Chapter 345 The Serpent of Sacrifice

Chapter 345 The Serpent of Sacrifice (Part 1)

what happened.

There wasn't even time to think.

There wasn't even a gap in recognizing the current situation.

It was almost like a hallucination; the man appeared out of thin air in front of him. His bomb was effortlessly crushed; he couldn't comprehend the other's actions at all, and the man grabbed his head with one hand—

Like crushing an insect, he slammed Hazama Naruga's face into the ground!
The land crumbled, rocks bulged, and the overwhelming force caused the earth to collapse, forming a terrifying crater-like landscape centered on the assassin's position. Chu Hengkong bent down, took a step, and charged towards the center of the third meridian sequence while maintaining his current posture. His right hand gripped Xueyan's head tightly, carving scorched wounds into the earth with the man's face.

Flesh burned, bones wore away; even a body of mass 5 was shattered to pieces before this unreasonable violence. The instinct of the Anti-Rayon caused the blood smoke to condense into his body, but his will and energy pierced his marrow like instruments of torture, preventing his body from disintegrating.

In an instant, Chu Hengkong arrived in the city center, tossing the tattered humanoid figure in his hand into the air. Blood smoke spun in the air due to inertia, and he desperately tried to maintain his balance, but the assassin's next punch was already upon him.

That seemingly ordinary punch magnified infinitely in his eyes, like a raging giant descending to deliver a judgment, leaving no escape no matter how the smoke dissipated. The punch slammed into his face, breaking his nose, and, amidst blood and smoke, smashed through countless walls and pillars. He was once again slammed deep into the ground by Chu Hengkong, his body springing back up in a ridiculous, shrimp-like contortion, spitting out foul blood!

Only then did Blood Smoke regain his cognitive abilities. He saw the Black Iron Soldiers around him, the assassins who were surrounding him, Lylena Barry with her wrist trembling, and the woman holding the light shield and shadow blade.

This is the main gate of the Third Squad headquarters...

Chu Hengkong forcefully slammed him from the edge of the pulse sequence into front of all the Blood Alliance assassins!

No one spoke; even breathing ceased. In the deathly silence, all eyes were fixed on the assassin.

Chu Hengkong didn't even glance at them. He closed his eyes, raised his hand, and stretched his neck, as if he were getting up after a long sleep. He opened his eyes, his gaze casually sweeping over the people who seemed familiar.

“You stray dogs were so arrogant when I wasn’t around,” he said.

Chu Hengkong slowly curled the corners of his mouth. He smiled.

It was a smug smile, devoid of any living beings in his eyes, like a demon looking down upon a mountain of corpses. His eyes held extreme arrogance and confidence, completely disregarding life and death, let alone victory or defeat, because his mere presence signified victory.

This battlefield is an altar dedicated to him, and all living beings are sacrifices to the serpent!
"Run," Chu Hengkong said.

He issued his decree, as if announcing the start of a ritual. Memories buried deep within the assassins' hearts were awakened by this seemingly casual remark; the recollections turned to shame, and the shame escalated into rage. A small number of assassins collapsed and fled, while many more roared and charged forward.

A monk wielding a naginata was the first to charge, becoming invisible as he charged, his blade aimed at Chu Hengkong's head. NO.29, Zhangzhan Yuan Gulin, an ancient martial arts assassin skilled in using long-handled weapons.

Chu Hengkong snapped the blade in two with his fingers, then twisted his wrist to slice the broken blade across the monk's throat. He then snatched the blunt handle and slammed it into the attackers behind him, sending them flying. The man wielding the grappling hook hadn't even had a chance to utter a sound before the blow pierced his Adam's apple. The handle tore through his throat and then pierced through three more assassins behind him, pinning them to the gates of the Divine Guard like a long arrow.

The assassins struggled in terror, using every trick in the book to break free from the aura infused within the long handle. Changzhengyuan knelt on the ground, clutching his neck, trying to breathe and make a sound, but unable to stop the blood flowing from his neck. The aura of the Life-Sacrificing Serpent was as terrifying as he was; that crimson aura prevented self-healing and devoured life force, and once encountered, only absolute death remained!
The rock-man, Kaletal, kicked the Growth Academy away, then twisted his body dramatically to deliver a desperate, all-or-nothing punch. He was a veteran of the battlefield, fighting against real machines; his fists were enough to threaten even the Death Guardians. Chu Heng retaliated with his own fist, the condensed force exploding upon contact, obliterating Kaletal's spirit and shattering his arm and right side into dust.

The rock man was sent flying by a punch, and five more assassins pounced at the same time. Chu Hengkong grabbed one of them by the arm and swung him around like a sledgehammer, smashing him down on the remaining assassins. The five of them were pulled together by his brute force, spinning uncontrollably and creating a whirlwind that swept around the area!

Chu Hengkong casually tossed the assassins behind him. As they flew away, the energy that had entered their bodies exploded, dissipating into a shower of blood and flesh. The bloody rain lashed the faces of the remaining assassins, extinguishing the anger that had risen from their provocation. They trembled, powerless, unable to utter a sound. They finally remembered the full picture of their past—a powerful force they would never forget…

A fear I'll never forget!
“37, 46, 43, 60, 57…” Chu Hengkong yawned. “Sorry, I only remember the rankings, not the names. How did you die last time? Does anyone remember?” No one dared to answer; the assassins trembled like chicks. The Serpent of Sacrifice smiled coldly: “Anyway, they’re people I personally dealt with, so they deserve to die again… But I’m also very curious this time, who gave you all such courage…”

"How dare you oppose me?"

