From the God of Lies to the Lord of All Worlds

Chapter 153 The So-Called White Left

Chapter 153 The So-Called White Left

On the street, Percival and many followers of the "Assadian Cult" were leading this group of ragged women toward their "church".

The churches of the Assadian cult are their headquarters. They have been operating for so long that they lack nothing and are safe enough to settle these unfortunate souls.

Moreover, everyone knows that although these women are currently unlucky, they will become the most loyal believers of the Aesir cult after they return to their families.

The existence of the berserker Percival and the witch Freya is not a secret at all; on the contrary, it is an open secret.

This event was crystal clear to the survivors.

Whether it was a man who charged through enemy lines despite being bullets, or a woman who used witchcraft to awaken the survivors from their ignorance, both of them emanated an energy called "willpower".

Freya didn't really understand this energy, but the crystal on her chest could be used to power it and help her do some things that witches could do, so she was looking for ways to increase this kind of energy.

Then she discovered that the prayers of believers and the initiation of new members into the denomination could amplify this energy, which naturally led her to be more proactive in missionary work.

Now, thanks to Percival's description, she also learned of another function: the unique ability to inspire berserkers.

"Could this be the legendary magic? Something as ancient as the gods, existing in the world as well as runes?"

As Freya was making a bewildered guess, she was stopped by a follower of the Aesir cult:
"Ms. Freya Carlson, our path has been blocked by a group of police officers!"

"Police?" Freya seemed surprised to hear this. "Why are these people, who never show up when something happens, here?"

The police in Malmö are not entirely useless, but they are certainly incompetent.

These police officers will never show up when you're being harmed, but once the harm is over, they'll take you to the police station—because they're too afraid to arrest the thugs.

Even when they do catch the perpetrators, they often offer them protection or leniency, which makes the residents of Malmö very resentful.

Freya shared this attitude, so she left Percival to watch over the group of survivors who were not in good condition, while she went to face the police herself.

"Madam, marches are not allowed here. You need to disband your ranks!" The lead policeman saw Freya being surrounded by people and guessed her status, so he said loudly.

“We’re not marching, we’re doing humanitarian aid!” Freya said, staring at the police officers. Her witch-like intuition told her something was amiss.

Upon hearing her words, the police officer in front of her did not react at all, but continued to shout, "Disband your ranks! No marching is allowed in the streets now!"

It's not that I don't understand, but rather that I'm looking for a reason to get in.

Freya understood. She looked at the police officers, and at the fear and greed in their eyes, and smiled. "I knew this gang wouldn't have any collaborators in the city. So it's you guys!"

Upon hearing this, the lead policeman's expression changed drastically. He drew his baton from his waist and shouted, "Prepare for battle! Someone is resisting arrest!"

He never intended to resolve things peacefully; it was all just an excuse, and Freya knew it perfectly well.

She could clearly sense the malice of the police officers and see the greedy look in their eyes at the survivors behind them. Of course, she could also guess why—it was nothing more than collusion between officials and criminals, the transfer of benefits, and the like. In a capitalist society, this was all too normal.

However, what is normal does not mean it is right. She, Freya, did not think it was right, nor did the Aesir cult!
Human life belongs to them, to the gods, not to these human traffickers.

So she made her move, taking out her wand once more and waving it lightly at the people in front of her.

The other police officers collapsed to the sides after this action, leaving only the man who had been negotiating with her standing there.

"Come on, tell me, what kind of business do you have with them, and who's behind you?"

Freya crossed her arms and looked at the still-standing policeman, saying softly, "I'm not a very patient person. If you don't want to experience pain and despair, you'd better behave!" As she spoke, she pointed to the policeman with the strongest malice beside her, and with another wave of her hand, the man's body, which had been slumped on the ground, curled up like a shrimp.

The pain was vividly displayed on his contorted face; the feeling of being in so much pain that even crying out was a luxury was chilling.

Her actions were truly terrifying, and coupled with her standard "witch" attire, it instantly deflated the initially courageous policeman.

He voluntarily went back to the church with the others and explained the whole story to them.

“Our actions were approved by the director, but the real big shot is Congresswoman Hannah Norie…”

This statement was certainly not voluntary on the sheriff's part, but rather induced by Freya, who had heard more detailed information:
"Human trafficking is a long-standing and highly profitable business, and many people have benefited from it, from police officers, gangsters, and brokers to police chiefs, members of parliament, and even prime ministers..."

"The big shots all know about this, and they've all benefited from it!"

"Congresswoman Hannah campaigned for them in Congress, providing them with protection and finding police as collaborators. The police acted as informants and protectors of gang locations, while the gangs carried out kidnappings, training, and trafficking, thereby reaping huge profits!"

"These profits support lawmakers in their elections, allowing them to continue pushing for bills that will allow the corporations and groups behind them to continue reaping profits!"

This sheriff clearly knows this system well. Judging from his age, he seems to want to set up such a chain of interests after retiring from his police position.

"It's all business?" Percival, who had just walked over to Freya, took a deep breath and said incredulously, "They say it's for women's rights, for free channels, for a greener environment—isn't it all for our own good?"

"For the sake of women's rights, sex work can be legalized and taxes can be levied on sex workers; free channels are justified because the bribes offered to these companies are high enough to allow them to reap greater profits; a green environment is, of course, justified because the name of the environment can be used to obstruct the listing and factory construction of many companies, thereby extorting huge profits..."

"The most profitable business right now is the refugee business, because refugees can get funding from Congress, which they can then line their own pockets..."

Upon hearing these words, both Freya and Percival, being commoners, fell silent.

No wonder their lives were getting worse and worse. We thought it was due to the global situation, but it turns out the biggest factor was the selfishness of these left-wing politicians!
What white leftist politicians, what shouting for freedom, rights and the future?
Ultimately, it's nothing more than a highly profitable business!

These people use these methods to brainwash ordinary people and fight for their rights. They look respectable, but in reality, they are just scheming and despicable!

They devoured the country's tax revenue, ate up the country's future, and ate up the welfare and lives of ordinary people. For their own pleasure, like a group of gluttons, they greedily feasted on and divided the country!

"Aren't they afraid that when they get old and lose their power, they will suffer a backlash?" Percival asked again.

Freya didn't even need to ask the sheriff to know the answer: "This country allows dual citizenship. They can simply eat them up and leave... And which country benefits the most from these issues?"

“America!” Percival uttered the word of a country, feeling a chill run through him.

What should we do if the politicians in this country are all traitors?
Freya, however, thought it was good news. "Then we'll have less of a burden when we clean them up, won't we?"

"The gods haven't issued any decrees, so who allowed them to act recklessly on this land?"

"The Vikings never had a true king. Any king who dares to ride on the backs of pirates should be prepared to be overthrown!"

"Well said, worthy descendants of the Vikings!" Just then, a voice rang out beside them.

The two turned around in surprise and saw the speaker, a man floating in the air.

"Don't be nervous, I think Valkyrie has already told you about my arrival!" the man said with a smile. "My name is Lova, a saint personally appointed by His Majesty Odin, and this city is my fiefdom!"

"I am furious that someone is harming my future believers in my kingdom!"
