Chapter 359 Fellow Villagers Meet (First Update!)

Just like superheroes on Earth.

Hawke didn't have any particular feelings towards the Guardians of the Galaxy; he neither wanted to befriend them nor disliked them for no reason.

Simply put.

Whatever happens, happens!

He originally planned to return to Earth after Gwen observed the data she wanted, but Gwen thought they should provide humanitarian aid to the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Gwen glanced at the computer projector, then looked at Hawke: "If you don't want to see them, then we won't. Let them leave after they've fixed it."

Hawke waved his hand.

Since we're already here, let's go see them. We're just killing time anyway, so seeing talking raccoons and baby tree people is more interesting than looking at a bunch of broken rocks.

Guided by the projection of the Enterprise, the Guardians of the Galaxy passed through the deck, walked through the silver futuristic corridor, and finally arrived at the bridge.

Drax the Destroyer, who looked exactly like a red rune warrior, immediately called out to Star-Lord beside him after seeing Hawk: "Look, it's that god from before."

Peter and Gamora exchanged a glance, then looked at Hawke: "Thank you for the rescue, Captain."

Hawke chuckled upon hearing this, "I'm not the captain, my wife is. My wife has never seen a talking raccoon or a little tree person before, so she wants to see them."

Raccoon?

Who are you talking about?
Standing beside Gamora, with Baby Groot's rocket perched on his shoulder, Hawk paused slightly, then bared his teeth at him.

"Hey, I'm not a raccoon."

"I'm Groot!"

On Rocket's shoulder, the adorable little tree Groot clenched his fists, looked fierce yet cute, and roared.

Gwen looked at the bristling rocket and the adorable but fierce little tree-man, and didn't find them scary at all; on the contrary, she found them quite cute.

Because Hawke was beside him.

As long as Hawke is around, Gwen feels that even if a Tyrannosaurus Rex were to be resurrected, she wouldn't find it particularly terrifying.

"What race is this raccoon? I don't think there's a corresponding one in the Cosmic Race Handbook that the Nova Corps gave us. But I found out about that little tree-man; he's a Flora Colossus."

"It doesn't have any particular race; it's just a genetically modified raccoon."

Hawke chuckled and looked at Gwen: "Just like that cyborg tied up on their spaceship, they've all been modified. That cyborg's body was mostly replaced with mechanical parts by Thanos."

Upon hearing Thanos's name, Gwen seemed to recall something and looked at Hawke.

"This Thanos, could he be the mastermind behind Loki's invasion of Earth with the Chitauri in 2012?"

"Just him."

"Wait a moment."

Hawk and Gwen's conversation wasn't kept secret from the Guardians of the Galaxy, so the Guardians overheard their entire exchange.

Upon hearing the word "Earth," Star-Lord Peter paused for a moment before becoming somewhat excited, looking at Hawke and Gwen: "Wait, Earth? You're Earthlings?"

Gwen turned to look at Star-Lord Peter, whose expression was somewhat excited, and became curious as well: "Yes, we are Earthlings, you know about Earth?"

You can't blame Gwen for being curious.

During their honeymoon on Xandar, Gwen encountered several alien races who were traveling on Xandar with similar itineraries.

Gwen also asked those different races in the universe if they knew about Earth.

As a result, no one knew about Earth.

They did know Earth's name in the universe, Terra, but they had never been there, nor had they ever seen any life from Terra.

In their words, Terra is located in the most remote and desolate part of the universe, a suburb of the suburbs. No one would be willing to waste energy and foolishly go to that remote corner.

When Gwen heard this, although she didn't show it, Earth was, after all, their home, and being spoken to like that by an alien race still hurt her somewhat.

Gwen snapped out of her reverie and thanked Enterprise for reminding her.

After confirming her pregnancy, the hospital in Xandar, based on Gwen's test results, even compiled a table outlining her daily nutritional needs and created a schedule for her.

Gwen seemed to have thought of something. She first glanced at Hawke, and after seeing Hawke shrug in agreement, she looked at Peter and the others, smiling and inviting them, "Have you eaten yet? If not, my husband and I would like to invite you to dine with us."

Upon hearing this, Peter exchanged a glance with Gamora, who was standing next to him.

Gamora was about to give Peter a look that would make him refuse, after all, someone who knew Thanos, was still alive and well, and even owned a spaceship that was considered sci-fi even in the entire universe, didn't seem like an ordinary person at all.

Before Gamora could speak, Star-Lord readily accepted Gwen's invitation.

The answer is definitely no.

At the very least, there are no Andorians or Vulcans in the current 616 main universe.

But in the Star Trek universe, the Andorians and Vulcans joined forces with Earthlings to create the Interstellar Alliance.

Hawke's embodiment is a perfect embodiment.

and so……

The Enterprise's food generator naturally features dishes from the Andorians and Vulcans.

However, this was just a minor incident.

Because Star-Lord learned that Hawk and Gwen were of the same race, he was less wary and less tense during the meal.

As Gwen listened to Star-Lord recount his story of being kidnapped from Earth, her expression reflected his words.

Simply put, it's about emotional value.

Gwen has always been very professional as a listener, and Star-Lord's later tales of cosmic wandering did indeed captivate her.

Gamora looked at Hawke and said thank you, "Thank you for rescuing our ship."

Rocket Raccoon, while eating the crayfish on his plate, followed suit upon hearing this: "Yes, and thank you for treating us to a meal."

Hawke smiled slightly and said, "You're welcome."

He was introverted and not good with words compared to his martial arts skills.

He had no intention of befriending the Guardians of the Galaxy, let alone taking the initiative to do so.
