From the God of Lies to the Lord of All Worlds
Chapter 67 Long Time No See, My Commander!
Chapter 67 Long Time No See, My Commander!
Everyone held their breath at the sight, from Jeff and his assistant in the sky to the viewers in front of the screen and the New York City Department officials behind the camera.
None of them expected that the script, which should have been a story of light crushing evil, would take an unexpected turn here!
This demon actually chose to offer a sacrifice in prayer, offering a sacrifice in his own name to a higher-level demon!
Most importantly, he actually succeeded in one fell swoop!
Did this performance really make him call out a big guy?
In the conference room, Stephen suddenly looked at Thomas beside him and asked, "Professor Thomas, who is this Baphomet he's talking about?"
"A renowned demon, the representative of the Goat-Headed Demons, one of the seven Satans, the ruler of Hell, the great demon Baphomet!" Professor Thomas said solemnly. "I must have thought of it, I must have thought of it, who could gather such a complete set of demonic elements, and just happen to be able to transform into a mist wolf... This is a gift from Baphomet!"
Upon hearing this, everyone seemed to gasp. Stephen steadied himself and asked, "Professor, can he really summon this being?"
“I don’t know…” Professor Thomas said, “but based on some knowledge mentioned by Bishop Angus of California, it can be tentatively concluded that these powerful beings cannot truly arrive. Even if they do, it is more likely that they will descend rather than transcend!”
Hearing this, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. "Descent" means finding a body to unleash one's will. Although it is still very bad, it is much better than them arriving on their own.
They couldn't even imagine how terrifying it would be if a real demon descended upon Manhattan!
How much more horrific a disaster would it cause? Compared to this kind of disaster, 9/11 might not even amount to anything.
"Chief, what should we do?" someone asked Stephen.
"Wait for further instructions!" Stephen sat motionless, knowing full well what had become of that deputy director in San Diego.
Just because he went to the scene, all the fat in his body was drained, and now he looks like a dried corpse, lying in the hospital to recuperate, and it will take him at least a few years to recover.
Stephen wasn't going to be a sucker like that. Since he knew something was coming, he'd just watch. In this kind of situation, how could he dare to speak up unless the mayor, governor, and president gave the order?
Since the bureau chief had backed down, none of the people present had any intention of stepping forward. They silently shut their mouths and continued to watch.
Anyway, nothing can be changed from the past, so let's just wait for the big shots to make arrangements!
……
The situation on the scene was truly perplexing. Jeff, on the roof, was so surprised that he dared not move, while the prison guards below him slowly retreated into the house behind them when the pentagram appeared.
They had the courage to attack the demon alongside the "knight" before them, but in this situation, they lost that courage and quickly hid in the house behind them.
Lyon, however, abandoned his glowing horse, held a luminous spear in his hand, and stared intently at the monster before him with a furrowed brow.
He dared not launch an attack without authorization, because when the other party began to pray, he felt an incredibly powerful force slowly gathering before his eyes.
Even though the demon looked exactly the same as before, without any change, it still made his temples throb.
That was a warning of danger, or more accurately, a sign of crisis!
A gaze was fixed on him, making him afraid to make a move.
The next second, the "demon" reopened its eyes, looking around with curiosity. "Wow, what kind of threat could possibly make my little darling go to such lengths to summon my arrival?"
The demon spoke, and before everyone's eyes, it slowly shrank its body, shrinking from a height of four or five meters to a normal size of a little over one meter—if one ignored its demonic appearance.
"Who are you!" Leon shouted, looking utterly righteous.
"Who am I? You don't recognize me?" The demon stared at Leon with a look of surprise. "Oh... a completely pure soul. It seems your atonement is over!"
The demon seemed quite impressed with him, and actually took two more steps forward, getting closer to Leon. "Hmm! This face, this soul, I haven't mistaken you for someone else!"
Leon, of course, was not one to mince words. Without hesitation, he plunged the spear of light into the demon's body. Black blood and peculiar black flames appeared together on the demon's body as the spear of light pierced right through it!
But he looked like he was really enjoying it, even squinting his eyes. "Hmm...that's the feeling, that's it!"
Yes, he was clearly injured and bleeding, but his expression was as if he was enjoying it!
Leon couldn't hold back any longer and stabbed the demon twice more, leaving three holes in its body.
This injury was more severe than any of the damage they had inflicted on Remus before, but it didn't cause any reaction in the eyes of this "Descendant".
He gently pinched the light spear, and the white light seemed to have a mind of its own, burning his fingers with wisps of black smoke.
But he seemed completely oblivious, pulling out the light spear and snatching it directly from Leon's hand!
Under everyone's gaze, he held the light spear in his hand, causing his body to emit even thicker black smoke, as if he were being melted by the light spear.
To outsiders, it looked as if he were torturing himself—until he grasped the middle of the light spear and squeezed it hard!
With a "bang!" sound like shattering glass, the spear made of light was crushed into pieces in his hand and scattered.
But the scattering was only temporary. The demon stretched out two fingers and shook them, causing the fragments of the light spears to rise from the ground and shoot in all directions!
Jeff watched this scene curiously from the rooftop, wondering what he was doing, until a piece of debris came right up to him and shattered the searchlight above his head.
"Bang!" A shattering sound rang out, but when Jeff looked up, he found that the entire island had been completely plunged into darkness!
The viewers and those watching the live stream also noticed this scene, staring in astonishment at the completely black screen.
Then, the voice of this great demon appeared in the ears of every audience member: "Hello, audience members, welcome to Hell!"
"Oh!"
"Snapped!"
"My hair!"
"my God!"
Suddenly, everyone felt a strange sense of dread; had they been discovered by this "demon"?
Just then, everyone saw the demon's head on the screen, the eerie light emanating from the goat's head smiling at them.
A sizzling sound rang in the ears of every viewer in the live stream. Their phones, computers, and TV screens were all burned, leaving only a strange sheep's head on them, emitting a red glow!
"Hiss..." A gasp of cold air came from everyone!
If the previous scene could have been a "performance" or special effects, then what is the current scene?
Terrified screams echoed in every audience room!
The next second in the prison, Jeff found that the darkness in front of him had disappeared, and a red ground and a huge pentagram array appeared in front of them. The eerie red light made the entire area shine brightly.
Red and black flames burned around the demon's body, and a huge obsidian throne slowly rose from the pentagram, lifting his body up!
The demon turned off the light, but then turned on another light.
An eerie red light, a massive pentagram magic circle, and a demon's throne—it all seemed as if an altar had been erected in the darkness.
Although the three pierced wounds on his chest were still flashing white light, showing no signs of healing.
But everyone already knew he wouldn't die. He didn't repair himself; he just didn't care. It was an indescribable power and terror that could be felt with just a glance.
He didn't kill anyone, didn't say any threatening words, and even though he was injured, an indescribable fear still emanated from him!
Baphomet sat on the throne, looking down at the man before him, and smiled gently, "Long time no see, my Grand Master!"
