Chapter 259 Two Religions Go Hand in Hand
The alley was still quiet, the only difference being that the monk slowly got up.

Ananda's phantom and golden light seemed to have never appeared; the only thing that appeared was the golden light shimmering in Min Ang's eyes.

Yes, he awoke after Ananda personally bestowed upon him the "Great Enlightenment"!

This was not a resurrection, but a special kind of regression. Min Ang could feel the pain in his body, but he no longer cared.

Some special abilities reappeared in him, repairing his body and making his spirit strong again!
In fact, in Theravada Buddhism, or the Hinayana Buddhism, there is no such thing as "gift" or divine grace.

They believe that everything is the result of spiritual practice, and even encountering an Arhat or Buddha is to obtain "Dharma" rather than power.

Arhats are perfect disciples of the "Śrāvaka" path, saints who, following the Buddha's teachings, have eradicated all afflictions and attained Nirvana through their own efforts. They are role models and proof for practitioners, not deities with supernatural powers who can bestow favors.

Therefore, Min Ang is still a "mortal body" and all he has gained is "enlightenment".

But that's enough!
A Dharma Master who has attained enlightenment is already on the path to becoming an Arhat. They do not seek "supernatural powers," but they have already achieved them.

However, Ananda's words before leaving were also very profound: "I hope you can find the true meaning, walk the earth, and give with the Dharma, rather than subdue with force!"

Min Ang couldn't quite understand this sentence, but he was trying very hard to understand it and thinking about what he should do.

Now, he is no longer the monk who couldn't even manage himself. He has been transformed and now possesses the power of the Dharma called "Right Awakening"!
With his original aspirations unchanged, it's time for him to fulfill the "grand ambition" he has never accomplished before!

He wants to fight for a better, more hopeful future for this country, all its people and believers, instead of the endless despair they face now!

Ordinary monks in this country see endless prayer flags, temples, and pagodas, but Min Aung sees only emaciated and sickly people.

This country has long been suffering to the point of near misery, and Buddhism, which was once a "helper" in persuading people to do good, has become an "accomplice" in suppressing the thinking of the masses and causing their minds to degenerate!
This is wrong, and it should be changed!

Min Ang was also dissatisfied and unwilling, but he was helpless.

But now, everything is different. He has received affirmation from the "enlightened one," he has a strong claim to the "Buddha," and now he is a practitioner on the path, not a prayerful person with nothing.

“It’s time for a change in this country, and for a change in these warlords!” Min Ang said in a low voice.

He clasped his hands together, stood still, and pondered his next move.

“First, we need to stop the war. War is the catalyst for suffering and the culprit that has plunged this country into the abyss!” Min Ang said in a low voice. “Then… let’s start from this region. Stop the war, stop the preferential treatment of monks, and return to the original Buddhist precepts, instead of the distorted precepts we have now!”

He knew that this country was distorted, deformed, and very sick, and that this sickness stemmed from war and from these temples that did not engage in production but still occupied the vast majority of resources.

This country is actually ruled by high-ranking monks and warlords, which clearly violates the teachings of Theravada Buddhism!
Back then, those Buddhist monks who refused to accept gold and silver even chose to split their communities. How would they feel if they saw their own disciples and grand-disciples owning such extravagant scenes?
An elderly monk walks along the road, seemingly unchanged, yet the surrounding air appears to become more "sacred"!
The enlightened ones are on the path!
……

Just as Min Aung strode away from the city and headed north, at Yangon International Airport, George Stasi sat in a chair with his eyes closed, holding a greatsword.

Beside him was the current CIA deputy director, who was explaining the situation to him.

"The situation in the entire Myanmar region is very complicated because it is not a single military organization that we have supported, but a group of warlords who may fight today and be replaced tomorrow!"

"They don't really need us. In fact, this group will take money from anyone but won't do anything for anyone. They might take money today and be overthrown tomorrow!"

"Even in independent states like Shan State or Kachin State, leaders frequently change due to military activities, leading to extreme instability in the entire region." This is the reality in war-torn regions, where rapid military changes and the overwhelming power of neighboring major powers create an imbalance across the region.

Even America's unbridled world-class intelligence organization is clearly struggling here.

“I understand!” George nodded and said in a deep voice, “So, is the location confirmed?”

"Of course, we have found the specific location of the military camp. It belongs to a military organization called Dakan under the Kachin Army. According to intelligence, even within the Kachin Army, he is a very troublesome person. It is normal for him to obey orders but not proclamations. He has been controlling some fraud parks along the border and some special trade areas for many years!"

Upon hearing this, George opened his eyes. "Special trade? Drug trafficking and human trafficking, is that it?"

“Yes, Your Excellency!” the deputy director nodded and said, “This is no secret in the Golden Triangle region. They rely on this kind of trade to support their army and fight against the military government!”

The military junta in Myanmar is currently in its worst period. The area under their actual control has plummeted from 50% to less than 30%, and the remaining areas are all controlled by military leaders of all sizes. It is more like a chaotic region than a country.

“The dirtiest politics are far cleaner than the cleanest warlords, no wonder the Lord sent down such a warning!” George said softly. “I know everything. Give me a map, let’s go rescue them!”

"Sir, we can negotiate with the military government and the Kachin Army; they will give us face!" the deputy director said with some concern. "You don't need to go there yourself..."

George shook his head. "No, this isn't about America. You have no reason to speak up for us. This is a matter for the Vatican. The problem lies with a citizen of this country, who is also one of our believers!"

"The Vatican must use its own strength to maintain this faith. Faith in every land is precious, and every believer will be protected by us!"

George was an incredibly devout believer and, to everyone's surprise, a saint chosen by saints and angels.

All his actions followed the principle of "for the good of the Papacy," so he helped the Papacy in America to eliminate werewolves and vampires, and he also helped Angus with his missionary work.

Now, he must rescue their believers from the flames of war and the army!

"Then, Your Excellency, is there anything we can do for you?" The deputy director did not intend to stop George. He held a high position in the government, knew a lot, and knew why this man was called a saint!
He had no right to criticize this person, so he could only assist.

"Please tell the military government not to stop our advance, and also tell the Kachin Army that we've arrived!"

George calmly stated that before leaving America, he received a message from Pope Mario. The message was simple, just one sentence: "Expand the impact as much as possible, so that everyone in the world knows what the consequences are for turning against our believers!"

This was actually inspired by the events in India that Jinro experienced. A grand blessing could certainly strengthen the divinity of the Papacy, but a “punishment” that descended like divine might was what would truly frighten many people!
So this time, George didn't come here for "peace negotiations" at all. On the contrary, he came here for only one purpose—to issue a warning!
George knew this, and the deputy director beside him was also aware of it. He nodded slightly, "I will notify Congress and the President's office to send an official document!"

"Then, Your Excellency George, I will await your triumphant return in Yangon!"

George nodded slightly, then turned to face the group behind him. "Inquisition, let's go!"

Behind him, a line of priests dressed in pure black stood up without making a sound and followed him.

They were holding Bibles in their hands, but what they carried on their backs were clearly weapons.

This is a Papal army created by Angus and trained and strengthened by George and Lyon, which is why they have the confidence to come here and issue a warning!

The two forces, knowing nothing about each other, slowly moved towards their predetermined goals!
