Chapter 727 Return to School
"The royal court is not monolithic. There are many factions among the elven elders. After I decided to step forward, many elders have chosen to support me and help me achieve my goal."

"However, I have a feeling that some of these elders have ulterior motives, and a few of them have made many demands of me, trying to gain my support in exchange for those conditions..."

"I'm starting to regret taking this path. Ugh, it's so annoying. Exploring ruins with you was much more fun..."

The calamity in the Elf Forest has officially ended; the next step is post-disaster reconstruction.

During this time, Elena would secretly contact Celia from time to time to confide in her and express her depressed feelings.

Celia also learned about the undercurrents within the Elven race through Elena, things that wouldn't be discussed openly.

Today was no different. Elena secretly contacted Celia, and after talking for a while, it seemed that someone needed to see her, so she had to hang up.

Looking at the vanished projection of Elena, Celia couldn't help but sigh, "Factional infighting and all that... it's a real headache. If I were in that situation..."

Ross chuckled, "If you want to become a saintess, you still need to come into contact with these things."

"Is it okay to avoid contact...?"

"Yes, as long as you have absolute strength, you can ignore these so-called struggles."

"Uh……"

"Of course, there is another way. You can choose not to fight for power, voluntarily give up the struggle, and with a little strength to protect your life, you can become a neutral party. But the premise is that you are strong enough."

"That's still the same."

"Yes, Elena's strength is not enough, so she needs to spend more energy on her training. But if she spends too much time on it, it will delay her cultivation."

Ross shook his head.

"If she can realize this in time, it's not too late, and there's still a chance."

"I'll remind her next time she contacts me."

Celia didn't want her elven friend to be forgotten like this.

After ending her communication with Elena, Celia went outside the room and looked at the busy Knights of the Law.

The calamity has ended, and the Holy Court has no intention of invading the Elven race. They are currently dismantling the camp, salvaging useful items, and preparing to evacuate.

However, although they were dismantling the camp and packing up their belongings, the place where Celia, Phil, and Benovia lived was not dismantled and would be dismantled after they returned.

Watching the busy law enforcement knights, Celia stretched and asked, "Lord Ross, may we go back now?"

Ross nodded: "That's enough. Phil has learned enough. As expected, she should return to the Temple of Ember to set up the summoning ritual. So, go back and study at the school for a while before going out again."

"it is good!"

Celia showed a pleased expression.

She didn't have many belongings; most of her daily necessities were stored in her spatial ring. So, after informing Melina, she contacted Phil and returned with him.

Benovia had already left when Phil began to take back the contamination, because there was no longer anything for her to do here.

Upon learning that she no longer needed to do anything, she rushed back that very day.

Besides Benovia, Vanessa had also left long ago. After confirming that Celia was safe and realizing that she couldn't be of much help, she returned to the Temple of Star Ash.

"This trip has probably been the longest I've ever been. I hope it won't be like this again in the future."

Leaving the camp, Celia couldn't help but sigh.

"Not necessarily, Celia. The discovery of a contaminated pool underground in the Elf Forest has prompted other countries to begin their own investigations, including Ishtar. Perhaps they might accidentally discover something underground."

"we'll talk about it then!"

Having a teleporter means that if you're in Ishtar, it's not much different from being at home, since you can reach any city in the Empire in just a few hours—as long as you have the money.

The two left the camp and soon arrived at Southern Border City, where they used the city's teleportation device to travel to Ember City. They said goodbye at the school gate; Phil was going to the Temple of Ember, while Celia returned to her dormitory.

Celia didn't stay in Southland City, nor did she go to Starash. During this time, besides wandering around the camp, she would occasionally fly her broom to Starash to help Vanessa treat patients or clean up.

Before leaving, she went to Star Grey Town to say goodbye to Vanessa.

"Finally back in a familiar room."

Looking at the familiar dormitory layout and the slightly dusty smell, Celia raised her hand, and a simple wind spell appeared in her hand. With a gentle wave, all the dust that had settled on the entire room was blown away.

After that, Celia quickly changed the blankets and lay straight down on the bed.

"Comfortable~"

Ross looked at Celia and suddenly said, "Celia, get up."

Celia immediately sprang to her feet like a spring, looking at Ross with a bewildered expression: "What's wrong? What happened?"

"Oh, it's nothing, I just woke you up to go to sleep."

Celia slowly uttered a question mark: "?"

Then she realized that Ross was teasing her.

The girl immediately pouted, lay back down, and turned her back to Ross's phantom image.

Ross looked at Celia with amusement. "Summon the puppet. I need to use it."

"Oh."

Celia raised her hand and summoned the puppet.

Ross immediately put himself on and did some simple stretching before saying, "You're allowed to rest for the last day. You'll begin your training tomorrow."

Celia just hummed twice and didn't answer.

Ross didn't care and simply manipulated the puppet to leave.

After he left, Celia turned around, looked in the direction he had disappeared, and made a face.

snort!
……

Ross, controlling Celia's puppet, secretly arrived at the Temple of Ember. By sensing the divine fragments of the puppet with those of Phil, he confirmed that Phil indeed intended to make arrangements at the Temple of Ember.

So he quietly appeared beside the room Phil was setting up, watching her take out the materials she needed from her spatial ring and carefully set them up.

Phil was not as fast as Celia, or even Benovia, at inscribing the runes, but he still took it very seriously and meticulously.

"Sneaking up to me, this evil god, in the lair of the God King, tsk tsk tsk, interesting."

Ross watched with interest, then frowned and said, "That's wrong. You should move it up a little bit."

His voice startled Phil, who looked up in a panic, only to breathe a sigh of relief when he saw it was Ross.

"I was so scared! I thought someone else had noticed something was wrong with me..."

"Your talent for runes is a bit lacking. Alright, continue setting it up. Once it's finished, everything except the foundation statue will be hidden away, so you can rest assured."

"Ok."

Phil continued to make careful arrangements.

Before she knew it, night had fallen. She finally finished the final setup, stood in the center of the magic circle, and took out the fragment of the divine essence.

"Phew, finally done... Let's begin."