His figure vanished, reappearing a hundred meters behind the crowd. Van der saw a black arc, like the rusty scythe in the hand of Death, a fleeting glimpse of a death wing. Then his vision was filled with crimson; forty-five pillars of blood shot into the sky, each topped with a forty-five unseeing, lifeless head!

In that instant, 45 assassins froze on the ground as a blade-like hand slash decapitated them simultaneously. All enemies outside of point 5 were wiped out in that instant, and only… 10 seconds had passed since Chu Hengkong awoke!

Chu Hengkong patted the Fan De in his pocket and laughed, "They're all old acquaintances, don't waste time! Who's next to die?"

"You might not die, but I'll certainly teach you a lesson!" the black iron soldier shouted, echoing Guo Yutu's words. "Please give me your guidance, Young Master Chu!"

The main force of the Black Death Army surged forward, no longer the eagle-faced soldiers used for aerial combat; now, entering the battlefield were ghost-faced elite soldiers specializing in elimination missions. A ghost-faced soldier lunged forward, its fist a claw made of bladed blades. Chu Hengkong casually turned his head to dodge the attack, using a single palm strike to lift the soldier's arm, causing it to spin and slam back to the ground.

Chu Hengkong stomped forward with a heavy step, his toes smashing through the masked soldiers before landing. The shockwave sent the remaining Black Death Army soldiers flying. He casually slashed forward with his finger, unleashing countless strikes that shredded the masked soldiers into pieces.

He picked up a piece of scrap metal and rubbed it with his fingertips: "Still just fragile toys."

"Do you think I'm an idiot like them, trying to compete with you in physical fitness?" Guo Yutu said. "What Fu Guanglu looks at... is brains!!"

A red light rose from beneath the shattered demon mask. The soldiers who hadn't yet had time to step forward all raised their hands, and over a hundred mental energy shocks converged to form a massive, colorless head of the undead. The mental energy plague specially designed for Chu Hengkong materialized at this moment, its attack, comparable to the Think Tank Virus, transformed into sharp fangs and bit down.

All life has weaknesses. The weakness of the Thorn Tree is its large but useless body, while the weakness of the Path of Unity is their ghostly bodies. No matter how strong the body is, it cannot change the fragility of the spirit. Even if the torso becomes a unified whole due to successful blood refining, his plague is enough to tear Chu Hengkong's ghostly body apart!
The undead swarmed down like a chilling, ghostly wind. A man's laughter echoed through the wind, transforming into a powerful, resounding dragon's roar. A gleaming silver spear shot forth with the roar, its dragon head, its blade radiating divine light. That single strike was like a divine dragon soaring from the fields, obliterating the sickness and shattering the spirits of the dead in the sky!
The Soaring Dragon Qianzhen Spear. Wielding this spear in battle, the first strike can shatter all attacks from below the Second Abyss!
Far off, Guo Yutu slammed his fist onto the control panel, the frustration of his failed attack causing him to let out an uncontrollable curse. The remaining Black Death Army swarmed forward, like a suicide squad, piling the assassin beneath them. But the Black Iron Mountain existed for less than half a second; the sharp wind of gunfire shattered the army's formation, its momentum rising like a typhoon, blowing the masked soldiers high into the sky.

The screens in front of Guo Yutu all went out simultaneously, leaving only one side in the corner. That screen went dark and then flipped, reflecting the assassin's upside-down face.

Do you know where you fall short of Shaks?

Guo Yutu's face turned deathly pale: "I have no interest in comparing myself to that madman—"

“Sax will fight me to the death, but you will never have the courage to step onto the battlefield yourself.” Chu Hengkong turned around. “So you have the power of a 5-point mass, but you are still just a child playing with toys!”

He crushed the last ghost mask, grinding the metal and Guo Yutu's resentment into his hand. With a flick of his wrist, he planted the spear firmly on the ground and blocked Lylena's punch from behind. The female assassin, swatting away fragments of the Black Death Army, attacked bare-handed, unleashing countless punches and palm strikes in an instant. Chu Hengkong intercepted them all with a single hand; their speed was so fast that the surrounding air began to ignite.

In the blink of an eye, the two exchanged 371 blows. Lylena's two fingers stabbed towards Chu Hengkong's right eye, but Chu Hengkong's fist appeared before her abdomen. The space an inch in front of the fist became a vacuum due to the excessive speed, and then the powerful force of the fist exploded in that small space, sending Lylena flying backward, smashing a shattered path in the very center of the third meridian sequence!

Chu Hengkong then turned around, gave himself a thumbs-up, and smiled at Ji Huaisu, who was not far away, saying, "Isn't it handsome!"

Ji Huaisu couldn't help but laugh. She had never seen Chu Hengkong like this before—arrogant and disdainful of everyone, yet also exuding a spirited air. The restraining melancholy that had been holding him back finally dissipated, and the taciturn assassin revealed his true nature once again after two years.

He is Chu Hengkong, the Serpent of Sacrifice, invincible and unparalleled in the world!
