Chapter 11 The Bowing Spirit

“That’s not actually a power, but a tangible crystal!” Alvin said. “On the continent of Dylan, we call it the Definition of God!”

"Definition?" Bai Yang asked curiously. "What does it mean?"

"It's... something that only gods can define, with special attributes attached to it. The essence of gods is all contained within it!"

Alvin's words sounded very abstract, and Bai Yang interpreted them in the same abstract way: "It's a kind of lie, but it's concrete, isn't it?"

“Yes!” Alvin nodded. “Because the divine spark lost the protection of the divine fire, it shattered itself when it passed through the world's crystal wall, and what it left behind is the trace crystal!”

"If it is a true deity who has ascended to the divine position, it doesn't really matter if there are such marks, because they themselves have the supreme power of definition, and the marks on these crystals can be removed at any time, but you can't yet!"

Bai Yang knew he was no match for the gods. He was merely a "false god" with divine status, lacking all four elements required for godhood, and therefore had no such ability.

If he can truly ascend to godhood, all these things will become his foundational authority.

However, Bai Yang had big ambitions. He did not want to ascend to godhood with the status of the God of Lies. What he wanted to ascend to was the true supreme position!

He wants to ascend to a great divine position as the god of stories or the creator!
"How many of these crystals are there?" Bai Yang asked. "When I traveled to this world, I remember only stopping in three places..."

“Yes, three places: the Arctic, Central Asia, and here,” Alvin said. “You need to retrieve them before the seekers from the Dylan continent arrive here, lest they attract the attention of the real gods.”

Bai Yang expressed his understanding, saying, "Then we can only hope that the war of the gods on the Dylan Continent will last a little longer, so that we can have more time!"

But of course, he couldn't place his hopes on others, so he needed to speed things up!
At this moment, the car slowly came to a stop, and the people inside gradually fell out.

The driver casually counted the heads, "Five, six, six... Yes, just six people, they've all gotten off."

He drove away, leaving a figure that vanished in the spot.

……

San Diego, west of the city.

Life in the slums seems not much different from before.

Meanwhile, the "Grey Wolf Gang," located at the southernmost tip of the western part of the city, still maintained its arrogant and haughty demeanor!

They drove some women toward the most terrifying "Red Mansion" in the area.

These women, all disheveled and of various races, were led into this red-painted building like piglets by a rope.

Outside, they could almost hear the mournful cries coming from inside.

Hearing these sounds, the women became even more frightened, but under the threat of guns, they had no choice but to go inside.

The fear on their faces was even more apparent in the darkness.

At that moment, the conversation between the gangsters began to rang out.

"These illegal immigrants are really unlucky. They just happened to run into this guy on our side. He has no job and is going to be deported..."

"Who says otherwise? If it weren't for our boss's kindness, they wouldn't be able to work in the Red Mansion, would they?"

"Are all these people illegal immigrants?"

"Who knows? We're near the Mexican border, what normal people could we possibly have here? If they arrest us, so be it! What can their police do about the Gray Wolf Gang?"

"makes sense……"

The two walked away, leaving only the mournful wails from the "Dream of the Red Chamber" echoing in their ears.

In the distance, an Indian man was calling out a name in his ancient and strange language in this area!
He walked over here, shouting more and more anxiously and panickedly, which naturally attracted the attention of the "Grey Wolf Gang" around him.

“Another one looking for someone? You’re in charge!” A man who looked like a manager patted the gang member next to him who was holding a gun.

“Tell them this isn’t some Los Angeles where you need to be wary of the police; this is a border city!” The gang member, a Black man, glared maliciously at the man and raised his gun. “Of course, sir!”

"Bang!" A gunshot rang out, and the man knelt down on one knee.

"Bang!" Another gunshot rang out, and the man fell to the ground.

The black gang members then stepped forward, looked at the strangely dressed man, and fired a shot into each of his hands.

The man groaned in agony on the ground, but the person who fired the shot showed him no mercy.

This scene silenced many of the onlookers who had been watching.
This is not just a bad taste, but also a warning to those around you!
Warn them that the Grey Wolves' ruthlessness works on anyone!
Soon, the people there dispersed, leaving only the man, who lay on the ground groaning.

He was bleeding out, and soon he didn't even have the strength to cry out anymore.

Meanwhile, out of sight, Bai Yang was coldly watching this scene.

"As expected, this gang is still as ruthless and evil as ever, truly pure evil!" Bai Yang said.

He was merely passing by the gang's headquarters when he was relentlessly pursued by a group of people until he reached the city center, where he barely managed to escape.

As for why he went to the town of Vespuchi, it was also related to the ruthlessness of those guys who could relentlessly capture people.

Now, seeing that these people are still the same, Bai Yang is relieved.

“This kind of gang is what defines authority and expansion!” he said slowly, looking at the man in front of him, gently leaning down and placing his hand on the man’s head.

"Let me see what you want..."

Ivan Ruiz is a man's name.

He was born on an Indian reservation in California, a man struggling to survive on this barren land.

His life was meaningless because of poverty and exclusion, as well as ignorance and stupidity.

Until one day, he found his true love, a girl from a neighboring tribe, Leila Winona.

Ivan liked the name because Lyra was a very gentle girl. They built a happy family and had a child.

He changed his previous aimless lifestyle, worked hard and saved a lot of money so that she could have a happy future.

Today, Leila wants to buy a pre-birth gift for their child.

Ivan was overjoyed. With the money he had saved up over the years working for white men, he took his wife's hand and arrived in San Diego.

But just half an hour earlier, during a shopping trip, he lost his wife's hand in a moment of carelessness, and he never held it again.

The reason he found this place was because he discovered the plant bracelet he had given to his wife, which had been discarded in a puddle at the intersection.

And now, he holds the bracelet in his hand, and even though his hand was broken, he has not let go!

"Kokata! Spear-wielder with burning crests! Forged a blood oath in the flint forest of our ancestors—let my charge become the wrath of the stars!"

Kokata is the name of the Mayan god of war and sacrifice, and also the name Ivan calls upon.

Bai Yang was quite surprised that the people of this ancient tribe still preserved such sacrificial customs!
He looked at the man, at the bracelet he was clutching tightly in his hand, and nodded slightly.

This man's willpower and suffering have reached the target!

"Then, as you wish!" Bai Yang gently tapped the bracelet, sending a wisp of divine power into it.

"Alvin, instill in him a blessed memory called Kokata, and then enhance him into a warrior from Mayan legend!"
