Chapter 176 Sea Storm
Another part of the pier, away from police surveillance.

Costello and Billy leaned over the railing, watching a group of armed Chinese escort the delegates onto the ship, along with the suitcase containing the counterfeit goods.

"Don't they know we have a navy?" Costello said with a sneer. He had easily swindled a million dollars and even managed to put these Chinese people in FBI handcuffs. He was rolling in money.

Billy watched the small fishing boat disappear into the dark sea, his heart filled with anxiety.
Where are the police?
The deal's all done, why haven't the police shown up to arrest Costello yet?
Billy grew angrier the more he thought about it, clenching his fists inwardly. He had already leaked the details of the deal to the police beforehand, and they still couldn't catch him?

He turned to look at Costello beside him, and the mocking smile on Costello's face sent a chill down his spine.

How exactly did Costello see through this dead end?
At sea, Joey Ty called to his brothers to be on guard about their surroundings.

This is only the first step of the transaction. We've got the goods, but the bigger issues are how to safely bring them back to New York and how to ship them back to Asia.

This stuff can't be obtained through legitimate channels; it can only be obtained through smuggling.

The representative, carrying a box, said to Joey with a grateful expression, "Thanks to you all, we were able to get these cutting-edge chips this time."

Joey smiled and said, "You're welcome. It's nothing. We wanderers far from home also want to make a contribution to our hometown."

Just as everyone was happily looking forward to the future, suddenly, several spotlights appeared on the sea, illuminating the small fishing boat.

Customs ships came from all directions.

"FBI!"

"The cargo ship ahead, stop immediately and cooperate with the inspection!"

Immediately, Joey and the representative's expressions changed drastically.

How did the FBI arrive so quickly? That's impossible.

Seeing that there was no escape, Joey made a quick decision and shouted to his brothers, "Quickly throw the gun into the sea! Now!"

This absolutely cannot be allowed to be discovered by the FBI.

Then he turned to the representative and said, "Throw away the chips too! If the FBI catches us smuggling contraband, we're all finished!"

"Are there any other options?" the representative asked, looking troubled. "We finally managed to get these chips."

"Throw it away!" Joey's face was a little grim. "Listen to me, if the FBI catches our people, they'll only be in there for a short while before they come out. But if they get this evidence, we'll be in serious trouble, if not dead. You don't want to cause any more trouble, do you?"

As the FBI ship drew closer, Joey snatched the box and threw it into the vast ocean.

The representative sighed. The more he understood the consequences, the more he understood Joey's actions, but it was such a pity that these chips were wasted.

He stared at the slowly sinking box, his gaze filled with complex emotions.

Just then, a searchlight locked onto the location where the box had sunk. The FBI, who were prepared, quickly sent people to dive and retrieve the box.

Upon seeing this, Joey turned pale.

Fuck! The FBI was prepared! They even had divers ready; they knew this box contained something very important!
How did the FBI find out?
Winter Mountain Gang!!

Joey immediately realized this possibility: he had been betrayed by the Winter Mountain Gang. Otherwise, the FBI wouldn't have known so much about it, nor would they have surrounded them so quickly.

"Those damned Irishmen!"

Joey cursed under his breath and quickly racked his brains for a way to break the deadlock.

The representative standing next to him frowned. The situation was getting out of hand. Before the FBI caught them, he quickly took out his phone and contacted his home country to request assistance.

Just then, everyone suddenly noticed that the FBI ships that had surrounded them had stopped and were now in a standoff.

One side was the FBI from the port of Boston, while the other side was the FBI from the port of New York.

The two sides surrounded Joey and his group from the front and back, but they were not actually working together.

The FBI in Boston was also stunned. They had been wondering why so many ships had suddenly arrived, when they clearly hadn't sent that many people.

I only found out now that it was those bastards from next door in New York!
On the lead boat, Denham, holding binoculars, stared at his Boston colleagues not far away, and couldn't help but reveal a disdainful sneer.

Old Pigeon was absolutely right. The Boston FBI and the Winter Mountain Gang were in cahoots. The so-called deal was just a trap. The FBI just wanted to catch these gangsters.

This routine
Drum felt very familiar with it, as if he and the old pigeon had cooperated many times before.

“These bastards in Boston have such close ties with the mob,” Denham sneered. “Too bad you chose the wrong partner. The Winter Mountain Gang? Old Pigeon’s next target is the Winter Mountain Gang.”

"If you won't let us get involved, then you won't get involved either!"

"The FBI in New York wants these people!"

Thinking of this, Denham immediately ordered his men to approach Joey and his crew's fishing boat, brazenly blocking the Boston FBI's path.

