Chapter 121 Alice, the Red Dragon Princess

Chapter 121 Alice, the Red Dragon Princess

Seeing Anne standing there stubbornly without saying a word, Haven didn't take it to heart and turned to introduce her to Uri:
"This is Anne, and this is Miss Ully."

Uri looked at the thin, round-faced little girl with curiosity, especially since Haven seemed to know her well as soon as she entered the classroom, and sat down next to her right away.

Anne listened to Haven's introduction, timidly greeted Ully, and then fell silent. After all, whether in terms of temperament, appearance, or clothing, this beautiful young lady was far superior to an ordinary girl like herself.

"Havent, is she your friend?"

Seeing Ully's unusual curiosity about Anne, Haven scratched his head and replied;
"Well, I guess so. Annie is also a student at the school. A few days ago, I went to the library to look for books. Annie was working as a supervisor at the library's front desk. Later, a few minor nobles from who-knows-where caused her trouble, and I helped her out. That's how we got to know each other."

After hearing Haven's explanation, Uri secretly breathed a sigh of relief and then gave Annie a sweet smile.

"Let's go then, let's see what's going on outside. I didn't expect Ferrer to actually come and acknowledge her. Uli, what impression do you have of this little princess?"

Uli thought for a moment and then shook her head.

"No, I only know that the little princess is named Alice. She is the child of Emperor Frederick IV and Empress Catherine. She is deeply loved by His Majesty. However, this little princess has never appeared in public much, so I don't know what kind of person she is."

Seeing that neither of the two women intended to leave, he prepared to depart on his own. He had originally arranged to meet Cuban and Lorry today to go to a great place and watch an exciting show.

Now that there are two more tagalongs, it seems there's no way around it. Maybe we should find a place to eat later. Haven thought about the rest of the itinerary in his mind as he walked towards the classroom door.

The three had just stepped out of the Emilia building when Haven was about to ask the two ladies what they wanted to eat when Uri let out a gasp.

Haven instinctively looked up, gazing ahead. The next moment, he froze, stunned by what he saw: a red dragon soaring in the sky directly in his direction!

Compared to the legendary dragons described in books, this red dragon's body was not particularly large; it was probably still in its infancy, much smaller than the red dragon controlled by the Church of Death.

But it was still awe-inspiring enough, after all, it was a living dragon, still flapping its wings. This young red dragon was about seven or eight meters long, and its wingspan was more than ten meters wide when spread out. At this moment, its wings, covered with red scales, were flapping up and down incessantly, bringing with them gusts of wind that howled past.

The young dragon was covered in blood-red scales that shimmered brilliantly in the afterglow of the setting sun, like a raging fire. Its slender neck turned from time to time, and it would suddenly spew out a burst of scorching flames. Everyone's attention was drawn to the huge wings of the red dragon that hovered in mid-air.

Suddenly, a small head peeked out from where the young red dragon's wings and neck met, intently examining the crowd below, as if trying to find something.

Standing below, Haven strained to look up and could clearly see that the small head belonged to a girl about his age. Her long, fiery red hair flowed in the wind, almost perfectly blending with the dragon's color, as if she were a part of it. Her fair, snow-white face was as delicate as porcelain, and even from several meters away, Haven could feel the noble aura emanating from the girl.

The red-haired girl, perched on the back of the young red dragon, saw the three people walking out of the school building. After confirming that it was the same person as Havent and Uri with purple hair and white hair respectively, she smiled slightly and revealed a playful smile.

Reaching out, I gently patted the neck of the young red dragon beneath me. Upon receiving the command, the red dragon let out a deep and powerful roar, then flapped its wings powerfully. Accompanied by gusts of wind, the young red dragon's still quite large body slowly descended from the air.

As the red dragon drew closer to the ground, the crowd standing below was finally able to see the full form of this high-level magical beast more clearly.

Even though it was just a juvenile red dragon, the aura it exuded was enough to awe and instill fear. Its fiery red scales shimmered with dazzling light, and its golden pupils, as bright and intense as burning candlelight, were fixed on Havent. Suddenly being stared at by such a pair of oppressive eyes, Havent felt a chill run down his spine, as if he had instantly become the prey.

The young red dragon's gaping maw contained a row of fine, snow-white, and steel-sharp teeth. These teeth reflected a cold white light under the sunlight. After licking its teeth with its long, scarlet tongue, the red dragon lowered its head.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, the red-haired girl gracefully leaped off the red dragon's back, blooming like a red lotus in the air.

A light red tea dress swayed gently in the wind, with the left slit plunging high to her thigh. As the girl moved, it revealed her fair and delicate thighs, as smooth as mutton fat jade. A pair of light brown straight boots tightly hugged the girl's slender and shapely calves, perfectly outlining the softness and smoothness of her leg lines.

As the red-haired girl drew closer, Haven's first thought was that with so many spikes on the red dragon's back, he wondered if sitting on it would prick his butt.

