Chapter 40 A Reassuring Peace of Mind

Chapter 40 A Reassuring Peace of Mind

The few days passed in the blink of an eye amidst the intensive preparations.

When the autumn wind, carrying chill and fine dust, swept across the high dome of Yanjing Station once again, it had only been a little over a month since Qin Yuan last stepped onto the K3 train from here.

But the scene before us is completely different.

The huge waiting room was packed with people, and the noise was as loud as boiling porridge.

The air was filled with the smells of sweat, cheap tobacco, and a huge buzzing of various dialects, along with a sense of excitement and anxiety about heading towards unknown wealth.

This is hardly a ride.

They clearly seem to be a group of people in the entire city with the strongest sense for wealth, gathering here to embark on an expedition!

Qin Yuan, dressed in a well-fitting black jacket, stood with his hands behind his back at a slightly elevated position on the edge of the crowd, observing everything.

Behind him, Binzi, Gangzi, and Magan'er, like three taut strings, were leading a few trusted underlings they had temporarily found, carrying out the final preparations in a tense but orderly manner.

The ground was piled high with snakeskin bags, thick nylon bags, and rough woven bags, each marked with a different number in bright red paint.

"Check the serial numbers carefully! Verify the list and numbers!" Binzi commanded in a gruff voice. "If everything is correct, distribute the bags!"

He called out a name and a number, and someone waiting nearby immediately stepped forward, took the heavy bag with the same number, and carefully joined the queue.

These are all people who were screened by Old Zhang and received their invitations after paying a baggage fee.

"Wei Guo!" When it was Wu Wei Guo's turn, Bin Zi's voice softened a bit.

When Binzi and Gangzi went to Tianjin to pick up the goods, Wu Weiguo helped them a bit.

After learning that he was the young man on the train.

Binzi and Gangzi also became more familiar with him.

He wasn't originally among the people carrying the backpacks, but he brought back quite a lot of goods from Tianjin.

More than 1,300 wool coats and more than 3,500 pairs of jeans.

A total of 120 packages.

It far exceeded previous expectations.

Wu Weiguo volunteered to help.

Qin Yuan did not refuse.

But Wu Weiguo absolutely refused to accept that hundred yuan.

Now, I hear my own name.

Wu Weiguo immediately stepped forward from the queue and greeted him, "Brother Bin."

He also carried two homemade canvas bags on his back, which were bulging with fifty sheepskin coats.

This is the cargo he's going to dump this time.

Qin Yuan gave him inspiration.

If Qin Yuan is going to sell the sheepskin coats, why can't he?
Hongxing Factory was practically Wu Weiguo's own business. He could easily borrow fifty sheepskin coats from Zhao Guanglin to do business.

Binzi glanced at him and asked with concern, "Weiguo, can you lift it?"

Wu Weiguo smiled easily: "Brother Bin, this is nothing. I'm not bragging, but I've been carrying 50 pounds of weight on my back and running 10 kilometers since I was a kid, and I don't even get out of breath."

As he spoke, he lifted the nylon bag in front of him with one foot and held it firmly with the other.

However, as soon as he got his hands on it, Wu Weiguo realized that it was surprisingly heavy.

It weighs at least as much as fifty or sixty pairs of jeans.

Looking at the packages scattered all over the ground, he was slightly surprised and secretly marveled at the sheer volume of goods transported by the Far East Trading Company.

He squeezed next to Qin Yuan, looking at the scene before him that was a hundred times more chaotic and noisy than last time, and couldn't help but ask in a low voice, "Brother Qin, with so many people and so many bags, what are we going to do with them after they get on the bus? Where are we going to put them? We can't just pile them up in the aisle, can we?"

He recalled the sight of people packed tightly together on the train last time, and felt a chill run down his spine.

Qin Yuan's sharp gaze swept over the chaotic yet orderly scene. Without turning his head, he calmly said, "After boarding, put everything in carriage number six."

"Carriage number six?" Wu Weiguo was stunned. "That...that's a sleeper carriage, isn't it?"

“Yes,” Qin Yuan finally turned his head to look at him, a barely perceptible smile curving his lips, “I bought all the berths in the entire carriage.”

Wu Weiguo took a deep breath, his eyes widening in surprise!
Chartering an entire sleeper car? Just for…carrying cargo?!

Such a bold move and courage were beyond his wildest imagination!
This is hardly a solo shopper service.
What's the difference between this and buying a wagon to transport goods?
He looked at Qin Yuan's calm profile and felt that this big brother from Yanjing had already surpassed the ceiling of his own understanding!

Purchasing freight cars requires a quota, so they simply booked all the sleeper berths.

Only Brother Qin could come up with such an unconventional method.

Under his gaze.

The nearly one hundred packages were distributed quickly. Most of the people who bought the invitations were willing to help Qin Yuan carry the goods onto the truck.

