The book is written without much passion or highlights, and it's not very engaging.

So my original editor gave up on me and refused to sign me.

I didn't give up; I wrote 100,000 words before applying for a contract.

I am aware of my shortcomings. Writing books is like being a person; I have some obsessive-compulsive tendencies and can't write fast-paced content.

This is clearly out of step with the current pace of online novels.

So, in reality, one can't make a living from online novels and won't achieve much.

Writing a book is also to fulfill a long-cherished wish, and I don't want the stories in my heart to remain a secret, a solitary indulgence in my own mind.

So I wrote it. Regardless of the results, it's still a channel for sharing. I hope that some people can find some joy and resonance after reading the story, and that our hearts can resonate together. Enough with the reflections, let me tell you about the stories in my book.

This book aims to express more than just the exhilarating feeling of being able to vent one's anger and vengeance, wield the sword and rule the world in a world where one possesses immense power.

What I really want to express is that cultivating immortality is not just about loneliness and isolation, but also about tender warmth, kinship, family responsibilities, and the expectations of all living beings.

I firmly believe that no matter what kind of world it is, there is an eternal core of emotions: humanity, responsibility, and morality.

Without these elements, a novel would be bland and tasteless, not even worthy of being called fast food; it would be forgotten as soon as it's read and utterly meaningless.

Of course, due to limitations in my writing skills and my average level, many people may be dissatisfied with what I write, finding it boring, too slow-paced, and lacking in passion...

It doesn't matter; it's enough that we've met by chance.

If you've read my works about cultivation realms, you'll definitely realize that this book has a very grand world view, which certainly can't be written in just two or three million words.

I don't know if I can write that long, or if I can show the complete world in my heart.