"You're Haven?"

The red-haired girl walked up to Havent, looked up at Will, and asked. At that moment, the young red dragon followed the girl up the steps, its massive head emerging from the girl's shoulder, its golden eyes staring intently at Will.

"Yes, I am Haven. And you are?"

Huh? ~Ptooey! ~Don't do that!~

Haven was about to answer the girl's question when the red dragon sniffed him and then stuck out its wet tongue to lick him. Caught off guard, Haven stumbled from the lick, and the bangs that were hanging down the left side of his cheek were licked all the way to the back of his head.

"Ah! Audaweiying, what are you doing? How could you do this?!"

The red-haired girl's thoughts were disrupted by her dragon's unexpected movement, and she hurriedly grabbed Odawiying's horns and began to pull backward. However, she was too weak, and the dragon's head did not move at all.

Havent, who had been licked to the ground by the red dragon, plopped down on the steps. He pressed one hand against the red dragon's mouth and wiped the drool off his face with the other, looking speechlessly at the dog-like red dragon. After a flurry of activity, Havent finally managed to distance himself from the red dragon again.

"Hey, what do you want from me? You don't want me to come lick your little dragon puppy, do you?"

Haven looked at the girl who was gripping the dragon horns with both hands and exchanging blows, and asked again:
"Wait a minute~ wait a minute~"
"Audawei Ying, listen to me. We clearly agreed on what to do today. If you do this again, I won't take you out next time."

The girl finally managed to subdue the red dragon, then turned around, panting, and shielded it behind her.
"Havent Hyland, is that it? Do you know who I am?!"

The girl calmed herself down, then put her hands on her hips and said:
"I don't know~"

"You know, huh? You don't know???"

The red-haired girl walked up to Will angrily, and pointed her pale finger at Haven's chest.

"You rude fellow. My name is Alice Hena Aria Uriels..."

Hmph~ Now you know, right~

Having said that, the red-haired girl Alice crossed her arms and tilted her head, waiting to see Havent's reaction.

Listening to the red-haired girl rattle off a whole bunch of nonsense, Haven looked at the girl in front of him blankly, scratched his head and still couldn't react. However, Uri, who was standing next to him, widened her eyes instantly when she heard the girl's name, and then bowed.

"Your Highness, Uri Greetings!"

Haven turned and looked down at Uri, who was half-bowing beside him, and then realized:

"Are you a little princess?"

The red-haired girl let out a soft hum when she heard that Haven finally knew who she was.

"Now you know, don't you? Hurry up and bow to this princess."

Looking at Princess Alice's haughty expression, Haven rolled his eyes and casually gave a gesture of respect.

"What brings Your Highness here?"

"Did you beat up my cousin?" When it came to serious matters, Alice instantly switched forms, exuding an aggressive aura.

"Your Highness is joking. Five of them ganged up on me. How can you say I assaulted them? They were the ones who assaulted me, aren't you right?"

Alice touched her chin, about to nod, when she suddenly realized that she was there to stand up for her cousin and had almost been fooled by this handsome guy.

"No, Freyr's head is swollen like a pig's head, and you knocked out all his teeth, yet you're still standing here perfectly fine. How can you say they beat you up!"

Seeing the Red Dragon Princess react quickly, Haven scratched his nose awkwardly, thinking to himself, "This little girl isn't stupid after all; she's not so easy to fool!"

"It was an accident. My friend Frey wanted to invite Ms. Uli, who was sitting next to me, to dinner that day, but Ms. Uli was quite concerned about her figure and didn't want to eat."

As for me, I just overheard their conversation by chance. I was really looking forward to the restaurant that Freyr mentioned, so I asked Freyr about it.

Unexpectedly, Freyer didn't sit properly and slipped and fell to the ground. I was the one who very kindly helped him up.

Seeing Alice looking at him with suspicion, Haven, who had been spouting nonsense, continued guiltily:
"Of course, there was definitely some misunderstanding. After class, Freyr and the other classmates said they would take me to the restaurant, but unfortunately I had something to do that evening, so I couldn't go. And then... and then, Fredo warmly invited me..."
It's all because the floor in the school building corridor was slippery. Freyer slipped and fell, bumping right into my fist. A few other students tried to help him up, but the floor was just too slippery. I have to criticize our cleaning staff here; they were incredibly responsible. Then, several other students accidentally bumped into different parts of my body. You see, it was all an accident, all a misunderstanding.

Alice stared in shock at Haven's rambling nonsense. She had never seen anyone so serious about talking such nonsense before.

At this moment, Freyr and his group squeezed out from the crowd, all five of them with bruises and swollen faces, their bodies wrapped in bandages.

"Cousin, don't listen to that pretty boy's nonsense, he's just playing you."

Having gotten carried away with his conversation, Haven blurted out a reply without thinking.
"I didn't play!"

