Chapter 2 The Weasley Family

In the beginning, Vaughn actually thought about becoming a serious potion star.

It's a pity that there are too many bigwigs in this industry...

The conventional healing potions that Vaughan initially brewed, such as "stimulants" and "blood tonics", were completely unable to compete with those of famous pharmacists. Even pharmacies were unwilling to purchase from him, let alone sell them.

Until one day, he saw his mother washing Ginny's hair and complaining that Ginny's hair was getting longer and longer, so she had to buy "fast smoothing hair spray". Suddenly, inspiration came to him, and he felt that his future was bright.

Is there anything easier to make than money from women and children?
No!

It turns out that witches are women too.

Their pursuit of beauty and fear of time make them willing to spend money much more than wizards!

Even though Vaughn was only 8 years old and unknown at the time, there were still witches willing to try the "Vaughn Beauty" products he developed. Today, it has developed into a series in Vaughn's hands.

This not only brought him fame, but also brought him hundreds of gold galleons in income every month!

"Vaughn, honey, are you done?"

A knock on the door interrupted Vaughn's thoughts.

He closed the system panel and, while stacking the bottles of beauty products one by one in the emptied box, replied, "I'm done, Mom. Did Ms. Primpanel's owl come?"

The attic door opened, and chubby Molly walked in. She stroked Vaughn's fiery red hair lovingly. "The owl is waiting downstairs. Your dad is feeding it snacks. Don't worry."

As she spoke, she took out a purse from her bosom and placed it on the laboratory table: "This is the money the owl brought, Vaughan, keep it for yourself."

"Mom, keep these..."

"No!" Molly refused with a serious expression, but soon softened and took Vaughn into her broad arms.

"My dear, how can the family keep using your money? Dad and Mom have long said that whether it's you, Bill, or Charlie, the money you earn is yours, not to mention you've already given a lot."

This conversation has happened more than once since Vaughn started making money and was ready to use part of it to support his family.

The result was always the same, and at Molly's request, Vaughn had no choice but to put away the purse.

I have to say, whether I read novels in my previous life or experienced it personally in this life, although the Weasley family is poor, Arthur and Molly have never failed to meet the standards as parents!
After packing the box with Molly's help and casting a spell to prevent the bottles inside from breaking, Vaughan picked up the box and followed Molly downstairs.

On the first floor, Arthur had finished feeding the owl and was sitting at the dining table reading a newspaper.

"Good morning, Dad!"

"Good morning, Vaughn. Come here quickly. The little guy is getting impatient."

"You know it's getting impatient, so why don't you go upstairs and help Vaughn clean up? Arthur Weasley, what else do you do every morning besides reading the newspaper? Poor dear Vaughn works so hard. It takes him several days to boil the medicine. As a father, you never help him and you don't want to do housework..."

At Molly's roar, Arthur quickly hid his head behind the newspaper again.

A new day began with Molly's roar and the sound of the owl flapping its wings as it struggled to lift the box!

This is a familiar scene in daily life.

Vaughan went to wash up without changing his expression. When he passed by the enchanted dressing mirror, the mirror immediately trembled.

"Shut up! Don't talk!" Vaughn pulled out his old wand and pointed at it threateningly!

The mirror immediately stopped moving. Only after Vaughn had walked away did a faint, barely audible "Sloppy..."

After washing up, Molly woke up everyone else. A boy with freckles on his face was about to go into the bathroom, but when he saw Vaughn, his expression became a little stiff.

Vaughn smiled at him, "Good morning, Ron!"

"..." Ron puffed out his cheeks and said vaguely, "Good morning, Vaughn."

"Are you polite? Call me brother!"

Ron blushed and mumbled, "You were only born five minutes before me..." Vaughn's smile widened. He remembered the scene of his birth; Ron was supposed to come out first, but he felt uncomfortable being squeezed and couldn't help kicking him...

The two were in a stalemate when a pair of identical twins appeared behind Ron with full energy, one on each side of his shoulders, like Aurors escorting prisoners.

"Even if he was born five minutes earlier, he's still older than you, right, George?"

"That's right Fred, just like I'm only 10 seconds older than you, you still have to call me brother."

"George, you're confused because you're asleep. I'm 10 seconds older than you."

"it's me!"

Ron was dizzy and frustrated by their quarrel.

Fortunately, Ginny also ran over at this time and threw herself happily into Vaughn's arms. He muttered something softly and rushed into the bathroom in the chaos.

"Good morning, Vaughn!"

"Good morning, Ginny." Vaughn kissed his sister's forehead.

In the whole family, he has the best relationship with Ginny. On the one hand, when Ginny was born, he had already gotten used to life after time travel and began to accept his new family from the bottom of his heart. On the other hand, the two of them look the most alike and are the representatives of good looks in the Weasley family.

When they were little, Arthur and Molly used to joke that Vaughn and Ginny looked like twins, while Vaughn and Ron, the real twins, didn't look alike at all.

It was a noisy morning and the whole place didn't quiet down until breakfast was over.

But unlike usual, Arthur did not rush to work at the Ministry of Magic.

Percy, who usually went back to his room after dinner and couldn't wait to get into his book, sat by the window and looked out.

Fred and George, who always ran out to play mischievously, sat quietly on the chairs in the restaurant today, winking at Vaughn and occasionally teasing and bullying Ron.

Ron, who usually gets so mad at them that he collapses and hides away, forced himself not to leave today.

The whole family is waiting, waiting for the letter from Hogwarts!
By the time the sun had jumped over the mountain and shone into the burrow, everyone finally heard the sound of an owl flapping its wings.

Molly, who had seemed calm but was actually absent-minded, quickly got up and opened the window.

Arthur also put down the newspaper and brought out the owl's leftover morning snacks.

Soon, an owl flew in and landed on the dining table.

Two letters were tied to its legs. The envelopes were made of thick parchment. Even if they were not removed, you could still see the conspicuous wax seal on the front and the shield-shaped emblem consisting of a lion, eagle, badger, and snake pattern surrounding the letter "H".

Molly excitedly took the envelope off and glanced at the back. Unable to contain her joy and happiness any longer, she exclaimed repeatedly, "Thank you, Merlin! It's the Hogwarts acceptance letter. I've been worried since yesterday. What if I don't receive it?"

Arthur, who also leaned forward but failed to grab Molly's hand, tried to act calmly. "You're always worrying about nothing. There's no way Vaughn can't go to Hogwarts."

"I'm worried about Ron! You don't know how scared I am that he won't get the admission letter. This kid has been like a rock since he was young. Even his magical riots are pitifully small..."

"mom!"

Ron, whose face was as red as his hair, hurriedly snatched the letter and threw Vaughn's letter over to him. Then he clutched his own letter tightly and ran back upstairs.

Vaughn watched all this with a smile, not caring at all. He picked up the letter and turned it over.

At the same time, the system panel popped up in front of him.
