Chapter 248 Avici Hell (Bonus Chapter 28 for Monthly Tickets)

If the invitation from Buddhism is a special trial, then the representatives from various countries who participated in the invitation are the absolute core of the trial!

Wutian extended invitations to all countries in the world where Buddhism exists and where Buddhist culture exists, and representatives from dozens of countries followed one after another.

Not only did they come themselves, but they also brought their respective Buddhist representatives: representatives from Northern Buddhism, namely Central Asian Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Grassland Buddhism, and Japanese, Korean, European and American Buddhism; representatives from Southern Buddhism, Southeast Asian Buddhism; and some South Asian Buddhist representatives, all of whom were present.

If the people from these different countries all expressed a somber and heavy-hearted attitude, then the monks and lamas who accompanied them all had a rather relaxed attitude.

One could even say that the monks had a cheerful and outwardly radiant attitude.

It's understandable to think about it. In this era of extraordinary release, our own extraordinary beings, even the foremost disciple of the Buddha, Venerable Kasyapa, have already appeared. Doesn't this mean that the faith they uphold, the Buddhist doctrines they believe in, the scriptures, and the future are real?

Of course, some people are not in a good mood either, namely those who use the name of Buddhism to do their own evil deeds.

So none of these people came; instead, they sent their subordinates to this special city to check on the situation.

They dispatched a group of believers, or "inheritors," a group of people who were not well-regarded in their commercial empire but still retained a vibrant faith.

Such people exist in every religious sect, and they are the true source of a sect's survival.

Leaders and people with clear business acumen can be replaced easily, but those who inherit the core values can never be abandoned.

Therefore, these people also came to this country, looked at this city that was almost completely different, and expressed their feelings!
"Namo Amitabha Buddha, there is Buddhist intent in this city!" the senior monk from Japan exclaimed in surprise.

Because the airport staff in front of them were dressed in very simple, plain clothes, which is quite in line with the characteristics of Northern Buddhism, namely, simplicity and solemnity, which is completely different from the extravagant and decadent style of India they had seen before!

“Master is right!” Beside the senior monk was a high-ranking Thai monk, who was dressed much more luxuriously, but still had a kind and benevolent expression. “This is not my first time in this city, but the feeling it gives me is unlike anything I have ever experienced before!”

The conversation between the two drew nods of approval from those around them. Compared to many monks who rarely went out, diplomats from various countries seemed to have more authority to speak.

"Yes, it doesn't smell so bad here anymore!" the Slavic man from Russia said simply. "Although it's still very uncomfortable, at least I don't have to cover my mouth and nose anymore!"

“When I first came here, I wished I could wear an air filter, but now I can actually stand it!” Representative America also said.

“Because under the guidance of the Bodhisattva, this city is being restored to its ancient appearance!” said a monk in a robe before them. “The city will eventually become clean again, so please rest assured!”

"There are monks in Kolkata too?" The group looked at the host with some surprise.

"Yes, everyone, my Buddhist name is Du Xuan. I am a monk from Xuanzang Temple, and I have been sent by His Holiness to receive you!" The middle-aged monk put his hands together and bowed to them. "Amitabha!"

"Greetings, Master!" Everyone stepped forward to pay their respects, without displaying the arrogance often associated with people from the upper-class countries.

After all, just two days ago, that old immortal was still raging internationally, threatening to launch missiles to destroy the city, but it was all just talk, and he didn't even send out his fleet—of course, this was also related to the incident of his fleet exploding while using the toilet.

The atmosphere in the entire Indian Parliament every day was as heavy as if a mother had died, but no one dared to express any thoughts of peaceful coexistence or war.

After all, the enormous phantom of Buddha was still echoing in their minds, and that Asura was still lurking in the sky above the city. Would anyone dare to negotiate or attack him?

If this senior monk were to visit your city, wouldn't you be in a very difficult situation?
Therefore, under the deterrent effect of the "psychological nuclear weapon," no one dared to do anything naughty here.

However, some people dare to speak up and ask questions, such as those eminent monks with names and surnames.

