Chapter 60 Setting Up a Scheme [Please Read On]

A burst of electricity suddenly erupted from Mann's arm!
"Watch out for the security cameras! Find the hacker!"

The animal gang members, rushing from afar, stomped their bare feet on the ground with a loud thud.

No sooner had Mann finished speaking than a heavyweight charging at him crashed into him!
Mann fell backward to protect his head, and the guy took the opportunity to straddle his waist and punched Mann hard in the face, shattering his sunglasses which flew to the side.

At this moment, Mann's eardrums were ringing...

Dorothy was still dealing with the enemies in front of her when she turned around and saw that Mann had been knocked to the ground. She quickly turned her gun around and fired a bullet at the guy.

The bullet pierced the flesh of the animal gang's big guy, and his body merely turned to the side.

Dorio pulled the trigger repeatedly, slowly advancing. The guy took several shots before collapsing heavily to his knees, blood gushing from the holes all over his body.

Rebecca peeked out from behind the thick pillar, and several bullets flew from the opposite direction, embedding themselves in the pillar in front of her, kicking up a cloud of dust and mud.

Rebecca, forced to retreat into cover after being shot, gritted her teeth and shouted to Mann, "I'll go find him!"

He casually fired a few shots at the other side with his small-caliber pistol, then made a clicking sound as the bullets ran out.

"Damn gun!" Rebecca angrily shook the dust off her head, threw away the black pistol in her hand, and reached out to take a rifle from the corpse of a member of the Animal Gang next to her.

Using her agility, she squeezed through the pile of clutter, and Pila, who was closest to her, immediately noticed Rebecca's movements.

"Holy crap! Was this part of the plan too? Why would they have hackers?"

When Pila saw his sister act recklessly, he felt a pang of anxiety and immediately threw out a few projectiles to help cover for Rebecca.

Mann held down his uncontrollable arm; he hadn't expected there to be a damn hacker in the Animal Gang.

"Where is Lin Yue?!"

Dorio yelled at Mann, this was a completely unexpected situation—the Animal Gang had too many members, and now they could be hacked at any time to shut down their cybernetic bodies, the situation was already extremely passive, and the next step would be to lose everything.

Mann, whose arm had been hacked, still hadn't regained feeling, so he simply used his other, still mobile hand, to fire his gun while directing Dorio to crawl behind cover.

Several bullets hit Dorio's feet, but her muscular body was surprisingly agile, and she managed to dodge them by stepping on a steel plate.

Dogtown is only home to a tangled web of gangs, hounds, and scattered rabble.

It was expected that Marta would have many members of the Animals Gang. But where did the hacker come from? Could they have teamed up with the Voodoo Gang?

Lin Yue had never heard of such a case before; he guessed that the person was hired from elsewhere to work.

However, if even the Sliding Nest couldn't stop itself, then the Animal Gang would be even less of a threat.

Lin Yue sneered. The "certain person" in Dogtown really wasn't willing to give up this business.

As I pondered this, the sidewalk beside the car was filled with homeless people from Taiping Island scattering in all directions... Gunshots and explosions came from billboards and abandoned buildings with collapsed rooftops in the distance.

Two black vans with the Animal Gang's "Roaring Giant Bear" painted on them suddenly appeared beside Lin Yue's car. They tried to squeeze into the parking lot outside the mall with Lin Yue.

Lin Yue jerked the steering wheel sharply, slamming it against the car on his right.

The two cars rubbed against each other as they moved forward, sparks flying from the deformed doors. Finally, Lin Yue, the gorilla, easily steadied the steering wheel and squeezed the other car into a makeshift housing area built by homeless people, causing a series of crashes. At one point, the animal gang's car flipped over from back to front after hitting an obstacle.

Lin Yue looked up, and at that moment he could even see the distorted faces of the animal gang members driving the car and the decorations floating in mid-air inside the car.

At this moment, the parking lot was also surrounded by members of the Animal Gang, who were fighting with the help of concrete walls and cover. They were Marta's men, and Mann and his group should now be trapped in the area at the entrance of the mall.

Lin Yue smashed open the deformed car door with a punch and strode towards the wrecked vehicle, intending to take care of them all before they could recover from the violent impact. One of the more conscious guys shook his head and looked up—

A cold, strong hand gripped his neck tightly!

Lin Yue, who was gripping his neck, used his gorilla arm to punch him on the head!
Then his head exploded on the spot like a rotten watermelon.

The gorilla opened and closed its arms, making a rotating sound, and Lin Yue tossed the corpse aside.

The rest of the animal gang felt a warm sensation on their faces; their leader was now headless!

"Damn it! Behind us!" the remaining animal gang shouted, quickly organizing a counterattack.

Hearing the shouts, the animals in the yard all turned around and looked at Lin Yue!
A hail of bullets began to relentlessly pursue Lin Yue.

His reaction talent, "Unpredictable," meant he was only grazed by bullets on his subcutaneous armor. He then slipped behind cover like an eel, pulled out his gun, and began picking off enemies one by one.

Just as the bullets that bounced off the ground took down a few enemies, a burst of gunfire suddenly erupted behind me!
The animal gang members who were still searching for Lin Yue's location all burst into a bloody mist and fell down like wheat being harvested.

Angie's people have arrived.

A burly, white-skinned man from the animal gang behind Lin Yue glanced down at him, revealing a set of yellowed teeth in a somewhat menacing smile. He muttered to the people behind him, "One of us!"

The animal gang members fight, wielding all sorts of things—sticks as tall as a person, butcher knives, and even construction hammers!

As Lin Yue watched the group of bear-like beasts charge forward, he quickly made a phone call to Mann.

Dorio tapped Mann on the shoulder while he was still stubbornly holding off Mann. "What's going on? The animals are fighting amongst themselves?"

Mann was also completely bewildered by the situation outside, and the pressure of being attacked from both sides suddenly eased.

"Lin Yue!"

"A new group of animals is coming..."

Lin Yue replied, "They're the client's people, don't worry—"

"I'm behind you!"

Mann on the other end of the phone paused for a moment, then turned to see Lin Yue among the animal gang members, wiping blood from his face.

Although the number of animal gang members beside them was small, they were all fearless. The obstacles and bullets from the other side could not bother them at all. They dared to push forward with their arms protecting their faces!
Mann, who had been knocked off balance by a member of the animal gang, finally breathed a sigh of relief and burst into laughter. "Holy crap! You're something else! We almost thought we were going to die here today!"

Dorothy hadn't expected the situation to change like this. She had thought she was going to mess up the mission, but she was now out of her intense tension and breathing in the fresh air.

Judging from Lin Yue's expression, the boss probably already knew they couldn't take down Marta's side of the Animal Gang, and that he wanted them to hold Marta back while the Animal Gang fought amongst themselves.

Lin Yue glanced at the number of people. Today's move was a risky one... Mann and his men could handle small-scale battles, but they couldn't deal with a leader like Marta who didn't have many subordinates.

Not to mention controlling Marta.

Fortunately, everything is going according to plan.

Before anyone could speak to Lin Yue, Pila suddenly squeezed into the call channel:

"Ruined."

"Mann, I can't get in touch with Rebecca!"
