Hogwarts: I am Snape
Chapter 35 Rosmerta
Chapter 35 Rosmerta
Ms. Rosmerta was a beautiful, curvaceous, and warm-hearted woman.
Even twenty years later, when Ron Weasley saw her, he couldn't help but blush, and he secretly harbored feelings for her for a long time.
Ever since Ms. Rosmerta moved into the school hospital, the atmosphere on campus has changed. The male students are either sick or injured, as if they've all planned it together.
The once empty school hospital was suddenly filled with patients.
Seeing the chaotic scene, Ms. Pomfrey had no choice but to fly into a rage and kick out all the boys who were pretending to be sick but were actually better.
When Pandora learned that Abbo's memory had suddenly deteriorated, that he had gotten his leg caught in the steps by that prankster and sprained his ankle, forcing him to be admitted to the school hospital, she decided to visit him there simply out of concern for her friend.
"Are you sure you want to go?" Snape asked, a hint of unease in his voice. "Trust me, there's nothing to see there."
“But we’re friends,” Pandora blinked her big eyes, her long eyelashes fluttering. “You should come with me.”
"Uh, okay." Looking into her bright eyes, Snape had no reason to refuse and had no choice but to go to the school hospital with her.
"Where are you hurt again?" Madam Pomfrey asked Snape with a dark face, looking him up and down with suspicion.
“We’re not injured. We’re here to visit a friend.” Pandora walked up briskly and said simply, “Patrick Abbott.”
“Oh,” Ms. Pomfrey’s expression softened considerably when she saw Pandora had come along, and she nodded gently. “You can go in; he’s in bed number six.”
Pushing open the door, Snape immediately saw Abbott.
He had one foot wrapped in lush green herbs, and in his hand he held a copy of "How to Brew with Your Cauldron: The Ultimate Secret of Flame Whisky," flipping through it with a nodding and swaying head.
But his eyes kept glancing to the side, and he had a strange smile on his face, clearly thinking that he was very noble and profound.
Following Abbott's gaze, across a few hospital beds, Ms. Rosmerta was leaning against a feather cushion.
She wore a silk morning gown embroidered with fire dragons, the color of which perfectly complemented her skin. Her slender, white feet were casually placed on the mattress, her toenails gleaming pink.
The room was filled with sunlight, and an owl flew in through the window with a newspaper in its beak.
Lady Rosmerta gently reached into its beak and took a copy of the Daily Prophet. Then she took five small copper coins from beside her and put them into a small leather pouch tied to the owl's leg.
After receiving the delivery fee, the owl flapped its wings and flew out of the open window again.
“Hey, Abbo,” Pandora walked over to Abbo and asked with concern, “How are you?”
“As you can see,” Abbott said reluctantly, closing the book in his hands dramatically, “I sprained my ankle and need to take good care of it.”
"Shouldn't Ms. Pomfrey have healed it in the blink of an eye?" Snape asked skeptically.
“Sigh, you don’t know,” Abbot sighed deeply, looking helpless, “My ankle was bitten by Hokrap when I was a child. Since then, healing magic has not worked much for it. I can only apply herbs and wait for it to heal slowly.”
"What trick are you playing?" Snape asked in a low voice, leaning close to Abbott's ear.
He knew perfectly well that Hokrap was nothing more than a plump, pinkish, mushroom-shaped magical creature. The biggest thing it could bite was a small earthworm; how could it possibly cause such aftereffects?
"Shh!" Abbott glanced at Pandora, then quickly turned to Snape and whispered, "It's Curse Stopper, I used Curse Stopper."
"Your silent spell is quite effective at this moment."
Snape had barely finished mocking Abbott when he immediately understood why he did it. Lady Rosmerta let out a languid groan, drawing everyone's attention.
Looking over at the sound, I saw Ms. Rosmerta put down her newspaper and yawn softly, just like a kitten that had just woken up.
She sat up, slowly stretched, and a glimpse of beauty was faintly visible.
Then, she stood up gracefully, slipped her feet into her exquisite fluffy high-heeled slippers, and walked toward Abortion's bed with a clattering sound.
Every step and sway is full of charm.
Abbott gaped in surprise, stammering, "M-madam... hello, thank you."
Ms. Rosmerta looked at him with some confusion, clearly not understanding why Abbott was thanking her.
Ignoring Abbott's strange behavior, Mrs. Rosmerta turned to Snape with a charming smile: "Hello, Severus."
Her height was so outstanding that she was even half a head taller than Snape at the time.
Looking at the graceful Rosmerta standing before him, Snape didn't know where to look, and could only awkwardly reply, "Hello, Ms. Rosmerta."
“You’ve finally arrived,” Ms. Rosmerta chuckled. “I’ve been waiting for you all day.”
"Huh?" Snape was stunned, and blurted out, "Why were you waiting for me?"
“I would like to thank you in person,” said Ms. Rosmerta. “I heard from Minerva that if it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn’t be seeing the sun today.”
Snape thought to himself: If it weren't for me, the Inferi probably wouldn't have gone out of control.
“You know, the owl hut at the post office is right next to the three brooms. That night was really dangerous. I have to thank you on my behalf, and on behalf of my disturbed ancestors…”
As she spoke, Ms. Rosmerta patted her chest dramatically, and the air around her seemed to tremble.
"Abbot, what are you staring at?" Mary's displeased voice suddenly rang out in the ward.
It turned out that, without anyone noticing, Mary had also arrived at the school hospital and was standing by Albert's bedside, looking at him with a dissatisfied expression.
“It’s nothing,” Abbott said, quickly averting his gaze from Ms. Rosmerta.
“I think your ‘nothing’ doesn’t even give you a second glance, does he?” Mary said sharply, angrily throwing a box of white chocolates at Abbot.
“Well,” Mrs. Rosmerta watched the scene with interest, then said to Snape, “I should go back now, Severus.”
"You must come visit me sometime. The latest batch of oak-aged mead is almost ready; I'm sure you'll love it..."
After saying that, Lady Rosmerta waved her hand gently, and a bellflower-colored wizard's robe flew to her side.
Even after donning the wizard's robe, the hem of her morning gown was still faintly visible.
Ms. Rosmerta, wearing fluffy high-heeled slippers, disappeared through the doorway.
