Chapter 226 The Way of the King!
Golden streaks of light appeared on the phantom, weaving together intricate and intertwined runes like golden threads.

Mysterious and obscure.

Just as Xie Lingxin was about to explore, her mind was suddenly jolted, and she was awakened from her meditation.

I am in a daze, my mind wavering.

My thoughts were in a jumbled mess, hard to settle.

It seemed to have suffered a great shock.

“What’s going on…?”

Xie Lingxin stared wide-eyed, filled with surprise and uncertainty.

Sitting on the waterside corridor, I remained unsettled for a long time.

I wanted to try to explore it further, but I also had a vague feeling that it was inappropriate.

Having reached this point, Xie Lingxin decided to follow her heart and temporarily put aside the idea of further investigation.

I closed my eyes for a long time, but still couldn't calm down.

It seems that after that jolt, I even found it difficult to straighten my thoughts and enter a meditative state.

"Suzhen! Prepare paper and pen!"

Su Zhen waited outside. Upon hearing the call, she quickly brought over writing brush, ink, paper, and inkstone.

Xie Lingxin took the brush, dipped it in ink, and began to write on the spread-out paper.

"The poem says: Before the world was divided, the world was in chaos, and it was so vast and boundless that no one could see it..."

"It is said that the numbers of heaven and earth..."

He was copying "Journey to the West".

Unable to settle my mind, I simply started copying scriptures.

I had intended to copy the "Great Cloud Sutra," but when I thought about how this sutra was related to the "Divine Emperor's Rule Over the World Diagram," and that the unsettling phantom that made me restless was related to this diagram, I became even more unwilling to touch it.

"On the mountain there is a fairy stone, from which lay an egg, which, upon being exposed to the wind, transformed into a stone monkey. There it bowed to the four directions, its eyes emitting golden light that shot towards the heavens..."

With swift strokes of his pen, he copied down the story of the monkey's birth, its golden light soaring to the heavens and shaking the celestial court.

"Squeak squeak~~!"

A series of squeaking noises followed.

The Kanyuan Mountain that he had imagined has now transformed into Huaguo Mountain above the East Sea, where the Monkey King is frolicking.

As if sensing something, it let out a series of squeaking and squeaking sounds.

The noise made Xie Lingxin even more agitated, and he wrote even faster.

"Whoever has the ability to go inside and find the source without getting hurt, we will worship him as our king..."

"After looking around for a long time, we jumped across the middle of the bridge and looked left and right. In the center, we saw a stone tablet. On the tablet was a line of large characters in regular script, which read, 'Blessed Land of Flower and Fruit Mountain, Grotto Heaven of Water Curtain Cave'..."

Soon they arrived at Flower Fruit Mountain, where the monkeys had gathered in front of the Water Curtain Cave. They agreed that whoever could crawl inside and find the source would be crowned king.

The monkey became even more unruly, leaping and bounding through the mountains, running wildly all over the place.

It's as if he knows what Xie Lingxin is writing and wants to find the blessed land of the Water Curtain Cave that Xie Lingxin described. He wants to be the king of Huaguo Mountain and the king of Xie Lingxin!

The Monkey King can sense Xie Lingxin, and vice versa.

Xie Lingxin knew what this mischievous monkey was thinking.

He paused slightly, then laughed in exasperation.

"Your Highness, what's wrong?"

Su Zhen, who was tending to the paper and ink, blinked: "Is there something wrong?"

Xie Lingxin laughed and said, "A troublesome monkey, trying to rebel."

"what?!"

"It's nothing, just saying."

Su Zhen thought for a moment, then said "Oh," and leaned over to look at what Xie Lingxin had written.

"Your Highness, what are you writing here?"

"A precious scripture for becoming an immortal and a progenitor!"

"what?!"

Su Zhen immediately jumped up and hurriedly ran around. First, she ran out the door and peeked around furtively, then came back and slammed the door shut.

"what are you doing?"

"Your Highness, such an important thing must not be leaked!"

Xie Lingxin chuckled: "You're so thoughtful. Alright, you keep watch for me then."

"Yes, Your Highness!"

After saying that, he stood nervously at the door, peeking out from the crack every now and then.

