Am I being simulated by their love affair.

Chapter 153 An Unfortunate Journey

Chapter 153 An Unfortunate Journey

The first stop in the afternoon was Tengu Mountain.

"The night view of Tenguyama is also known as one of the three best night views in Hokkaido."

"But it's still a long time before the sun sets." Jun Matsueda stood at the foot of the mountain, looking up at the people on skis.

"It's a pity that I couldn't take the picture." The corners of Natsumi Imokawa's mouth drooped.

"No matter what, there will be regrets. I've already seen the night view at Mt. Moiwa, and now it's nice to see the city during the day."

Following the girl holding the camera, a group of people walked up the mountain, stepping deep and shallow in the thick snow.

"By the way, why don't we take the cable car up?" Tomatsu Tomoka suddenly asked.

"Because Imokawa is looking for the place where the Love Letter begins. It's right here at the ski resort. If you take the cable car, you can go directly to the top of the mountain."

"Is it the part where they lie in the snow?" Tomatsu Tomoka also became excited and whispered to Imokawa Natsumi.

Jun Matsueda and Haruka Mochizuki followed behind the two of them, and the girls' voices were like ribbons, pulling the snow swaying in the air.

"This is it!" Natsumi Imokawa said excitedly. She compared the camera image with the movie screenshots on her mobile phone. After confirming that they were correct, she lay down on the snow.

"So this is what it feels like." The girl looked at the gray-blue sky in front of her.

There was no trace of wind, and white dots broke away from the sky, swaying and gradually growing larger, taking the shape of snow.

Natsumi Imokawa stuck out her tongue and felt the cool touch on the tip of her tongue.

"It's such a simple color, why do I never get tired of looking at it?"

Tomatsu Tomoka also lay down, Matsueda Jun and Mochizuki Haruka looked at each other and chose to join them.

They lay in a circle, four hatted heads touching each other.

From the top of the mountain came the shouts of girls. The voices were not uniform, but the content could still be heard clearly.

"Are you OK--"

"I am fine--"

"Where are the lines from the movie?" Tomatsu Tomoka said with a smile.

A few snowflakes fell on Matsueda Jun's face and he began to hum a song.

"My love has gone away with the south wind~"

"What song is this?" asked Natsumi Imokawa, retracting his tongue.

"The protagonist sang it before he died, the blue coral reef."

"I thought it would be a very sad song, but it's so cheerful." Since receiving the message at noon, Mochizuki Haruka has become more talkative.

So Jun Matsueda slowed down his singing, and his voice became sad in the snow.

"My love has gone far away with the south wind. Let's go to that island with the blue wind."

After a song, the four of them climbed out of the snow. Natsumi Imokawa wanted to lie down again, but the fast-moving skis wouldn't allow it.

With an hour left before leaving Tengu Mountain, they decided to kill time by skiing.

Natsumi Imokawa and he are both beginners. Tomoka Tomatsu serves as a ski instructor. Haruka Mochizuki can ski but cannot teach, and passes by the three of them again and again.

After skiing, the girls took off their gear and stood on the Tenguyama Observation Deck, holding their hot cocoa. Matsueda Jun was in charge of taking pictures of them.

Leaning against the guardrail, watching the white mountain road stretch out, the small town in the vast snow has a timeless flavor.

"It's nice during the day too." When they finally left, Natsumi Imokawa said with satisfaction.

After going down the mountain, we took the bus and passed Otaru Station again. The bus stopped in front of the third pier of Otaru Pier.

The next stop is the Otaru Aquarium, which is located at the northernmost part of Otaru, on the corner where the coastline protrudes. It is a bit troublesome to get there by land, but it is very convenient to take a sightseeing boat at the pier.

"Seagull!" Natsumi Imokawa took out his camera to take pictures of the seagulls flying after the boat.

"Don't lean out, or your camera and you will fall into the sea." Matsueda Jun pulled the girl back.

The sea and the sky turned a cold gray. The people on the boat turned their backs to the coastline and watched the seagulls cut the white clouds into pieces with their beaks and throw them into the sea.

The sightseeing boat arrived at Shukujin Fishing Port in breathtaking silence, and the aquarium was just ahead.

As soon as Natsumi Imokawa entered the aquarium, she went to look for the penguin show schedule, while Jun Matsueda and Haruka Mochizuki walked at the end of the line at Haneoka High School. "So fish get hunched over when they get old," Tomoka Tomatsu remarked, following beside the two.

