Beta's gaze fell on the spread-out documents.
Catalia, in her high heels, walked around the conference table and handed the documents to Sterling.
"Thank you." Sterling adjusted his glasses, his gaze quickly scanning the key information on the document behind the lenses.
“I will provide the weapons. In the initial phase, only light weapons can be used.” Beta stood up, a wristwatch peeking out from his suit sleeve. “Heavy firepower can only be deployed when the situation escalates.”
Beta placed his hands on the table: "The target's intelligence is all here. My men can track his location in real time. Now, tell me your plan."
Sterling handed the documents to McCree. McCree's fingers traced the text line by line, his brow furrowing.
Fulton reached out and snatched a few pages, glanced at them briefly, lost interest, and casually tossed them to Foldy.
"Seriously!" McCree snapped, reorganizing the documents and handing them to Fuldi. The young man took the files, his headphone cord dangling from the paper.
“We’re used to solving problems with cars.” Sterling pushed up his glasses. “Find a few sturdy cars, ram the target half to death first, then finish them off with a shot.”
Beta's lips twitched.
Isn't this exactly the technique he favored as "Mr. Hat"? It seems that after showing these four around a few times, they've learned it quite well.
A good strategy will work no matter how many times you use it, right? Why stick to just one trick and keep using it relentlessly?
Beta tapped his fingers lightly on the table: "What kind of car do you need?"
“We will set up an ambush near the target’s safe house.” He pushed up his glasses. “We need a heavy truck for the main attack, a garbage truck to block the retreat, and a helicopter for evacuation.”
He paused for a moment: "We can handle all of these ourselves. Of course, it will cost extra. If you provide the equipment, we will pay according to the original plan."
"How much more?" Beta's gaze swept over the four of them.
Sterling calculated for a moment: "One hundred thousand. The helicopter can be left to you afterwards."
“Deal. But there’s a condition,” Beta said. “You must report the location before you take action. Half of the businesses in New York are owned by Antonio, so don’t turn my business upside down.”
Sterling nodded. "Understood."
He glanced at Fulton, who was chewing gum: "We're always very professional."

The moment the conference room door closed, Katalia clung to Beta. She pressed herself against his chest, feeling his rapidly beating heart.
Her fingers slipped inside Beta's suit, her breath tickling his neck, her fingertips tracing patterns on his abs through the fabric of his shirt.
Katalia's warm breath carried a faint scent of perfume.
These past few days, Ashley has been keeping a close watch on Beta, and Katalia hasn't even had a chance to get close.
Beta grabbed her restless wrist and pulled her into his arms: "We have important business to attend to."
This is of course an excuse.
Ashley wouldn't let him go, and every night she would find new ways to drain his energy. Several nights of "overtime" had left him exhausted.
This morning, while washing up, he stood in front of the anti-fog mirror in the bathroom and was startled by the reflection in it. His eyes were bloodshot and his face looked somewhat listless, as if he had been drained of his life force by a vampire.
Katalia's red lips brushed lightly against Beta's earlobe: "What? Drained dry by your 'wife'?"
She deliberately emphasized the last two words, tracing circles on his chest with her finger: "I have some top-quality Colombian coffee here."
Beta gently pressed down on her restless hand: "Forget about the coffee, it'll only make it harder to sleep."
He rubbed his temples wearily. "Why don't you come with me to lunch? Ashley's taken care of other things and won't be back for a while."
Katalia's gaze swept over the dark circles under Beta's eyes, and she chuckled.
She released her entangled arms and took a half step back. The movement of withdrawing her hand was deliberately slow, her nails lightly scraping against his shirt button: "Fine, I'll let you go." Her fingertips lightly touched his chest: "Don't get too tired."
“I never shy away from admitting the truth.” Beta loosened his tie, revealing the lingering hickeys on his neck. “These past few days, Ashley has been completely obsessed with me, she won’t let me go.”
Katalia laughed so hard she almost fell over, and she took Beta's arm: "I guessed why."
"Hmm?" Beta raised an eyebrow.
“She’s competing against me.” Catalia winked mysteriously, but changed the subject when Beta pressed her for details: “Let’s go, I know a good Italian restaurant.”
Her stiletto heels "inadvertently" brushed against Beta's calves, leaving tiny scratches on her suit trousers with the tips of her shoes.
Katalia leaned close to his ear: "I promise."
She drew a cross on his palm with her fingertips: "Today, we'll just enjoy the food."
Beta smiled and shook his head: "Even if you have ideas, I'm powerless to help you."
He leaned wearily against the doorframe, his tie draped askew around his neck: "Ashley has been absolutely insane these past few days."
Katalia laughed, straightening his disheveled tie with her fingers: "Darling, this is the price of having your cake and eat it too."
She deliberately tightened her tie knot abruptly, then smoothed it out gently as Beta frowned: "To provoke two possessive women."
She traced the bite mark on his collarbone with her fingertips: "There's always a price to pay."
Beta nodded thoughtfully: "You're right, I should have seen through your trap back then."
He sighed with feigned regret, "It would have been so much better to find a gentle and obedient kitten. Things wouldn't be like this now."
Before he could finish speaking, Katalia had already pinched the soft flesh of his lower back.
"Regretful?" Katalia's red lips brushed against his earlobe. "Too bad this isn't a confessional."
She grabbed his tie with her other hand and pulled it down sharply: "I have no interest in hearing your confession."
Beta was forced to bend down, meeting her furious gaze. Kataria pressed her knee between his legs: "I just want to teach you a lesson right now, right here."
Beta laughed and raised her hands in surrender. This kind of playful banter is also a way for couples to enhance their relationship: "I surrender, I admit my mistake."
Katalia gave a soft snort, then suddenly bent her knee and thrust it forward. Beta nimbly took half a step back, barely dodging the sneak attack.
She grabbed his silk tie and pulled him forward, like leading a tamed lion: "Stop dreaming. I'm here, the leopard."
Her fingertips traced his Adam's apple: "Which reckless little wildcat dares to come near?"
She tugged at her tie and walked forward, her high heels clicking crisply on the marble floor.
Sunlight streamed through the stained glass windows of the corridor, illuminating the space.
Beta followed her obediently, his gaze fixed on the taut curve of her back, where a leopard-like explosive power lay hidden.
Especially when she rode him like a horse. Her long legs gripped his waist tightly, her fingernails leaving red marks on his back, like a real cheetah roaming over him.
That wild power and sense of control still sends chills down his spine when he thinks about it.