"..."

That's good, at least I can have some peace and quiet.

After all that commotion, my earlier irritation has lessened considerably.

I calmed myself down and continued copying.

"...I have come in and gone out, gone out and come in again, finding this secluded paradise for you all to sleep peacefully and enjoy the blessings of family life. Why not worship me as your king?"

"Upon hearing this, all the monkeys immediately bowed and obeyed without question. One by one, they lined up according to their age and paid homage, all calling him 'Great King of a Thousand Years'..."

"From then on, the stone monkey ascended to the throne, concealing the word 'stone,' and thus became known as the Handsome Monkey King..."

Xie Lingxin stopped copying this part of the text.

I always feel that I have some understanding, but I can't find that spark of insight anywhere.

So he simply picked up his pen and copied it again.

He copied until the sun set, the moon was bright and the stars were few, and the night was still.

The paper was nearly a palm-sized thickness; it seemed like I had gained something, yet I hadn't.

Xie Lingxin sighed, feeling somewhat exhausted, and put down her pen.

So copying scriptures can also be considered a form of spiritual practice.

Moreover, before us lies a winding stream, a ten-acre pond, and uniquely shaped rocks and famous flowers…

Everywhere is a form of spiritual practice.

No wonder Bai Juyi spent so much effort building this Lüdao Garden.

This in itself is his form of spiritual practice.

Scholars and Confucianists, in their daily lives, whether sitting, lying down, or reading, cultivate their inner peace.

Music, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry, wine, flowers, and tea—all can be used for self-cultivation.

Why should I be bound by daily meditation?
"Hahaha!"

A few bursts of laughter.

Xie Lingxin flicked her sleeves and lay down on the ground.

So I simply lay down on this water corridor, with the starry sky and the cascading waterfall as my pillow, and fell asleep.

I had just closed my eyes when, after only a moment, I could hear soft snoring.

Suzhen walked over quietly, carrying a thin blanket, and covered him with it.

He waited by the side, and before he knew it, he had fallen asleep against the wall.

The next day.

When Xie Lingxin opened her eyes, she saw the thin blanket on her body and Su Zhen, who was lying on the ground fast asleep.

He couldn't help but smile, pulled off the blanket, and covered her with it. He got up and walked out of the water corridor, leaning against the cliff railing. The waterfall cascaded down, stirring up a mist that landed on his face, bringing a refreshing coolness.

"Wow—"

Xuanxuan and Hehe danced in the morning mist.

"I built my hut in the midst of human habitation, yet there is no noise of carriages and horses."

"There is a true meaning here, but I have forgotten the words to express it."

What a beautiful scene of carefree joy in the mortal world, a blessed land and a paradise on earth.

Thoughts raced through my mind, and I felt something stirring within me.

[Sex: 436.20/1000 (↑13.22)]

How could I have made such progress after a good night's sleep?

Without the circulation of internal energy through cultivation techniques, without the aid of miraculous elixirs, without painstaking meditation...

"Amitabha……"

"Your Highness is truly free and at ease; this is a cause for celebration."

A Buddhist chant.

Xie Lingxin turned her head and saw that the Zen monk Ruman, whom she hadn't seen for many days, was already standing not far behind her.

He couldn't help but ask with delight, "When did you arrive, Master?"

With a smile, he said, "Invited by Layman Letian, I have come to this Lvdao Garden to rest for a few days in the Wuzhuo Zen Hall."

"When I arrived at Tianzhu Pavilion just now, I suddenly felt something. It turned out that Your Highness had realized your true nature. I was overjoyed, so I entered without being invited. Please forgive me, Your Highness."

Bai Juyi invited him?
Xie Lingxin remembered that he said yesterday that he would invite some talented people for her. So he invited Ru Man?

This old Zen monk has profound Buddhist knowledge and understanding.

Since waking up from my coma last time, I originally wanted to pester him and get a few free training lessons.

But the old Zen monk seemed to have known all along and slipped away early on.

"I see!"

Xie Lingxin was naturally very happy.

"But what did you mean by what you just said, Master?"

Ru Man smiled and said, "Your Highness asked this old monk a few days ago, 'Where is the Buddhist Kingdom?'"

