Chapter 65 Mysterious Tentacles
Chapter 65 Mysterious Tentacles (Please continue reading)
When Haven sneaked in, the fight had already broken out inside. Seeing that he couldn't help much, he pressed himself against the wall and began to survey the space.
Those two scoundrels were right after all. This crow-like witch who kept wailing like a banshee was indeed very perverted. Looking at the naked man lying in front of her with a large hole in his heart, she subconsciously moved to the side.
Hevante glanced at Serena, who was firing like a machine gun, and clicked his tongue in amazement. With that kind of firepower, she could have easily pushed them aside earlier. However, he remembered that Serena said something was interfering with her. Since the Raven Witch was pinned in the corner and couldn't lift her head, he had to find it quickly.
On the other side, the Crow Witch, unable to lift her head due to Serena's dense barrage of arcane missiles, used one hand to support a magic shield while the other hand reached out and pulled off the black crystal necklace around her neck.
'Aguria de la Simi~~~~'
As the incantation was uttered, the black crystal necklace instantly exploded, and the fragments of the crystal were directly absorbed into the body of the Crow Witch. A black gale erupted directly from the Crow Witch's body, blowing the silver-haired girl who was floating in mid-air directly against the wall.
Haven, who had originally planned to search discreetly, was also slammed against the wall by a sudden, powerful gust of air. He struggled to push away the naked male corpse pressing on his stomach and looked toward the source of the gale.
"Holy crap! Is everyone this fickle these days? They transform at the drop of a hat."
Originally an old woman with a withered and dry body, the Crow Witch grew from 1.5 meters to over 2 meters tall after being stimulated by an unknown black crystal necklace. Dark red crystals appeared on many parts of her body, accompanied by countless pustules oozing black liquid.
"Serena, did she become like this last time too?"
Serena, who had floated up again, shook her head.
"She looks pretty fierce. Can you beat her?"
Haven, who was slowly moving towards the stone gate, asked in a low voice:
"Um"
Before Havent could even explain the plan, the girl's pale blue magic shield instantly changed color, and a large amount of orange-red light quickly merged into it. As the girl made a gesture resembling Tien Shinhan's Solar Flare, a basketball-sized orange-red fireball rapidly formed.
Sensing the dangerous aura emanating from the fireballs in Serena's hands, Haven quickly took three steps at a time and prepared to run downstairs.
"Wait, Serena, don't blow me up."
But before Havent could reach the stone gate, sensing danger, the Raven Witch's entire body glowed with a dark purple light, and she opened her mouth wide, sending a dark purple energy ball the size of a cantaloupe flying towards the silver-haired girl.
A loud bang was heard.
A powerful airflow swept through the enclosed space. Haven, who hadn't managed to escape in time, was blown onto the ceiling. His facial features flattened under the pressure of the airflow. Just as Haven was about to suffocate and faint from lack of air, a warm current enveloped him.
Having recovered, Haven took a few deep breaths and turned to look. He saw Serena's hand radiating pale blue magic, lifting him into the air.
Will, are you alright?
"It's okay, put me down."
Having landed on the ground, Haven looked at Serena, who was once again radiating pale blue magic, and his eyes practically sparkled with admiration.
"Holy crap, that's incredible! She's practically a superhero!"
Watching the flames slowly rise, he asked the girl...
"You took care of her?"
Serena, floating in mid-air, frowned, her eyes fixed on the burning fire.
"No, she's still alive."
Just as the girl finished speaking, a sharp roar came from the fire. A black sound wave flashed, and the burning flames were instantly blown into pieces. A figure covered in black smoke stood up from the fire.
"This guy is really tenacious!"
Looking at the crow witch emerging from the fire, Haven couldn't help but sigh. Her feathers were almost completely burned off, and under the scorching heat of the flames, she looked like a burnt, pustular chicken.
The old woman, Crow Witch, glared resentfully at the two people standing opposite her.
"Heretics! Heretics! You damned bastards. I will make you pay a heavy price."
With that, he roared and charged onto the altar.
"Great Mora"
Your humble and devout believer will give his life for you.
Your teachings are not to be profaned, and I will use your power to put to death all these damned heretics.
"Take out their hearts and offer them on your altar."
After roaring, it fell straight down towards the altar in the center of the room, and the strangely shaped tentacle in the center of the altar pierced through the body of the Crow Witch.
The crow witch's dark and viscous blood flowed all over the altar. Seeing the bizarre scene before him, Haven kept patting the girl's arm.
"Serena! What are you doing! Stop spacing out and finish him off!"
Seeing Serena standing still without moving, Haven had no choice but to grit his teeth and take out a magic scroll from his spatial ring.
As the magic was activated, a bright red fireball shot towards the raven hag lying on the altar.
However, the explosion and flames that Haven had anticipated did not occur. Instead, the fireball vanished into thin air a meter away from the altar.
Seeing the scene before him, Haven's scalp began to tingle. He grabbed Serena's arm and tried to escape, but the girl seemed to be frozen in place.
"Serena! Serena!"
What's wrong? We have to run, I feel like something's not right.
Just as Haven was about to pick up the silver-haired girl and run away, a sudden change occurred.
The crow witch, who was originally lying on the altar, suddenly swelled up on her back, as if something was about to burst out from her back.
puff puff~
With several disgusting cracking sounds, five or six tentacles covered in eyes and emitting a blackish-green glow emerged from behind the Crow Witch. Supported by the tentacles, the Crow Witch, with a large hole in her chest, rose again.
"Cheep~~~~~~"
Heretics, repent before the great Mora.
Looking at the raven hag who resembled Doctor Octopus, Haven's hair stood on end. Serena, standing beside him, seemed to have crashed, not knowing what was wrong with her.
He quickly grabbed the girl by the waist and hoisted her onto his shoulder, facing the approaching crow witch.
'Voice, Sloth, Da'
The unyielding power of the Dragon Language magic rapidly gathered in Haven's chest, and the powerful force of the blow slammed the Crow Witch directly against the wall.
Taking this opportunity, Haven began to use his rehearsal abilities to simulate escape plans.
"Fuck!!!!!"
A sudden, intense headache caused Havel, who was carrying the girl, to faint on the ground. The originally colorful space quickly faded, turning into black and white.
Ah~~~~~~~~~
An interesting soul has emerged!
Hello, my name is Hermaeus Mora!
"What should I call you, child?"
