Middle Eastern tyrants
Chapter 57 "Using My Broken Body to Become a Blazing Flame"
Chapter 57 "Using My Broken Body to Become a Blazing Flame"
"Zion's crimes will be judged, and Ant will forever stand against the aggressors."
General Vasily flicked his cigarette ash: "Consult Gromyko about weapons. I'm just here to see an old friend. But if you want anything, mention my name and you can get a discount!"
The prince smiled and shook his head. Vasik explained that they met at a military exercise held in Masr.
"What? You haven't seen our movie about the Great Patriotic War?" General Vasily said with some regret, "The movie had a very good subject matter and casting, and it even had a role for me."
But in my opinion, the director portrayed the marshal too perfectly. He wasn't always so heroic; his first time on the battlefield was... well, never mind.
Lu Lin was stunned: "Is it really okay for you to make up stories about your own marshal like this?"
"What's there to be afraid of?" General Vasily shrugged. "At worst, he'll just make me carry manure. Anyway, he told the director of the film that Vasily's greatest strength is that he can carry manure quickly and well!"
Forehead.
Lu Lin found it difficult to express his feelings at that moment in words.
"Mi-sou-la-mi-sou~, that sounds like the tune." General Vasily was humming the movie theme song when he slapped his forehead in frustration: "Oh dear, I've really gotten rusty! Back in the army, I was the best trumpet player in the whole regiment!"
"Has Marshal Rokosov come this time?" Prince Muhammad asked.
“He’s here, but the Marshal hasn’t interfered in worldly affairs for a long time. This time, he’s just meeting with Seris’ old friend.” Vasily said, “As you know, the Marshal is very sentimental. Back when he was fighting against the Japanese invasion, he and Seris formed a deep revolutionary friendship.”
Seris? Revolutionary friendship?
When did Ant fight the Japanese alongside Seris?
Lu Lin's transmigrator radar activated. Could this General Rokosov also be a transmigrator?
The two then steered the conversation to the United Nations General Assembly. Passing the bill was not a problem, but whether Zion was willing to return the territory was another matter entirely.
Vasily said, "I'm sorry, my old friend, apart from weapons assistance, there's really nothing else Ant can do to help."
The Middle East may appear to contain astonishing amounts of oil, but in reality it is a huge quagmire where even major powers can easily find themselves trapped if they are not careful.
Therefore, the practices of Britain, France, and the United States are all about supporting their own leaders in the Middle East and taking the opportunity to make money.
Zion seized upon this crucial point, bribing other Western powers with oil to keep them neutral while it slowly absorbed the resources it had acquired through invasion.
"So, in that case, the only way to defeat Zion is for the Arab countries to do it themselves."
General Vasily paused for a moment, then slowly said, "I have always believed that a great nation can always produce true heroes in times of crisis."
But whenever the abyss approaches, there are always those who tear through the darkness—they may be farmers, scholars, or even prisoners, but they stake their lives on the table of fate, just to prove that this land deserves the word 'freedom'.
I witnessed all of this firsthand, and I'm certain it will happen to you too, my friends.
At that moment, the secretary came in, carrying the latest telegram.
"Should I excuse myself?" Vasily asked.
When Prince Muhammad opened it, he found it was an apology letter from Hashim.
He unfolded the letter, which stated that Zion promised to return to the west bank of the Hashim River in exchange for Hashim's withdrawal from the Arab League military cooperation, and hoped that the allied countries would understand.
This was exactly what they had guessed at the meeting.
"News has also come from Surria." The secretary handed over another document: "Zion will withdraw from Damascus in exchange for the current government remaining neutral."
This is the second one.
If this is the case for these large Arab countries, then it goes without saying that it is the case for those smaller, already wavering nations.
They're probably already negotiating with Zion privately.
When idealism is shattered by reality, when Arab countries realize that accusations alone cannot reclaim lost land, when they realize that more and more countries are choosing to stand by and watch—
Even they themselves are slowly beginning to fall into self-doubt.