"How could you forget so quickly now?"

Xie Lingxin was taken aback.

Where is the Buddha-land? It is in the palm of your hand…

This was his own answer.

What does this have to do with me now?
Ru Man smiled and said, "The mind is the Dharma King, and the mind itself becomes Buddha."

The mind is the Dharma King; the mind itself becomes Buddhahood...

The Buddha sits in the Bodhimanda, and I gain royal power!
Xie Lingxin suddenly slapped her forehead.

I'm completely bewildered.

The Buddha Kingdom in the palm of his hand is merely a supernatural power he has come to realize, a unity of Zen and martial arts, and a unity of spirit and body.

But isn't the principle behind it also the path of spiritual cultivation?
Xie Lingxin didn't care about Ruman, she quickly returned to the water corridor, grabbed a pen, and began copying the sutra again.

It's just copying yesterday's content.

"Whoever has the ability to go inside and find the source without getting hurt, we will worship him as our king..."

When I copied this sentence, something suddenly opened up in my mind, and inspiration burst forth.

In Buddhist scriptures, the Buddha often said: "I will now guarantee that this matter will be accomplished for you."

I assure you that you will definitely achieve Buddhahood!

This is the same as what Ruman said: "The mind is the Dharma King, and the mind itself becomes Buddha."

As the saying goes: Enlightenment is instantaneous enlightenment, while delusion leads to endless suffering. If one can attain true cultivation in a single thought, one can eradicate countless sins!
If you understand, you can become a Buddha in an instant; if you are confused, you will be trapped in endless cycles of suffering.

If one can align with true spiritual practice in a single thought, one can eradicate countless sins!
"Hahahaha!"

Xie Lingxin threw down her pen and burst into laughter, patting her knees.

Its whole body radiated golden light, and the faint sound of bells could be heard.

Golden and round.

Like thunder, like a river.

As Man Jing stood quietly on the cliff, seeing this scene, he nodded and smiled, saying, "I advise you to thoroughly explore the place where you live, for returning to your original nature is the true medicine."

"Good, good..."

Xie Lingxin rolled over and got up, only to find that her sexual energy had increased dramatically, almost doubling!

Forgetting all his joy, he bowed down to Ruman and said, "Thank you for your guidance, Master!"

Ru Man accepted the bow with a smile.

the end.

The two sat facing each other on the waterside corridor, discussing Buddhist scriptures and Zen.

Xie Lingxin's newly acquired gains became increasingly solidified.

It is often said that some people can break free from delusions, suddenly attain enlightenment, and become Buddhas on the spot.

Just take it as a joke.

But today he experienced it firsthand.

This is what Ruman said: "The mind is the Dharma King, and the mind becomes Buddha."

It was something he had long ago realized: when the Buddha sits in the temple, I gain royal power.

This is not any kind of spiritual practice; it is simply a mysterious and profound inspiration, a flash of inspiration, or instant enlightenment.

They come and go as they please.

Just like him now, if he wanted to do it all over again, he probably wouldn't know what to do.

But through his interactions with Ruman, he solidified these feelings and figured out a way to maintain them consistently.

The Buddha sits in the Bodhimanda, and I gain royal power!
With royal power in hand and the mind itself as the Dharma King, one is constantly practicing.

Walking, sitting, lying down, eating, and drinking are all forms of spiritual practice.

Simply put, as long as he can maintain a certain state of mind, he can enter a state of spiritual practice at any time.

"May you live a thousand years!"

"Call him the Monkey King!"

The scriptures flowed through my mind.

Every word shines brightly.

It turns out that every word in the sutra contains the profound path to spiritual cultivation!

Ok……

Let's call this "Way" the "Way of Royal Power" for now!
It sounds ambitious, but it is actually the most peaceful and carefree, living as one pleases.

Having grasped the "Way of Kingship," Xie Lingxin felt completely at ease.

Every day, he would copy scriptures in the water study, chat and laugh with Suzhen, play with Xuanxuan and Susu, talk about Zen with Ruman, and discuss poetry with Bai Juyi...

He may seem to be neglecting his duties, but his cultivation level is increasing rapidly!