Behind the glass was an old gray-green fish, with most of its tail hanging at the bottom of the pool, its body like a blunt angle, and its back arched high.

"If mermaids really exist, will they look like this when they get old?" Jun Matsueda, who has been reading fairy tales recently, suddenly started to think divergently.

The little girl who was smiling happily with her face pressed against the glass was stunned and looked up at him confusedly.

Tomatsu Tomoka couldn't help but laugh out loud, "It's all Matsueda-san's fault. He ruined what was originally a wonderful fairy tale."

Jun Matsueda squatted in front of the little girl and lowered his head, "I'm sorry."

The announcement of the penguin show sounded on the radio, and people rushed to the outdoor penguin venue. Tomatsu Tomoka watched Mochizuki Haruka take out her cell phone and pull Matsueda Jun away, but she did not chase after them.

Haruka Mochizuki walked to the observation deck behind the aquarium and looked at the lighthouse on the cliff in the distance.

"It's still snowing." Jun Matsueda walked over to her and put the girl's hat on her.

"If it was the same good news as at noon, the medical team wouldn't have been without any response for the entire afternoon." Mochizuki Haruka whispered.

The light grew duller and the sun began to set.

"After receiving the call at noon, I tried to convince myself not to be too happy, but I just couldn't help it."

The girl walked down from the observation deck and headed towards the lighthouse in the distance.

Ten minutes later, the two stood under the red and white lighthouse. The white tide hit the bottom of the cliff, washing away the snow on the rocks, revealing a dark background, which was then covered by the gradually falling snowflakes.

Mochizuki Haruka's phone rang suddenly. The girl waited for a few seconds before putting the phone to her ear.

In front of her was the lead-gray sea and dark clouds, making the girl's back look particularly fragile.

After answering the phone, she still stood there. Matsueda Jun knew that he should go forward, as he was afraid that the girl would jump down out of frustration.

Wangyueyao exhaled a puff of white mist, which was immediately blown away by the cold wind from the coast.

"I tried the new treatment again this afternoon, but there was no positive feedback. Fortunately, my vital signs were basically normal, so there shouldn't be any negative effects."

"The data changes at noon might just be a dream of my aunt." The girl smiled and stopped talking.

After a few minutes, when the tears in the corners of her eyes had dried, she turned around and looked at Matsueda Jun.

"Let's go."

Large flocks of seagulls circled above the lighthouse, stirring up the wind and snow and casting ever-changing shadows on the ground.

As we approached the aquarium, the outdoor penguin show had just ended. A lone little penguin was lying on the snow, flapping its wings meaninglessly.

"I only now realize that the pain began to deepen after the trial that day." Mochizuki Haruka looked at the funny penguin.

"As long as I don't give up, I will have to endure the process of hope being born and then being dashed again and again."

Watching the staff in leather boots come over and help the penguin into the venue, Matsueda Jun sighed, held up Mochizuki Haruka's hand, pried open her clenched fingers one by one, and put gloves on her.

"At least things didn't get worse, did they?"

The way Mochizuki Haruka nodded blankly reminded Matsueda Jun of the penguin lying on the road.

The girl who was a little lively during the day seemed to be a flash in the pan. From the bus on the way back to the hotel room, she became withdrawn again.

Matsueda Jun stayed in Mochizuki Haruka's room until late. "Didn't the maid come to Otaru?"

During the few hours she stayed in her room, Jun Matsueda didn't hear any movement next door.

The girl shook her head and said, "I didn't call them today because I followed you." With Jun Matsueda around, she didn't need any other comfort.

"Then I'll sleep next door tonight." The girl's appearance made him very worried. He sent a message to Kominato Shoko, telling her that he would sleep in the room booked by Mochizuki Haruka tonight.

Jun Matsueda lay on the soft, large bed. The heating in the room was even stronger than the one downstairs. He kept his eyes open. There was no movement in the next room, but the girl was definitely not asleep.

He didn't intend to comfort Mochizuki Yao too much. As long as she didn't give up her plan to save her aunt, these were the pains that the girl had to go through.

This was Jun Matsueda's last thought before he went to sleep.

When he woke up again, he heard the shrill alarm of his cell phone on the bedside table.

earthquake.
