Chapter 144 New Year Airport Welcomes All Travelers

Chapter 144 New Chitose Airport Welcomes All Travelers

The bus rented by the school was very large, and students from classes one and two were all sitting in one bus.

The car was driving on the Metropolitan Loop Route 8. Before departure, the class teacher, Shoko Kominato, said that it was expected to arrive at Haneda Airport in about an hour.

"Actually, it's faster to take the highway. It'll only take about 40 minutes." Hirouchi Aya said as she sat next to Matsueda Jun, "But there's a toll on the highway, so we'll have to waste 20 minutes of all of you first-year students."

"It sounds like Mr. Hirouchi is very dissatisfied." Jun Matsueda looked at the scenery outside the window. The Metropolitan Loop Line 8 runs along the southwest border of Tokyo, which is very unfamiliar to him.

"I could have taken a break these past few days, but it's all because of you and Shengzi's suggestions that I've lost all my vacation time."

Hirouchi Aya stretched, showing off her tight waistline, and poured coffee into her mouth.

"Teacher, you can just think of it as a funded trip with Mr. Kominato." Matsueda Jun smiled. The woman glared at him and walked away with dark circles under her eyes.

After Hirouchi Aya left, Tomatsu Tomoka, sitting on the other side of the aisle, finally caught sight of the obscured figure of Matsueda Jun. She quickly examined him, from his hairstyle and facial features to his forearm and right hand resting on the window sill, nodding with satisfaction, like a painter finding the perfect model.

"If you like it so much, just sit over and take a closer look." Mizushima Miya encouraged her from the side.

The girl shook her head. The time on the road was short and she was not in a hurry. During the four-day and three-night trip, there would be plenty of opportunities for her to be alone with him.

The students on the bus were still wearing school uniforms, and Tomatsu Tomoka was already looking forward to seeing Jun Matsueda in his private clothes.

After getting off the car, entering the terminal, going through security, boarding the plane, and sitting down by the window, Jun Matsueda looked out the window at the vast apron with interest.

This was the first time he had ever been on a plane.

The hum of the engine gradually increased, the grass began to slide, and he saw another passenger plane with "A350" marked on the tail on the next runway.

By clicking on the screen on the back of the chair in front of him, he could see the image from the fuselage camera. Jun Matsueda clicked twice and saw the pulleys at the bottom of the plane.

The sound of the engine changed from humming to roaring, the cabin shook a few times, and the girl's small cry of surprise was rang out.

"I'm a little nervous."

Tomatsu Tomoka sat beside him with her hands on her legs. She slightly lifted her school uniform skirt, revealing a line of smooth thighs that were rarely seen.

"A little excited." Jun Matsueda didn't pay attention to the girl's actions, but just looked out the window.

Tomatsu Tomoka had no choice but to follow him and look out the window. This was also a good idea, as she could admire the smooth contours of Matsueda Jun's face without restraint.

The clear sound of breaking wind rang in his ears through the glass, and Jun Matsueda watched the wings rise and leave the sky above Haneda Airport.

Continuing to climb, "It's the Sky Tree." The girl moved closer and whispered in his ear.

The small spires on the ground gradually receded into the distance. The plane flew into and out of the clouds. Now the sky had turned into land, like the snow covering Hokkaido.

The flight began to stabilize and entered cruise mode. "You can use the in-flight WiFi now." The flight attendant's pleasant voice glided across the aisle and stopped when it passed by Jun Matsueda.

Tomatsu Tomoka frowned as she watched him being called away by the flight attendant and never coming back.

She had even thought of the topics to discuss with Matsueda during the hour and a half.

what happened?

Excluding the possibility that the flight attendant was attracted by his beauty, where would he go?

Tomatsu Tomoka took out her cell phone and started sending messages.

"Who are you talking to?" Mochizuki Haruka looked at Matsueda Jun who was sitting next to her.

"Tomatsu-san asked me where I went." Jun Matsueda was lying in his first-class seat looking at his phone.

"I don't want to see her." The girl pouted.

He nodded and replied to Tomatsu Tomoka's message.

"Upgraded?" The girl in the economy class looked at the message and wondered how could such a coincidence happen?
A little over an hour later, a slight tremor woke Mochizuki Haruka from her light dream. "We're almost at New Chitose Airport," Matsueda Jun said, turning his gaze away from the window.

The girl lay dazedly on Matsueda Jun's legs and looked out the window. The neatly divided farmland was covered in white.

“It’s snow,” Mochizuki Haruka murmured.

"It's snow." He looked at the light white flying outside the window.

The plane landed on the runway, stirring up gray and white snow waves. The girl climbed up from Matsueda Jun's legs and stared blankly at the flying snow outside the window.

"The plane has landed. I'll go to the main force first." Matsueda Jun said goodbye to Mochizuki Haruka.

Jun Matsueda was mixed in the crowd and preparing to get off the plane, and Tomatsu Tomoka was the first to spot him.

"Matsueda-san is so lucky." There was no sense of joy in the girl's tone.

"Should I say it's lucky or unlucky?" He picked up his bag and walked out of the cabin door.

When we got off the plane, it was sunset. Of course, in the falling snow, it was difficult for the excited people to find the faint light of the sun. There was only the dim blue of the sky.

Blue, white and gray, this is the first impression Hokkaido gives them.

"Matsueda-san, Hokkaido is a great place." Tomatsu Tomoka said with some excitement.

Jun Matsueda nodded, and snowflakes fell in front of his eyes, dyeing the tops of both of their heads white.

The students living on the edge of Tama Hill had never seen such heavy snow. They were like savages who saw lightning strike the forest and ignite a raging fire for the first time. They expressed their inner shock clumsily with various exclamations.

People brushed off the snow on each other and walked into the airport. Looking around, Jun Matsueda felt like he was back in Tokyo - the banners hanging above the hall, the various counters and shops, the polar bear statues holding Coca-Cola and Doraemon.

"I heard that you can spend a whole day at New Chitose Airport, as there are hot springs and a cinema." Tomatsu Tomoka had already made a plan before coming.

"Hot springs and cinemas are everywhere. It's impressive that they're at the airport, but it doesn't seem to have anything special." Jun Matsueda's expression looked indifferent.

"There's a lot of delicious food here too! There are all kinds of dairy farms and ice cream shops. The airport holds an annual ice cream festival, and the desserts are delicious too. The cornbread is really famous!"

The girl said with a smile. Matsueda Jun licked his lips and frowned again, "There's no airport in our schedule. Mr. Kominato won't let us stay."

However, good news soon came - the school's scheduled bus was delayed due to road congestion caused by snowfall.

"How lucky!" Tomatsu Tomoka's smile carried the sweetness of ice cream, milk and cornbread.

The two decided to act separately, Jun Matsueda was responsible for the cornbread, and Tomatsu Tomoka went to buy ice cream.

Ten minutes later, the girl was walking towards the meeting place with two white ice cream cones in her hands.

Tomatsu Tomoka hummed softly. This was the best milk soft ice cream that the girl had specially selected. It ranked first in this year's mellow category. She believed that Matsueda would definitely like it.

She was even more looking forward to the taste of cornbread, because ice cream and bread are a perfect match.

After seeing the two people on the bench, the smile on the girl's face disappeared.

"Why are you here? Didn't you say you didn't want to see anyone else?"

Matsueda Jun asked Mochizuki Haruka who was taking small bites of bread. There were bright corn kernels in the round golden bread.

"After getting off the plane, I saw such heavy snow and felt so lonely," she said vaguely.

Tomatsu Tomoka quickly understood what cabin upgrades on airplanes meant.

"It's really a lucky and unfortunate journey." The girl said softly.