Does doing this really make sense?
"Can uniting together really make Zion back down?"
What if we had chosen to accept Zion's terms back then?
"."
These leaders of Arab countries are also individuals, and they themselves bear the responsibility for the defeat in the war.
Perhaps one day he will wake up in bed to find his rule overthrown and a noose hanging over him.
Therefore, from a selfish perspective, accepting Zion's conditions would both win back public support and consolidate rule.
If handled properly, failure can be turned into a glorious victory!
And the only thing they have to give up is...
It was just a trivial betrayal, like those that had happened on this land for thousands of years, nothing more. Prince Mohammed looked out the window; he already sensed that the united front among the Arab states was crumbling.
However, a bell rang at that moment.
It started raining outside, and General Vasily drew back the curtains, squinting, "The United Nations is flying its flag at half-mast."
Flying flags to half-mast and tolling funeral bells signifies the passing of a current head of state from a member state.
"Which country?"
".Masr.
Lu Lin was stunned for a moment. Masil?
President Ferdinand has passed away?
"Even when a country's president dies, the United Nations generally does not ring the bell, unless there are special circumstances."
Vasily immediately stood up: "Sorry, old friend, I have to go now. It seems a new storm is brewing."
After saying that, he put on his coat and quickly left the hotel.
"The world is about to change," old Muhammad murmured.
Lu Lin suddenly remembered what General Vasily had said earlier.
A great nation always produces true heroes in times of crisis.
“My brothers, by the time you hear these words, my body will have turned to ashes.”
A deep and familiar voice rang out from a loudspeaker on the streets of Cairo:
"We are now at a crossroads, and this is not the first time we have faced such a choice."
Nineteen years ago, I watched Zion's bulldozers roll over the clinic in the Rafah refugee camp, and the people of Arafat awaited our aid.
Nine years ago, the streets of Carthage were in chaos as army tanks rolled into the devastated city.
Fortunately, we all know which path is the right one.
But we never chose it.
Votes, the expectations of the people and parties, our fear of failure, the ease of bullying the weak over confronting the strong, and the ease of compromise over perseverance.
And now we have once again reached a crossroads in the Arab world.
But I have to tell you that this time we have no choice but to leave.
What Zion wanted was never a few villages or a few shipping lanes.
What they want is our dignity.
It is our history.
It is our future.
It is the right of Arabs to survive on this land!
And today, I want to tell you—yes, we have indeed failed for the time being.
But we cannot stop resisting, because the whole world is watching to see which path the Arabs will choose.
If we abandon ourselves and choose to make peace with Zion, then the world will not stand on the side of the Arab countries.
Now, the only thing we can do is unite and fight back against the invaders.
I know this battle will be arduous and the odds of victory are slim, but even so, we will fight on until the very last moment before we win!
Flames are my sword, and ashes will be my battle banner.
We must reclaim the dignity we have lost;
We must reclaim the lost land;
We must drive the Jews out of our land!
We will raise the flag of victory atop the Tel Aviv Prime Minister's office building! Until we witness the birth of a new world!
We will fight them beneath the minaret of the mosque!
We will fight them on every page of their textbooks!
We will fight them in every grain of sand of historical memory!
Remember—Arabs never surrender!
On May 21, 1387 AH, President Ferdinand Masr set himself on fire in Tahrir Square, illuminating the rainy sky over Cairo.
The whole nation mourns.

P.S.: I've recently received a lot of feedback from readers who were confused by the countries mentioned in the book, so I've made a list of names and pinned it to the top of the comments section. Feel free to take a look if you're interested.
I did this because I was afraid of being banned QAQ. Here's a little anecdote: this book was accepted when I submitted it internally, but it was banned when it was uploaded to the database because it contained too many sensitive words.
Finally, thanks to the editor's help, this article is finally available to everyone. I apologize for any unpleasant reading experience it may have given you.
