Thank you for reading this far!
Unlike my previous fast-paced novels, this book is undoubtedly quite slow-paced. Before I started writing, I thought 20 words would be enough to lay the groundwork for the slow-paced part, but now it seems like I'm only at the very beginning.
In the past, I wrote the kind of books where you could read the first 10 or 20 chapters and see the whole thing at a glance. You could completely guess what would happen next because they were all very formulaic.
While it helps to get the audience excited early on, this type of book also has a serious problem: it usually gets stuck at around 20 or 30 words and then enters a state of serious "lack of activity," getting stuck in a quagmire of repeated self-contradiction. It feels like you're screwing in screws in an electronics factory, and if you're not happy, how can the story be enjoyable?
Because I didn't want to get bogged down in those endless, repetitive, and mindless wish-fulfillment novels, I did a lot of preparation before starting this book, and wrote a fairly complete world-building. Therefore, the outline of this book is quite clear; the ending, the middle, and even the foreshadowing and setups laid out earlier are all clearly explained. There are no unresolved plot holes, so you can rest assured.
There's been a lot of setup in the beginning, so it might not be until around 40 or 50 words before the stage is really set and the real story can begin. It should be much more interesting then, and it certainly won't be as bland as it is now.
—If it starts low, it has to go up later.
I will not abandon this book under any pretext. Regardless of the results, I will definitely finish it. And conservatively speaking, it will be at least 200 million words. My personal expectation is 300 million words, which is the longest book I have ever written.
It will be available tomorrow. I hope everyone will support it by placing an initial order if they are able.
Of course, what I hope for most is that, regardless of whether you choose to nurture the book or abandon it and wait and see, I hope to see everyone again in the comments section on the day the story concludes.
