From the God of Lies to the Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 383 Who told you that your power comes from the gods?

Chapter 383 Who told you that your power comes from the gods?

Karl's voice still echoed, filled with an almost extreme anger and indignation: "Who on earth dares to impersonate the Inca gods? In this age of divine intervention?"

His voice suddenly rang out, and the next second, his voice was no longer coming from the phone, but from in front of everyone!
"Screech!" A sharp, piercing eagle cry rang out, and a huge eagle revealed itself in the air, slowly transforming into Karl's body in everyone's eyes.

This follower of the Eagle God, now the High Priest of the Sky, appeared directly in this sea area!

He stared at the crystal figure with hostility, and angrily questioned, "Who are you? How dare you appear in this world bearing the names of the Inca gods?"

"His Majesty Inti's gaze is still fixed on this world, how dare you blaspheme the gods?"

These words, along with Carl's appearance, left Austin completely bewildered.

He was so convinced that he was helping the gods of his bloodline, which is why he was so motivated.

But now, Karl is telling him that he didn't actually help his own gods, but instead helped a false god, which is a bit unacceptable.

"Impossible, right? Could you be mistaken?" Austin stammered. "Perhaps... it's... it's an even earlier deity?"

“Ivan directly asked the god of the sacrifice, so there won’t be any problems with Him!” Karl’s words became the last straw that broke Austin’s back.

"Of course Kokata won't have any problems, because the first god to discover me was him!" That sinister, strange, sharp, and hoarse voice slowly rang out.

Everyone turned their heads and saw that the crystal figure had stood up, staring at them with its eyes that seemed to glow green. "The Eagle God is quick; he has already found his successor in this world?"

"It seems that his injuries from that divine battle back then weren't severe enough!"

If they had only suspected something before, with these words, everyone present understood that the monster before them was not an Inca god at all, but very likely an enemy of the gods of this continent.

After all, what kind of good person would start by cursing someone else's god?

Karl clearly couldn't stand it anymore. As the chosen one of the Eagle God, he certainly couldn't remain indifferent to such words. He raised the scepter in his hand.

"The blasphemers shall be punished by the heavens!"
The thunderbolt is punishment for your words and actions!

Without hesitation, the high priest tore open his own palm, blood flowing onto the scepter, thus completing a simple ritual.

As he spoke, a dark cloud quickly appeared in the sky, causing Karl to unleash a furious attack on the crystal humanoid figure before him.

"Boom!" Before everyone's eyes, a huge bolt of lightning descended, the water bucket-sized bolt of lightning turning the surrounding sky white.

But this attack brought no joy, because the monster calmly opened its mouth and, right before everyone's eyes, swallowed the lightning bolt whole.

"You humans of this later era don't even know the most basic rule—only a god can harm a god, and you are not qualified!"

The crystal doll spoke calmly, seemingly unperturbed by Karl's attack, or perhaps simply indifferent.

He turned around, pulled out the blood-red cross beside him, and said softly, "Because of your actions, I was able to break free of the seal. I am very happy, so I do not want to kill you for the time being."

Hearing this, everyone felt dissatisfied, but dared not say anything, because they had seen the effect of Karl's attack, an attack that was difficult for them to resist, but it did not cause any disturbance in front of the opponent.

This guy is an absurdly powerful superhuman; nobody wants to follow in Nick's footsteps!

The crystal figure raised the cross in its hand, and with its movement, the cross, which was originally just made of coral, slowly transformed into a blood-red longsword in front of everyone.

“My name is Kuchamama, the goddess of the sea—of course, no pantheon recognizes my name and authority, because I seized those powers over the seas!”

"Now, it's time to consider how to deal with you—how about becoming my subordinates and helping me rule the world?"

His words were filled with an unspeakable confidence, as if he were facing not a group of extraordinary beings, but merely a flock of lambs to the slaughter! Elton didn't think so. He raised the "Poseidon's Scepter" in his hand, pointing it at Kuchamama, "So you're responsible for the casualties here, right?"

"With so many of us, do you think we're afraid of some evil god who just awoke from the seabed? We have the gods behind us!"

His words startled many people, but their eyes lit up. Yes, they inherited the power of the gods, not just themselves, so why not?
They all stood up, drawing upon the power within their bodies, ready to fight this strange evil god!
"Hahaha!" Kuchamama laughed loudly, "Who told you that your power comes from the gods?"

As he said these words, he raised his hand, causing more than half of the extraordinary individuals present to struggle and float into the air.

"How about it? My power... is it useful?"

On Elton, Austin, and the fleets of various nations, people possessing the power of the sea are simultaneously manipulated by him, floating in the air, struggling helplessly.

Elton retorted, "Nonsense! I clearly inherited the power of King Poseidon, how could it be yours?"

“Poseidon?” Kuchamama laughed upon hearing this. “How can you accept my power without pretending to be Poseidon?”

"If I don't tell you it's their power, how can you bring this power to me?"

Upon hearing this, everyone understood!
It turns out, this wasn't a trap, but a trap within a trap!

Kuchamama first used her identity as the "Sea God" to make Austin her man, and then seduced them into breaking her own seal.

Then, he used his power and authority to seduce these people, making them believe that they were “chosen by God”, which made their ambitions even greater and drew them here.

From beginning to end, they were all caught up in each other's scheme, flying around like headless flies.

Any "adventures" or "extraordinary information" that they perceived turned out to be traps set for them by the other party.

As soon as Kuchamama reached out, everyone seemed to be drained of their energy and collapsed. The creations they held in their hands all came into her hands and merged into her body, becoming part of her.

An aura of "power" was unleashed from him without reservation, causing everyone to be terrified.

He absorbed the authority of those who gained extraordinary power in the sea, becoming more and more like a true god. He slowly rose into the sky and came to the center of this sea area.

"I know that people from all these countries are watching here..." he said loudly, holding in his hands the superhumans whose powers had been taken from him. "Offer me your faith, and I may forgive your past offenses!"

"If anyone dares to rebel, I will make their kingdom a thing of the past!"

Behind him, a terrifying light shot into the sky, and the graveyard that was originally buried in the sea slowly rose up, transforming into a solid island, revealing the broken stone bricks on it.

As he moved, the stone bricks slowly coalesced and, under the watchful eyes of everyone, were reassembled into an enormous altar!

“Once, Poseidon, Aegir, Payukaka, and that eagle together shattered my throne, sank my kingdom, and sealed me in this sea!”

“Now, I can still return, but your gods can no longer come to save you!”

He waved his hand, and the black light seemed to come alive, shooting into the distant sea and creating a huge sound and towering waves. The terrifying waves even caused the entire area to tremble, and sea walls tens of meters high cascaded down, pushing those out-of-control ships to the bottom of the sea.

Behind Kuchamama, a huge altar emitted a dark light, turning the entire sea black and making the faces of the many national leaders in front of the screen appear deathly pale!

"What does he mean by saying that our gods cannot save us?" someone asked worriedly, especially the leaders of the Nordic countries, who all looked at each other in bewilderment.

"It's probably like the gods of the Americas and Christian deities that appeared recently; they can't come to us for the time being, which is why such monsters have appeared!" someone speculated.

They certainly didn't think this so-called "sea god" could really destroy their country, but no one would feel good about being saddled with a "god-like" enemy for no reason.
But everyone's pursuit of "extraordinary" ultimately turned into a tragic illusion. Professor Thomas nodded slowly, "Indeed, extraordinary achievements without effort often come at a terrible price..."