This scene infuriated the Boston FBI, while Joey and the others were completely baffled. What the hell was going on?
Then they saw the two FBI leaders converge on a boat, and they could hear each other cursing from a distance.

Boston FBI: "Dunham! What the hell are you trying to do? Obstruct our arrest operation? Do you know how serious these people have been?"

Denham scoffed, "I want these people. Go back to where you came from."

Boston FBI: "These people are smuggling military chips! We have ample evidence! This is our case!"

Denham: "I'm investigating a drug smuggling case, and I'm a suspect among these people."

Boston FBI: "Don't fucking lie to me! I've been watching all night! Look at this." He pulled out a soaking wet box. "This is the evidence! I advise you to hand the guy over to us right now!"

“Evidence?” Denham scoffed. “You mean your game chips? Or light bulb sockets? Why don’t you take a good look at what those are?”

As soon as he finished speaking, the expression on the Boston FBI agent's face became unpredictable.

Fuck! How did Denham know it was fake?

It shouldn’t be!

If I just arrest these people, these fake evidence items can be transformed into genuine ones in the report.

With a little bluff and Costello's cooperation, these people will have no choice but to confess.

The FBI also gets a share of the money from the sale of genuine goods.

Although this scheme is crude, it works; just keep throwing dirty water on.

But this scheme has now been exposed.

Denham urged, "Do you want to open it yourself and see what's inside?"

The leader on the Boston side had a very grim face and said in a low voice, "Denham! Don't forget who these people are! You're an American, are you trying to protect them?"

Denham declared righteously, "I said I'm investigating drug trafficking! The truth will be judged by the law, not by framing you! If you can produce evidence, I'll let you take them away. If you can't, even if your chief comes tonight, you won't be able to take them away!"

The FBI director in Boston exclaimed, "Denham! Are you crazy? Don't you know what crime is more serious? If we can prosecute them for smuggling military supplies, we'll have a huge advantage in international public opinion!"

"Don't you dare bring up international public opinion all the time. I only look at the present and the facts!"

"."

The Boston official looked at Denham with an extremely complicated expression. "You're an American, and you're actually speaking up for them."

I only speak for the facts.

You know what I mean!

“Get lost! What was your response when I asked you to cooperate in investigating the Boston mob?” Denham sneered. “You’re in cahoots with the Winter Mountain gang, no wonder you wouldn’t let me get involved. Were you afraid I’d cut off your source of income?”

"Fuck your gang! That's an informant! Do you even know what an informant is?"

"I'm not going to waste any more words." Denham, seeing that his men had already brought Joey and his gang onto his ship, gave them the order to leave. "Are you going to get out of here yourselves, or are you coming back to New York with me?"

The Boston official picked up the box. "Denham, let me tell you, these are real military chips! I advise you..."

Denham ignored him and told his brothers to head back to New York.

Seeing this, the Boston manager was furious and had no choice but to leave, return to his own ship, and watch helplessly as Denham's ship returned to New York.

"Damn it! Go to hell!"

He was so angry that he threw the box back into the sea.

Damn it, we shouldn't have let that bastard Costello do whatever he wanted! He actually sold it before reporting the news!

Damn bastard!
Joey was completely bewildered and couldn't figure out what was going on for a while.

Looking at Denham in front of him, he remembered him. He recalled that Denham was very close to several police officers from the police station, who often came to Chinatown to investigate drugs.

“Officer Denham, we’re not smuggling any drugs,” Joey said. “You can search us freely; I guarantee there won’t be any drugs.”

“I’m warning you.” Denham didn’t give Joey a friendly look either. “Everyone knows what you’ve done. Come back with me and cooperate with the investigation.”

Joey laughed and said, "We're just here to enjoy the sea breeze."

"Really? You came to Boston to trade late at night, only to leave empty-handed? Did all your money go down the drain?"

"."

Joey's gaze darkened slightly. "Officer Denham, please provide evidence before you speak."

“Take your word back to the FBI.” Denham glanced back at the representative. “Looks like we’ve caught a big fish this time.”

You assisted Denham in preventing a conflict between the FBIs in both locations and apprehended several suspects. You upheld peace on the East Coast.

Inside the SSR Club, Luca received a call from Denham; they had brought everyone back.

If Luca hadn't intervened, this group would have already been caught red-handed by the Boston FBI.

Even if they weren't caught by the Boston FBI, but were instead captured by Denham, it wouldn't be easy for them to escape, though they could avoid the trouble of smuggling military chips.

Luca turned off the panel and stretched.

"You want chips? You can't buy them for just 150 million anymore."