After all, it's rare for traders going to Moscow to go alone; most of them are in groups of three or five.

I bought an invitation for 1,800 yuan, gathered a few of my childhood friends and a few of my underlings, and with my goods, I recklessly embarked on my journey to K3.

By having one or two people carry goods for Qin Yuan, they could not only earn 100 yuan, but also receive safe food and lodging, market guidance, and even certain protection for their goods and personal safety provided by Qin Yuan in Moscow.

These side benefits are what they really want.

After all, none of them had ever been to Moscow before.

Let alone Russian, they might not even be able to distinguish east from west, south from north.

With Qin Yuan, this "senior," guiding them, there will be fewer troubles.

"Woo——"

As a sharp, long whistle rang out, everyone's nerves seemed to be ignited!

"Tickets are being checked! Ticket checking has begun!"

As the train attendants checked the tickets, the surging crowd instantly turned into a torrent, rushing towards the ticket gates!

Shouts, shoving, and urging filled the air!
"Brothers, hold on! Keep up!" Gangzi shouted, charging ahead like a general to clear the way.

The skinny figure moved nimbly through the crowd, accurately guiding those carrying numbered bags towards carriage number six.

Binzi, like a pillar in the middle, led his men to protect Qin Yuan's core position, vigilantly scanning the surrounding turbulent currents.

Wu Weiguo was also swept up by the huge crowd, his blood boiling. He gripped his large bag tightly in each hand, and tucked the No. 076 nylon bag under his arm. He used all his strength to push forward with the flow of people.

Passing through the chaotic platform, the massive green K3 train lay like a steel behemoth on the tracks.

The crowd quickly formed a vortex at the doors of their respective carriages.

At the door of carriage number six, Qin Yuan stood checking the number and the name of the person carrying the cargo.

"Magan, call someone and have them deliver all the goods over here."

The skinny guy immediately agreed, sticking his head out of the carriage door and shouting the numbers at the top of his lungs:

"Far East Import and Export Trading Company, here it is!"

Gangzi and Binzi were the first to rush forward.

One by one, the people who received their packages crowded to the door of carriage number six, struggling to unload the heavy burdens on their shoulders and handing the numbered bags into the carriage.

Magan was inside to provide support, while Gangzi and Binzi, like human cranes, started stacking goods without even looking up!
Qin Yuan stood outside the door, saying "Thank you for your hard work" in a deep voice, while cautiously scanning the delivery person's condition and the surrounding environment.

Each time I receive a package, I quickly check the serial number.

Wu Weiguo squeezed his way to the door with great effort, first throwing his two large canvas bags into the carriage, then struggling to hand over the 076 nylon bag under his arm: "Brother Qin!"

"Weiguo! Well done!" Qin Yuan took the heavy bag and patted Wu Weiguo on the shoulder. "Come on up and give us a hand! We need strong men inside!"

"Okay!" Without saying a word, Wu Weiguo grabbed the handrail and climbed up into the carriage.

The scene before him made him gasp again!
This sleeper car, which should have been clean and quiet, is now completely different!
The bunk beds were piled high with all sorts of bags.

Binzi and Gangzi, along with two other strong young men hired temporarily, were like industrious worker ants, quickly passing and stacking the heavy, numbered bags!
Burlap sacks, nylon bags, woven bags... were quickly piled up like bricks in a city wall!
They fit together perfectly, rising at a visible speed, straight from the floor to the ceiling!
In just a short while, the problem spread from the middle of the carriage to both ends, with the windows being blocked layer by layer.

Even the rear of the carriage was completely covered with dark blue fabric, leaving not a single gap!

An overwhelming sense of fulfillment, almost suffocating, arises from an abundance of resources.

Wu Weiguo stared in disbelief.

Compared to that, he felt that the two bags of goods he was carrying were just a small matter.

"Weiguo, come this way!" Binzi wiped his sweat and shoved a bag over. "Pile them on top! Stack them neatly!"

Wu Weiguo suddenly woke up and immediately responded.

He took the bag, his arm muscles bulging, and with a low growl, he easily lifted the bag, weighing over a hundred pounds, to near the ceiling, where he placed it steadily on top.

Time passed slowly, and the noise outside was gradually blocked out of the truck, while the cargo inside the truck was almost full.

Three thousand five hundred pairs of jeans, two thousand sheepskin coats, and more than one hundred and twenty heavy bags were all taken, but in the end, only one lower berth closest to the carriage connection was left unclaimed.

That was the only place where I could sleep.

The air inside the carriage was filled with a complex mix of smells from new fabrics, leather, and sweat, and the temperature was noticeably higher due to the sealed environment.

Everyone was panting heavily, their clothes soaked with sweat.

But this exhaustion carries a reassuring sense of peace.
