Chapter 130 The Sand Lizard Seeks Revenge

The sand lizard priests were filled with hatred; they were almost insane, their eyes bloodshot with rage!
Damn humans!
The sand lizards are merely encroaching on their old land and enslaving some humans, so why such severe retaliation?

They retaliated with powerful ships and cannons, and even wanted to wipe out the sand lizards!

The High Priest summoned all the priests, who chanted incantations and sacrificed human servants atop the dome of the hive.

They no longer feel awe; instead, they desperately crave a response from the void of the soul and the power to defeat humanity.

This time, however, the passionate void of souls remained unresponsive; the cold, empty void seemed devoid of anything.

The High Priest was in despair. Was the Void of Souls afraid of humanity?
Its scales were dull, and although its spiritual energy was powerful, it could not dispel the coldness in its heart, and it was as desolate as a withered tree.

Helpless.

The sand lizard race is now destitute, having lost their great mother and their ancient guardian deity; their souls are no longer answered by the void.

"Sacrifice all our people! We have no way out but to fight with all our might!"

No one objected to the High Priest's decision; the priests all knew that this was not a matter of racial survival.

The critical moment of life and death has passed; only the flames of revenge burn, a fierce revenge against humanity and against the invaders who invaded our homeland!
The Sand Lizard's power was unleashed, and psionic arrays lit up in various cities, initiating the final sacrifice.

Whether sand lizards or humans, the psionic array empties the souls of all creatures, ultimately converging in the sand lizard capital.

The venom of the sand lizard intertwined with the cries of humans, converging into an evil spiritual power that was injected into the bodies of carefully selected candidates.

This power can help them evolve and be used to fight against humans.

Doom's face was ashen as he stared at the surging torrent of psionic energy flowing towards the capital from the sky above the Sand Lizard's lair.

"I will avenge you!"

He murmured softly, mourning the souls of humanity caught in the psionic torrent, their sacrifice bringing about even greater salvation.

There is no other way. The deaths of hundreds of millions of humans here are exchanged for the saving of billions of sand lizards from invading the world.

Doom recalled a phrase often uttered by the Terra War Council: "No sacrifice is unacceptable."

"Roar!"

A deafening roar interrupted his thoughts.

With a deafening roar that echoed through the sky, the ground trembled as if an ancient ferocious beast had broken free of its cage.

Indeed, the only surviving guardian of the sand lizard, the ancient beast that had been slumbering beneath the capital, has been fully awakened.

"Humph!"

Doom sneered, bracing himself for the sand lizard's final counterattack, a desperate act of revenge.

"what is that?"

In high orbit, the human fleet was constantly watching and witnessed a horrifying scene.

A ferocious beast burst forth from the earth, tearing through the towering city and emerging from the capital of the sand lizards.

Its body was over a thousand meters long, its vertical pupils were stained crimson with hatred, each scale was the size of a tank, and psionic lightning flashed between the scales. Its crouching body was like a mountain.

"Human...I want you dead!"

The agonizing screams, imbued with psychic energy, resounded through the heavens, their overwhelming hatred still palpable thousands of miles away.

Sand lizards stand on the back of the giant lizard, the high priest floats and sits cross-legged, and warriors, who are also enormous, stand beside him, infused with power.

On this planet, they are the last sand lizards, yearning for revenge.

The High Priest pointed his scepter forward, and the giant lizard beneath him leaped into the air, its mountain-like body disappearing from the spot.

The fleet preparing to bomb from high orbit vanished instantly on the astrolabe.

When the shadow reappeared, it traversed the distance barrier and appeared before the Primarch accompanied by psionic sparks.

The macro cannon and the light spear immediately stopped, as the Primarch was within the bombardment range.

A mountain of flesh suddenly appeared before Doom's eyes, breathing heavily, its hot breath turning into psionic flames.

The monitor lizard descended from ten kilometers away, its body low and its steps unsteady, its blood-red eyes warily fixed on the tiny human.

It was as if it were an illusion, sensing a deadly threat emanating from the human body.

"Human! You deserve to die!"

The High Priest's eyes were bloodshot as it approached its enemy, the one who had wiped out its race, and gritted its teeth, saying, "I will kill you to avenge my people."

"Go! Warriors who thirst for revenge, tear him apart."

It brandished its scepter, summoning the warriors beside it to attack. It then chanted incantations atop the giant lizard's back, preparing some psionic support.

The last sand lizard warrior, his body brimming with spiritual energy, spewed purple flames from his eyes.

They gripped purple blades imbued with concentrated energy, leaped off the backs of the giant lizard, and vanished in mid-air.