"Master Duxuan, what is the purpose of the Venerable One's invitation to us this time?" someone asked. It was a lama from Da'e, so they could be considered to be from the same lineage.

"Amitabha, the Buddha said, it cannot be spoken!" The head monk shook his head with a smile, not revealing a single word. In fact, as one of the few legitimate monks in this city, Du Xuan was also quite bewildered, especially after arriving at Lion Camel Ridge after his dream, he became even more confused.

Because many of his masters and colleagues had turned into monsters, only a few of them who sincerely worshipped Buddha every day, and a few young novices in the courtyard, had not changed and remained monks.

They chose to worship Buddha and headed west, since everyone knows about Lion Camel Ridge, and the sacred mountain is just to the west, so they should be safe!

Sure enough, they survived without any problems.

Later, when he finally emerged, he encountered a Dalit man named Sur, and only then did he roughly understand what had happened in the city.

They also learned of a bodhisattva named Kinnara who came to the city and became its leader, and who was even at odds with the Buddha!

Of course, even if they disagree, it has nothing to do with these monks. Anyway, the Buddha won't blame them, so let's just leave it at that for now!
Those who have read Buddhist scriptures know that the Buddha was actually a very gentle and compassionate person. As long as you do not break the precepts, there is room for negotiation on many things.

So, after waking up, the people of Xuanzang Temple began to turn around almost without thinking!

They were all devout believers, and after so many years, they had finally seen the Arhats and Bodhisattvas. Naturally, they wanted to interact with them. The monk named Zhenluo did not object to them at all, but came to the temple and made them the hosts of this grand event.

The conflict between Buddhism and Taoism never affects the Buddhists under his command; this is Zhenluo's true nature.

"Everyone's here, so let's set off!" Du Xuan glanced at the crowd, exchanged a look with the monks beside him, and then led everyone onto some large buses that had been found in the Brahmin's house.

Anyway, there aren't many Brahmins left, and the whole community is open, so it would be a waste not to use it.

Once everyone was on the bus, Du Xuan stood up, took out a small bee from the front of the bus, and said with a smile, "Are you all ready? The bus to the Avici Hell is about to depart!"

"What?" Everyone was stunned when they heard this and immediately tried to get off the bus.

Is this a respectable place? You come here and immediately say you're taking us to hell? Or even the deepest hell?
In the past two days, due to the rise of Buddhism, everyone has learned about some Buddhist stories, and of course, they also know what the Avici Hell really represents. Isn't this going to take them all down with them to die?

Fortunately, Du Xuan had good control over the situation. Amidst the commotion, his voice still rang out clearly, "Amitabha, well done, well done! It was my fault. This journey to the Avici Hell was the will of Bodhisattva Zhenluo!"

"He will use his great power to take our souls to the eighteen levels of hell beneath the earth, to experience the feeling between life and death!"

"If anyone is unwilling, we will not force them; we will send them back after the event!"

Having heard this, everyone here is a smart person; who wouldn't understand what it means?

This clearly means that as long as they go to hell, they can meet that True Buddha!
What else is there to say? Let's go!
This is a top-tier, ruthless character who can hypnotize an entire city single-handedly; a true bodhisattva!
The monks and lamas present certainly wouldn't refuse, and the diplomats from various countries didn't give up either. Since they had to go to hell to see people, then they would go!
"Master, please have mercy and take us to see the True Luo Bodhisattva!" the crowd pleaded, showing no intention of giving up.

This is extraordinary! Even if you're going to hell, you should still take a look, right?
"Namo Kinnara Bodhisattva!" Du Xuansong chanted the Buddha's name, and a special dazzling light appeared, which made them fall asleep in the car.

The next second, endless fire, endless ice, endless sword flashes, and boundless malevolent ghosts seemed to appear around them, making everyone tremble with fear.

Then they saw a white-robed monk walking from the distant void:

"This humble monk, Zhenluo, welcomes everyone to Hell!"

P.S.: In Buddhism, besides countless Buddhas, there's also the Avici Hell that shakes all realms! Leading people towards good is a good topic, so evil must be severely punished!
