Chapter 470 Digestion
At 7 p.m., Jun Matsueda returned to his apartment and parked his bicycle in the bike shed behind the building.
The sky was already dark, with only streetlights illuminating the open spaces at both ends of the bike shed. He picked up his schoolbag and walked towards the unit entrance at the front of the building.

The tightly closed metal doors appeared repeatedly and silently before his eyes. He found the leftmost one that belonged to him and entered the password.

As the weather grew colder, Jun Matsueda thought to himself as the gate beeped to indicate that it had been successfully unlocked.

I didn't feel it while riding the bike, but once I stopped, I felt the air around me was chilly.

However, it's also possible that his body had been extremely hot not long ago, and now that it has suddenly cooled down, he is having some difficulty adapting.

So Jun Matsue ran up the stairs in a flash.

"You're back so late today." Mochizuki Haruka walked into the living room of 507 and looked at the boy sitting at the dining table eating a convenience store bento.

Jun Matsue, with a spoon in his mouth, glanced back at her and said, "You know perfectly well what I was doing, so why are you pretending to be stupid?"

The girl changed into the slippers she had secretly left in the entryway, walked over to the boy, bent down and sniffed his shoulder, then showed a look of disgust.

"It smells like hormones."

"I'll take a shower after dinner." Jun Matsueda silently buttoned up his coat collar; the shirt underneath wasn't completely dry yet.

"You two didn't have a breakup sex, did you?" the girl asked abruptly.

"Who taught you to say such things?" The boy turned his face away in surprise.

Mochizuki Haruka remained standing beside him, her expression unchanged. The girl's words, spoken with such a delicate and aloof demeanor, were incredibly impactful.

"It's not like I haven't taken a physiology class. Do you think I'm talking about middle school girls who blush at the sight of gold leaf?" She raised an eyebrow. "Many of the hot girls in school started dating in middle school."

"That's enough, that's enough." Jun Matsueda turned around and continued eating the tomato omelet rice in his bowl. "I don't want to keep talking about this while I'm eating."

"You still haven't answered me!" The girl pulled up a chair and sat down next to him. "Have you done it yet?"

"No, we just chatted and opened up."

"No way, it's this late?" Mochizuki Haruka was skeptical.

Matsueda Jun glanced at her helplessly, "If you really did it, would you be back this early?"

Mochizuki Haruka fell silent. She looked up at the iron pot behind the glass wall of the kitchen and began to calculate seriously.

School ends at 3:30 PM. The third-year students have two 100-minute classes with a 10-minute break in between, so they should meet around 5:30 PM. Subtracting another half hour for travel and other miscellaneous time, it should only take about an hour in total.
"It doesn't seem like enough." The girl nodded; an hour wasn't enough for her.

"..." Jun Matsue glanced at her again and put the last spoonful of omelet rice into his mouth.

"So you won't think about her anymore?" Mochizuki Haruka stood up and helped the boy throw the plastic bowl smeared with ketchup into the trash can.

"Only Jun Matsue in the future can answer this question for you."

At this moment, Jun Matsuoka can only stretch.

He went to the bedroom to get a change of clothes. After leaving the room, the girl waiting at the door followed the boy, and the two walked to the bathroom.

"Why are you following me?" Jun Matsue turned around in front of the bathroom door, blocking the girl who was trying to come in.

“I have to make sure you wash away all her scent!” Mochizuki Haruka blinked and said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Come on, don't bother." The boy pulled the frosted glass door shut. "You don't need to worry about that."

The sound of a lock coming in came from the other side, and the girl knocked on the door politely again.

"If you can't sleep at night, whether you're sad or lonely, I'll come and keep you company."

It started raining heavily in the bathroom, and the frosted glass became fogged up.

"Go to sleep peacefully, and I'll wake you up at the same time tomorrow morning," the boy replied.

So Mochizuki Haruka obediently walked away. Before leaving 507, she took out her phone and sent a message.

"I feel like we can move on to the next step of the plan now," her aunt replied calmly.

"Let me take a look~"

When Matsueda Jun walked out of the bathroom, Mochizuki Haruka had already left the room. The surroundings were quiet, with only the sound of water droplets from his hair falling to the ground.

He dried his hair, threw his school uniform, which still smelled of his senior, and other dirty clothes into the washing machine, and then opened the box containing laundry detergent pods.

The box was empty—he had used up the last one a few days ago.

He bent down and pulled open the cabinet under the sink, finding the laundry detergent he had bought a year ago.

Laundry detergent pods are the kind of delicate things that Yosuke Kurusu would buy. Before the girl moved into the apartment, he used laundry detergent that he bought on sale at the supermarket.

The boy glanced at the production date on the bottle. "It should still be usable, right?"

After pouring a translucent blue liquid into the washing machine, Jun Matsue pressed the button and, amidst a muffled hum, raised his toothbrush in front of the mirror.

However, after a short while, he put down the toothbrush, paused the washing machine, and picked up the laundry detergent that was on the floor again.

"Add a little more."

That night, Jun Matsue spent more time than usual falling asleep. The bright smile and melancholy downcast eyes of Maki Yami kept lingering in his mind, along with the image of the girl's skin, flushed pink with emotion, and its delicate touch.

If you're feeling down, you can go next door to chat with Mochizuki Haruka and watch a movie. If you want to vent your frustrations, you can do it yourself.

But Jun Matsue did nothing.

He thought that if he did it, he would lose.

The next morning, Jun Matsue and Haruka Mochizuki walked into the classroom together. The girl's expression was indifferent, while the boy had a smile on his face.

"Matsushige, can I borrow your homework?" Ken Sakamuro stopped him halfway.

"What did you do yesterday?" Jun Matsuoka asked with a smile.

"Don't even mention it! After school, I went to the high school next door to play a game, and then stayed up all night to watch it. The home team still lost!" The boy's answer was full of frustration.

The class monitor shook his head, choosing to protect him, and said, "Come and get it yourself."

Tomatsu Yuka watched as Matsueda Jun walked to the seat next to her and sat down. His figure was briefly blocked by Sakamuro Ken, who was standing, before he reappeared in front of her.

The girl found the boy's behavior today a little strange—not that it was abnormal, but rather that it was too normal.

“Matsueda-kun?” she asked tentatively.

"Is there something wrong with Tomatsu?" Jun Matsueda turned his head.

Tomatsu Yuka breathed a sigh of relief. At least the boy didn't change when he was facing her. It seemed that he had pressed the mask back on, which had been loosening a bit.

After all, yesterday's meeting between Matsueda and her senior definitely didn't end well, so this situation isn't entirely incomprehensible.
"Matsueda-kun—" The girl's face lit up with a somewhat alluring smile, but she was interrupted by the boy as soon as she opened her mouth.

"Oh, right, Tomatsu." Jun Matsueda suddenly remembered something.

"Your previous suggestion is no longer necessary."

“Really?” Tomatsu Yuka was a little surprised; she knew what the boy was talking about.

"Is this good?"

Jun Matsue nodded.

"That's good."