The atmosphere suddenly became warm, and Alice blushed instantly, spreading from her neck to her entire face.

A large crowd gathered in front of the Emilia building. The young red dragon, Odavian, lay on the ground, idly swishing its tail. It couldn't understand why Alice wouldn't let it approach that fragrant person.

As Haven launched into a rapid-fire Q&A session, the atmosphere became a little awkward. The onlookers stared at each other, feeling like they were the ones who should be walking away, but their feet seemed rooted to the spot and wouldn't budge.

Seeing Alice's slightly flushed face, the guilty Haven dared not say anything more and could only glare fiercely at Freyr, which scared the chubby little ball into instinctively hiding behind his companion who was using a cane.

"Uh, well, that's not what I meant."

As soon as he finished speaking, Haven couldn't help but want to slap himself. How did he end up making things worse? Damn it, Haven, Haven, why did you have to spout such nonsense at a time like this?

"Ah~~~"

Princess Alice, the Red Dragon, let out a piercing scream!

"Audawayin~ Bite him!!!"

The young red dragon, who was playing by blowing dirt on the ground with its nostrils, raised its head in a daze and looked at the red-haired girl. Its dragon face was very anthropomorphic and looked a little blank.

Alice turned around and saw the red dragon looking at her with a puzzled expression. She was furious and slapped the red dragon's cheek hard, pointing her right finger at Will.

“Audaweiying, go bite him, he’s bullying me.”

Red Dragon's eyes lit up, and it puffed out two puffs of hot air from its nose before excitedly crawling towards Haven.

Seeing the red dragon charging towards him menacingly, Haven instinctively crossed his arms to block and retreat, but he didn't expect the red dragon to crawl so fast that he was caught off guard and knocked to the ground.

The triumphant red dragon then stuck out its wet tongue and began licking Haven again, its thick tail swaying back and forth.

The crowd of onlookers exchanged glances, wanting to say something but restrained by the princess's status. Some, unable to contain themselves, turned away and chuckled secretly. Hearing the scattered laughter from the crowd, Alice's blush, which had just faded, immediately returned, her ears turning as red as if they were about to bleed.

Feeling a little embarrassed, Alice stomped her right foot angrily, strode forward, grabbed Odawiying's dragon horn, and pulled it to the side, but to no avail. Odawiying continued to lick Havent, looking so comfortable that the dragon's eyes were half-closed.

"Adasimo Askola Uvin"

As Alice uttered an obscure command, a huge magic circle formed in mid-air. In the next few breaths, it transformed into a portal crackling with blue electric arcs. Odawiying, who had been lying on Havent, floated up and quickly passed through the portal. After Odawiying passed through, the portal flickered a few times before turning into specks of starlight and dissipating into the air.

Having finally escaped the red dragon's licking attacks, Haven lay on the ground looking utterly hopeless. After a long while, he rolled over and got up, staring blankly at Alice.

Alice looked at Haven, who was now soaking wet, with a slightly embarrassed expression, then remembered that she had come here on important business. She coughed twice and continued:

"Well, now you know how powerful this princess is, right?"

"Yes, you're quite something. I almost got licked to death. Are you a dragon or a dog?"

Hearing that Haven still had the mind to criticize her, Alice glared at him angrily, then said fiercely:

"Then you don't need to worry about it. You probably already know how powerful I am, right? So tell me, what are we going to do about the fact that you beat up my cousin?"

Seeing that Alice seemed to have Havent under her control, Freyr and his group immediately straightened their backs and ran over like sycophants, standing next to Alice. However, with everyone injured, they didn't look very imposing.

Haven was already annoyed by being licked like this, and seeing Freyr and the others still jumping out like idiots, a nameless rage surged to his head. He took a few steps to Alice and gently placed his right hand on Freyr's shoulder.

"Freil, tell me, did you slip and fall and accidentally bump into my fist?"

Freyle was standing next to his cousin, about to say something tough, when suddenly a huge force came from his shoulder. The words that were about to come out of his mouth turned into "Ouch!" and his chubby little hand quickly grabbed Havent's right hand.

"You~you~you, let go! How dare you be so rude in front of the princess!"

"What, are you going to gang up on me again?"

Alice raised an eyebrow at Haven, who had come to stand before her. She felt that things were not going according to plan at all. Normally, she shouldn't have been the one riding down from the sky on her Odawi, and then she should have announced her name. Most people would have already knelt down by now.

What's going on with this little white lion? That shameless guy, Audarway, is being unusually affectionate with him. And this wretched fellow is also incredibly rude and talkative, always saying strange things.

Looking at the chattering crowd around her, Alice decided to turn the situation around and not let things continue like this.

"Wait, wait. Listen to me!"

Princess Alice, the Red Dragon, had never felt so powerless before, feeling that many of her usual methods had failed her. With no other option, Alice could only spread her arms, standing between Havent and Freyr.

"Havent Hyland, I challenge you to a duel."
