Chapter 11 I support you

"What are you doing?"

After finishing a few games, Chen Shixuan noticed Jiang Xun's fingers moving rapidly as if dancing, and curiously went over to investigate.

The girl's unique fragrance wafted into Jiang Xun's nostrils, causing him to unconsciously take a deep breath.

It has a lemony scent, probably from a shampoo or shower gel, mixed with a unique scent that's very likely to trigger a surge in hormones.

Jiang Xun turned to look at Chen Shixuan as if it were a subconscious action.

His nose brushed against the girl's cheek, almost kissing her directly.

"Hey! Are you trying to kill me?!" Chen Shixuan's pretty face flushed red, and she quickly distanced herself from Jiang Xun.

She stared with her big, round eyes, her long eyelashes fluttering like fans, her eyes filled with embarrassment and anger.

"Who told you to get so close? Is it my fault?" Jiang Xun rolled her eyes at her nonchalantly, then turned back to typing and ignored her.

"You... I really want to bite you to death!"

Chen Shixuan bared her teeth and glared fiercely at Jiang Xun, suddenly realizing that she was actually somewhat helpless against this guy.

At this moment, she was once again captivated by Jiang Xun's astonishing hand speed.

Instead of gibberish, lines of logically clear text poured onto the computer screen.

This surprised Chen Shixuan.

How could a high school student type so fast? It's almost as fast as her typing speed when playing QQ Dance.

"Are you writing a novel?" Chen Shixuan moved closer again, but maintained a safe distance.

"Yes, I'm writing an outline." Jiang Xun nodded, not denying it.

"You can write novels? That's amazing." The girl's tone was full of surprise, as if she were meeting Jiang Xun for the first time.

Jiang Xun glanced at her irritably, "Do you think I've been reading novels for nothing these past two years?"

"You can write novels after reading them for two years?" Chen Shixuan was a little skeptical. She knew many boys and girls who read novels, but she hadn't seen any of them write them.

"Why do you write novels?" Chen Shixuan asked one question after another, like a curious child.

While typing, Jiang Xun replied perfunctorily, "Upload it to a website, serialize it, and make money, like those novels I often read."

"Can you make money?" Chen Shixuan's eyes lit up. "How much can you make?"

“A well-written novel can earn millions of yuan per book,” Jiang Xun replied casually. “A poorly written one might not earn a single penny.”

Chen Shixuan then asked, "So how much do you think your novel can earn?"

"Hmm... tens of millions shouldn't be a problem," Jiang Xun replied after thinking for a moment.

The novel *Da Feng*, written in this era, is novel and its success should not be too bad.

"Tch!" Chen Shixuan rolled her eyes dramatically. "If your novel can earn tens of millions, I'll just eat... eat the computer."

"Don't even think about getting a free meal," Jiang Xun laughed. "If I really made tens of millions, why don't you become my concubine and I'll support you?"

"Get lost!" Chen Shixuan's pretty face flushed red again, and she punched Jiang Xun several times in succession.

Such explicit jokes can be quite damaging to a sixteen or seventeen-year-old girl, no matter how outgoing she is.

She turned away angrily and continued playing her QQ Dance game.

A concubine? The first wife is Yang Kaiyi, right?! Jiang Xun, you're always dreaming!
She didn't say another word to Jiang Xun until she got off the plane. She was playing games with gritted teeth, and it was unclear what she was thinking.

After getting off the plane, Chen Shixuan waved casually and turned to leave.

"Thank you for letting me go online. I'll treat you next time."

Jiang Xun shouted at Chen Shixuan's retreating figure, "I meant what I just said, aren't you going to reconsider?"

"Let's talk when you've actually made ten million." Chen Shixuan turned around and glared at Jiang Xun before quickly walking away, her high ponytail and pert bottom swinging.

Jiang Xun smiled, and, stepping into the cool night air and carried by the gentle evening breeze, slowly walked home. ...

I still spend my evenings reading books, and when I get tired of reading, I write a short story by hand.

I didn't make much progress reading the book all night, but I did write several thousand words of the novel.

The next day was the weekend, and Jiang Xun slept in late, so he could have lunch right after getting up.

At the dinner table, Zheng Yun hesitated for a moment before asking:
"Son, when will your monthly exam results be released?"

Jiang Xun noticed his mother's cautious tone. He knew that if it were his previous self, he would have retorted with a few impatient words.

During high school, he disliked people asking him about his grades. He could politely respond to strangers, though.

But when his mother asked him questions, he always responded to her in the worst tone.

This is a common problem for many people: they reserve their worst temper for the people who love them the most.

After mentally berating himself, Jiang Xun spoke in a normal tone:

"Mom, I just finished the exam yesterday. The results should be out tonight or tomorrow. I think I got over 400 points."

"That's great." Zheng Yun's face immediately lit up with a smile. "Keep up the good work, but don't overwork yourself."

She had witnessed the changes in her son during this period.

Although he still locks himself in his room as soon as he gets home every day, he is never impatient when she knocks on the door to bring him food.

On weekends, I also help pick vegetables and wash dishes, and sometimes I even massage her back and shoulders. I've become much more sensible.

These changes alone made Zheng Yun very happy, and as for her studies, she no longer had any further requirements.

I used to hope he could get into a top university, or at least a regular one.

But now, even attending an ordinary second-tier university is acceptable.

Jiang Xun knew this was the result of his parents' repeated disappointments in him, but he didn't say much and left everything to time.

……

That evening, everyone was anxiously waiting for the exam results during self-study.

Because they had received inside information that all the exam papers had been graded and the school was compiling the scores.

Jiang Xun remained seated in the corner, engrossed in reading, seemingly unaffected by the tense atmosphere in the class, even during Old Zhu's serious class meeting.

However, perhaps it was just his imagination, but he always felt that Old Zhu's gaze would fall on him from time to time.

Wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, Chen Shixuan occasionally glanced at Jiang Xun. She must have dressed up deliberately tonight, looking even more beautiful and charming.

Seeing that Jiang Xun never looked up at her, Chen Shixuan felt a strange sense of frustration and anger.

This guy doesn't seem to be very interested in me.

Hmph, then go ahead and like your Yang Kaiyi. If I, Chen Shixuan, ever ask you, Jiang Xun, to hang out with me again, I'll be a dog!
Yang Kaiyi, who was sitting in the front row and was inexplicably caught in the crossfire, remained as quiet and composed as ever, looking down at her review materials with seriousness.

Her pretty face was without makeup, yet it was breathtakingly beautiful.

She wore a light blue dress, the hem of which swayed slightly as she moved in her white sneakers.

Her long, jet-black hair cascaded down to her waist like a waterfall, and the white headband, like a light feather, added a touch of aloofness to her.

Her neck was long and elegant, and her collarbone was faintly visible, which made her look even more delicate against the neckline of her dress.

This girl, as beautiful and pure as a begonia, seemed indifferent to everything, immersed in her own little world.

Until the bell rang for the second evening self-study session, Old Zhu brought over several thick stacks of test papers!

The monthly exam results are out!
Even Yang Kaiyi subconsciously pursed his lips, a hint of nervousness flashing in his eyes.

This is the first update. There will be another update later. Thank you for your collection, recommendation, and investment!