With his psychic power at its peak, the Sand Lizard Warrior could now freely use psychic jumps. Doom, his face expressionless, slowly rose from the ground, his Judgment Sword still embedded in the earth, continuing to erode the planet's last vestiges of consciousness.

He flicked his shield, took the super shotgun from his waist, and stood in a fighting stance.

Doom quickly pinpointed the location of the six warriors; within the Primarch's perception, the location of the psionic warp shone like a beacon.

"Humans, prepare to die!"

Here it comes! A glint flashed in Du Min's eyes as the Sand Lizard Warrior leaped out from the left front. It was at least twelve meters tall and its whole body shone with purple light.

It brandished its psionic longsword with both hands, uttering words of hatred, and slashed down with tremendous force at Doom.

"Noisy."

Doom watched coldly, then suddenly swung his left-hand round shield out, while simultaneously pointing his right-hand shotgun forward to the right.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye; Doom's neural response was faster than that of the sand lizard, and even faster than that of the human body.

The moment the round shield flew out, its serrated edges were activated, and the hatred of the Star God Burner erupted forth.

Its rapidly spinning serrations unleash orange-red light blades, the very essence of the Burner—scorching serrations that incinerate everything.

The round shield was faster than a bullet, and its serrated teeth spun rapidly into a saw blade, slicing through the lizard's psionic protection before it could react, and carving into the sand lizard warrior's chest.

"Do not……"

The sand lizard howled as a surge of heat rushed into its body, igniting its spiritual energy and instantly burning away its nerves and evaporating its flesh and blood.

With a gaping hole in its chest, its strength rapidly drained away, and it roared in despair.

Before the screams had even faded, the round shield burst through its spine, leaving behind a charred corpse that slowly fell to the ground.

"Buzz~ Buzz~!"

The round shield engine roared hungrily as it spun and danced in the air, flying toward its next victim.

"Bang!" Almost simultaneously, Doom's super shotgun fired.

The bullet, personally blessed by the Emperor, was fired, golden light bursting from the barrel and striking the sand lizard that leaped out from the psionic warp.

Its upper body exploded instantly, with blood, flesh, and bones spraying backward, and its twelve-meter-tall body flew backward.

Flesh and blood flying everywhere!
The immense power of the super shotgun instantly killed a sand lizard warrior, leaving it no time to utter a last word before it died a humiliating death.

Meanwhile, in the slow passage of time, Doom shook his left hand, the flame in his palm pointing to the left.

Another sand lizard appeared, even larger than before, and it was extremely ferocious, having absorbed the power of its two dead brethren.

Doom's palm formed a phantom claw, and the Burner fragment in his palm was activated, causing the Sand Lizard's body to erupt in flames.

The Burner Shard, combined with Doom's Mark, makes them a true nemesis of psionic energy.

The rootless fire erupted instantly, burning away all the psionic energy on the sand lizard's body. Then, scorching rays shot from his palm, turning the sand lizard's physical body into ashes.

In less than a second, Doom instantly killed three giant sand lizard warriors without even letting them get close.

"Huh? Why?"

The High Priest was screaming. Half of the six warriors were dead, while the enemy was unharmed. The despicable humans were still standing there.

"Don't shout, it's really noisy."

A cold glint flashed in Doom's eyes; his killing spree had not yet ceased.

With a flick of his right hand, the shotgun snapped off, two gold-engraved cartridge cases came out, and he reloaded successfully with a forceful push.

He raised his hand and shot a sand lizard, turning its sixteen-meter upper body into mincemeat.

He turned and controlled the shield, flying towards the warp point, and sawed into the neck of the sand lizard the instant it appeared.

The serrated edges were gnawing at flesh and bones. To ensure the alien's gruesome death, Doom shut down the scorching light blade.

He wants to use flesh and blood and slaughter to commemorate the death of mankind and to avenge the sacrifices that had to be made!
Blood spurted from the neck, the spine was severed, and the round shield engine roared again, slicing diagonally downwards from the neck, disemboweling the hideous alien.

"die!"

Behind him, the sand lizard warrior roared fiercely; it was about to succeed, and the human could not turn around.

However, the Primarch's speed was beyond the Sand Lizard's imagination. The moment Doom swung his blade down, he turned around and slammed his left iron fist into the Sand Lizard's knee.

With a cracking sound of bones breaking, the sand lizard's leg was struck by a tremendous force, and it spun in the air in terror before finally crashing to the ground headfirst.

The sand lizard felt dizzy and only felt a hand grab the back of its neck before a shotgun was shoved into its mouth.

"Die, aliens that enslave humanity."

Doom pulled the trigger, and the shotgun shattered the alien, blasting away its entire spine and tail, leaving its belly and limbs sprawled on the ground.
