distributed among the mortal ranks, coordinating with the slow advance of the enemy lines.
The Doomsday Warriors brought up the rear, holding the line to prevent any unforeseen events.
Superhuman warriors all understand that in this battle, mortals are the protagonists.
The mortals who assist the army need a great victory to gain honor and forge a true military spirit.
Even the First Legion was a bit slow, with Space Marines assisting the mortals in their attack.
Only a small assault team charged toward Ran Dan's command post.
With the Terminator's protection, Urian, holding a force field shield in his left hand, charged toward his long-cherished target.
"Lolos, the War General of Randan!" At the front of the Randan lines, the Grand Master roared like thunder, calling out to his opponent. "Urian Bendreg!" came the reply from the Randan lines. This time, Lolos responded to Urian with a scream.
They called out to each other amidst the chaos of battle and discovered each other's whereabouts.
The moment their eyes met, their gazes clashed in the air, like swords clashing and sparking fierce flames.
War General Lolos, in his exceptionally tall orange-red bio-armor, wielded two bone blades and charged toward the Grand Master with his omnidirectional bionic legs turned around.
Urian, clad in black armor, stood solemnly silent, wielding a force field shield and power armor. His combat boots shattered the rubble as he charged head-on against the alien warmaster without hesitation.
"I want you to die with me!" Lolos shrieked shrilly, his two bone blades sweeping out to the right, as if to behead the Grand Master.
Urian ducked to dodge the sweeping attack, then slid to Lolos's left, thrusting his power sword forward. "To die for you, you filthy thing? I have no interest in that."
The decomposition field of the power sword flashed, piercing through the right rib of the biological armor and breaking down its functional organs into molecules.
Lolos screamed as the pain system sent shivers down his spine.
It endured the pain and spun its upper body, using its turning advantage to sweep the bone blade out once again.
Dang~~~
"Hmph." Urian grunted, a sharp pain shooting through his left hand holding the shield, as he and the shield were sent flying by the violent force.
He landed on the ground, his armor scraping against the gravel with a rustling sound, and slid for several meters before stopping.
In a brief moment, Urian immediately stood up from the ground, his armor covered in dust.
Lolos raised his knife and chased after him, but his all-around leg movements were somewhat uncoordinated, as his previous sword strike had pierced a vital part of the bio-armor.
Although the Grand Master looked disheveled, he was not fatally wounded and uttered a mocking remark: "A savage beast with no skill whatsoever."
He immediately lunged forward to close the distance to Lolos, raising his left shield as high as possible to parry the bone blade at close range and prevent it from continuing to generate momentum.
A crisp sound rang out as the shield blocked a downward-splitting bone blade, though the force was indeed significantly reduced.
The power sword was drawn to block the sweeping bone blade; the power of the warrior Ran Dan made the longsword tremble.
Urian's mind raced, and he gently tilted his longsword inward to deflect the force.
The bone blade rubbed against the sword blade, the separating force fields biting each other, and the sword blade and the knife blade sparked with lightning.
Urian ducked again, retracting his shield and longsword to dodge Lolos's double attack.
He slid again, and his power sword thrust out, piercing the waist of the bio-armor, the sharp blade emerging from Lolos's lower back.
"Damn rat!" Lolos screamed, its painful cries echoing across the battlefield, causing the war commander's guards to feel anxious.
Unfortunately, all of Ran Dan's forces are currently tied up, and no one can come to their aid.
"Why?" Lolos couldn't understand.
With its superior height and strength, and more agile movements, it could not hit the human body, allowing the human to escape its grasp time and time again, and constantly launch counterattacks.
The organs under the ribs were damaged, the organs in the waist were damaged, and the biological nutrient solution was leaking out from the holes. If this continues, Biological A will lose its power source and become a dead thing at the mercy of others.
“A savage beast with no skill whatsoever,” Urian repeated his words.
What are techniques? Lolos couldn't understand. Are techniques really that important?
A fierce glint flashed in its eyes as an idea popped into its head: how to defeat human prowess without any skill.
So it charged forward again, unfurling its two bionic arms and attacking with two bone blades crossed, like a pair of pincers biting into the black-armored warrior.
Seeing that the central gate of the battle commander Ran Dan was wide open again, he was overjoyed, raised his shield, and strode forward, ready to repeat the scene from before.
The shield blocked one of the bone blades, and the longsword parried and blocked the bone blades, but the expected struggle did not occur.
"Oh no!" Urian realized something was wrong and tried to leave, but it was too late.
Lolos did not stop; it strode forward, its outstretched arms forming a hug, and pulled Urian into its embrace.
"Now you have nowhere to run." The alien war commander grinned maliciously, intending to strangle Urian in his arms.
With no way to avoid it, Urian raised his hand and pointed his longsword at the Lolos control room when faced with a life-or-death decision.
Bio-A and Ceramic Armor embraced, and Lolos's tentacles shot out from behind, a monomolecular blade stabbing towards the Grand Master.
In an instant, pain struck as the monomolecular blade pierced through the ceramic armor.
Urian dodged the blade by turning his head, but felt his second heart being pierced, his liver being shredded by the blade, and his back being pierced in multiple places.
(I got home very late; there will be another chapter later.)
