Chapter 106 Big Blue Mackerel

Chapter 106 Big Blue Mackerel
Su Ming didn't know how to explain, so he waited for the girl to finish the last piece of bread. "Okay, I'll take you to see it."

The assembly site was located in the lower deck at the bow of the ship. Su Ming led Bei Anqi down three flights of stairs, the LED lights illuminating the passageway brightly yet softly. Thanks to the batteries and inverters, the low-voltage power supply for the White Triangle was always very stable.

Beianqi couldn't help but take a closer look. From the moment she boarded the ship, this kind of even and stable lighting equipment had been present in every corner.

Either Su Ming and Zi Jin are extremely wealthy, or the cost and usage of these magical lamps are extremely low.

Upon reaching the lower deck, Su Ming turned on the surrounding searchlights. It was a rotating mechanism over ten meters high, with extensive use of scaffolding; currently, only a preliminary structure had been erected. At the very bottom were the rotating motors and hydraulic systems, surrounded by a tangled web of pipes.

Angie walked in, dragging the IV bag like she was pulling a helium balloon. She had been observing the searchlight, but when her eyes fell on the huge metal gear at the bottom, she couldn't look away.

"Impossible!" She rushed forward, nearly tripping over the pipes on the ground, but luckily Su Ming caught her in time.

"Watch your step."

"How did you manage to make these metal parts so flawless? And with such ridiculously high precision!" Beianqi pointed at the transmission system, her face flushed with excitement. "How did you manufacture them?!"

"Calm down, they are not creations of this world." Su Ming had to reach out and press down hard on Bei Anqi's shoulder. "It's my special ability that allows me to summon the order of matter that originally belonged to another world here."

Beianqi paused, struggling to process what she had just heard. "So all of these are creations from another world?"

"Yes."

"Can it be produced in our world?" Beanie asked.

“Simple ones are possible.” Su Ming looked around, “but this level… requires at least several decades of accumulation.”

In the field of metal smelting and processing alone, since the Industrial Revolution, the Earth has undergone numerous technological iterations, accumulating countless techniques and details. Any modern blast furnace, regardless of its design, can represent another massive production chain, requiring a collaborative team of technicians trained through a comprehensive education system.

Countless such industries intertwine, bringing together a vast population, resources, and civilization to construct a magnificent industrial system. As someone working in this field, Su Ming believes that industry is the true Cthulhu of the Earth.

Of course, if he personally pushes it forward with all his might, copying the homework from history books and taking shortcuts by utilizing the existing magical technology in this other world, it's not impossible to compress it to a dozen years or so.

But Su Ming didn't realize that nothing was more important to him than going home.

Su Ming stopped Bei Anqi, preventing her from going any further. A few transmission gears were enough to excite her; he dared not let her see an even more complex structure.

The mechanic girl was reluctantly pushed out of the lower deck by Su Ming and dragged back to the workshop.

"That's the situation," Su Ming said to Bei Anqi. "Are you willing to help?"

"You think I need to consider this?" The girl glared at him. "Even if you throw me into the sea, I will never leave!"

Although it was somewhat different from what I expected, the problem was solved and the new cattle and horses were successfully acquired.

After the IV drip ended, Su Ming removed the needle and ordered Bei Anqi to go back to her room to rest.

Su Ming himself went to the lower deck at the stern and connected with Miao Xin.

It was late at night on Earth. Miao Xin, with her little troublemaker, leaned against a corner of the wall, bored. This was just a private museum, semi-open like a park. There was no entrance fee, and no security personnel. Su Ming looked towards his destination, the main body of the museum: the decommissioned USS Albacore submarine. This was the first submarine in human history to adopt a teardrop-shaped hull, a milestone in modern submarines.

The submarine is 62.2 meters long and 8.2 meters wide. It features a double-hull structure with all cross-sections approximately circular. For the Su-Ming, its level of sophistication and size are just right.

The fully-formed mackerel weighed a staggering 1242 tons, but after being converted into a museum, it lost most of its equipment. But that's alright; Su Ming's target is its main structure. The propeller and drive shaft can still be used, but the power system, battery equipment, and avionics system will need to be acquired separately.

After all, these are submarines from sixty or seventy years ago; even if they were still preserved, they would no longer be usable.

Su Ming unleashed a summoning spell, selecting the submarine's propeller and drive shaft, as well as the front and rear water tanks, valves, pipes, and other accessories.

"The Simplest Way to Summon Everything!"

Once the technique was completed, the corresponding parts on the submarine disintegrated, and the metal materials in the White Triangle's cabin quickly reassembled into a pile of identical components.

Su Ming was slightly out of breath. Although the teleportation equipment wasn't too complex, it still weighed several tens of tons. He rested for a short while before proceeding with the second teleportation.

This time, the focus is on the hull structure. Although it is larger in size, it does not need to be built to size. It only needs to be assembled into a much smaller ship model.

"Transformation & Miniature Summoning!"

On Earth, the hull of the Great Bluefin Tuna Museum collapsed with a deafening roar, nearly a thousand tons of metal debris crashing onto the ground with a dull thud. Meanwhile, on Su Ming's side, the runic light dissipated, revealing a one-meter-long metal submarine model on the floor.

If the mackerel form is needed in the future, the configuration of the skeleton fortress can be reconstructed based on this model, and then a power and energy storage system and a water tank for controlling surfacing and diving can be installed.

"What did you just summon?" Violet asked via telepathy. "I sensed a conflict with the laws of the plane."

[A submarine, the Great Bluefin Tuna.] Su Ming described the submarine's functions and roles to the scholar in detail. As for the dimensional conflict she mentioned, it might have been mild, or Su Ming might have gotten used to it and hadn't even realized he had triggered it again.

"A ship that can potentially travel underwater?" Violet was surprised. "It's a nice piece of equipment, but we probably won't need it for now, right?"

"I plan to get that troublemaker out of his current country; it's not easy for him to come all this way," Su Ming replied. "So I'm taking him along as part of my technical reserves."

[Understood, thank you for your hard work.]

【The same to you.】

Su Ming's magic power was greatly depleted, and he felt somewhat dizzy, so he decided to take a nap in the evening. However, two hours later, Zi Jin woke him up.

"I'm sorry," the scholar said, "but there's a groundhog in the hold that keeps darting around and squealing."

Su Ming sighed, "Let Bei Anqi make a scene, is that all it took to wake me up?"

She suddenly stopped moving; it seems she fell and hurt herself.

Zijin needed to guard the mooring lines and couldn't leave. Su Ming resignedly climbed down to the lower deck and, sure enough, saw Bei Anqi lying on the ground.
