Otherworld Bone Dragon Operation Guide

Chapter 96 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 96 Remarks on the launch
The public section ends here; the product will officially go on sale tomorrow at 12 noon.

It hasn't been an easy journey.

When I decided to write this book, I had no idea how many people would read it. It is a work full of unique characteristics, and in many ways it goes against the mainstream.

I'm very grateful to my editor YY; he was the only one who replied to my email saying "give it a try."

On the twentieth day after its release, it barely managed to gather 100 readers to enter the first round of trial promotion. Other works published around the same time were already in their second round, garnering more than ten times the traffic. There were even excellent works that had been compiled for a third round. And yet another work, crowding the newborn check-up alongside *Bone Dragon*, had only half the word count.

Every day, people criticize the book in the reviews section. Many even leave long comments, offering advice on writing.

This isn't a story of perseverance; as a newbie on the platform, I had absolutely no resilience. But I was also too much of a newbie, accumulating a six-figure manuscript before even publishing the book, setting it to auto-publish, and then sitting alone with a water bottle, feeling emo.

This is why "Bone Dragon" was able to persevere through its initial dismal performance: having a stockpile of manuscripts solved everything.

Looking back now, it wasn't that I underestimated this book, but rather that I underestimated the readers. Despite their differences, there were always some who could perceive that this was a serious and sincere book, even with its many shortcomings.

That's why it received support from a group of people and was pulled out of the mire. The silent majority doesn't leave book reviews, but every read, click, and vote contributes to a solid data score in the background.

In short, thank you everyone, thank you for taking care of me!

Regarding updates, 8000 words will be released on the first day, and then the daily limit will be maintained at 4000 words.

Ensuring quality is a top priority. I'll strive to increase the writing speed to an average of 6000 words per day, but higher is currently unattainable; I'll take it one step at a time. I also need to be clear about the nature of this book. On one hand, it needs a certain number of words to draw the reader into the atmosphere and create pacing; on the other hand, there are quite a few plot elements. It's difficult to enjoy reading it comfortably without reading a considerable amount at once.

So I'll just raise it; I've accepted my fate.

But I don't update very often, and if I leave it unfinished for too long, my memory will become hazy. I know that the best time for this book to meet its readers is when it is finished.

Now that things have come to this, all we can do is try our best to bring this moment forward.

Finally, I'm hoping for the first order within 24 hours of it being released!

This data is quite important because tomorrow is the competition for the top spot in the new book promotion, which will directly determine whether "Bone Dragon" can obtain this resource. If the first subscription exceeds 2000, there will be an extra chapter; if it exceeds 4000, there will be an extra chapter. Any more than that, there will be extra chapters.

This month's monthly votes have already been rewarded once. To simplify the calculation, an extra chapter will be added when the panel count reaches 4000. After that, one word per monthly vote, calculated every 1000 votes, valid for this month only.

We will also give extra chapters as a reward for reader donations, but the criteria will not be disclosed. Thank you very much for your recognition.
