Chapter 33 Sir
Chapter 33 Sir
Who else could appear before him besides the rabbits from the youth palace?
Zhang Wenda then realized that the tremendous force wasn't Ouyang attacking him, but rather the other man patting him on the shoulder as a greeting.
This guy is still so reckless.
Looking at the familiar purple rabbit, even though there was a teacher next to him whose identity was unknown, Zhang Wenda's immense pressure had vanished without a trace.
Just as he was about to go to meet him, the rabbit stretched out its big, furry paws, picked up Zhang Wenda, and placed him on a bench that was much taller than Zhang Wenda. Then it pulled over a bench and sat down next to him.
"Want some candy?" Zhang Wenda handed a lollipop to the rabbit.
As the furry paws swatted Zhang Wenda's hand away, Zhang Wenda felt as if his wrist was about to dislocate. "Don't move, listen to the teacher."
Teacher Ouyang, who was standing to the side, chuckled. "Hehehe, Teacher Rabbit from the Children's Palace has already told me about your situation, so don't try to hide it. If you encounter any problems that you can't solve on your own in the future, remember to tell your teacher, understand?"
Zhang Wenda looked at Ouyang, then at the rabbit, and realized that this was not what he had expected.
From this, it seems she called her to the office because Rabbit had spoken to her and knew she was in trouble?
So, when she called me here, she meant she was helping me? And not that she wanted to eat me or had some other conspiracy?
With a "thud," Zhang Wenda was slapped hard on the head. "The teacher is talking to you."
Zhang Wenda grimaced, clutching his head as he looked at the rabbit beside him. "Couldn't you have been a little gentler?"
Rubbing his head, Zhang Wenda hesitated for a moment, then glanced at Teacher Ouyang beside him before pulling Rabbit toward the corridor.
"Come here, I have something to tell you."
After the door to the teachers' office was closed, making sure that no one inside could hear what was being said outside, Zhang Wenda looked up at the rabbit and said, "Thank you for your care, but you've got the wrong person. Ouyang is no good; she has a problem."
"what is the problem?"
Zhang Wenda took out the ratio recognition device and showed its contents to the rabbit.
“Look, Ouyang isn’t human, she’s a monster or… or something I can’t comprehend.”
The rabbit took it with its large, furry paws and looked at it curiously.
Upon seeing the 100% data above, a look of surprise appeared on the hairy face.
Just as Zhang Wenda was about to explain something, he saw the other person pick up that thing and hit him directly, then show him the screen.
Water: 13%
Protein: 32%
High-density parasitic cyst clusters: 42%
Protein-like humic polymers: 31%
Other: trace amounts
Zhang Wenda stared in disbelief at everything before him. Not only was Ouyang like this, but even the rabbit was.
"No, what are you?! Aren't you even human?" Zhang Wenda shouted in disbelief.
"Go back now, listen to your teacher, and no matter what trouble you encounter, remember to find Teacher Ouyang, she is your class's homeroom teacher."
After finishing speaking, Rabbit slapped the ratio analyzer into Zhang Wenda's hand and turned to leave.
"Wait a minute!" Zhang Wenda's shout made the rabbit stop.
"I really can't understand, I really can't figure it out!! What are you?! Why is your composition different from mine? Are you even human?"
The rabbit tilted its head slightly and slowly said, "We are adults." "Adults?! Adults?" Zhang Wenda took two steps back in disbelief; the rabbit's words were beyond his comprehension.
Zhang Wenda's reaction seemed to be within the rabbit's expectations. He continued calmly, "I know there are some things that you can't understand right now. It's okay, you'll understand when you grow up."
"I'm all grown up now!" Zhang Wenda strode up to the rabbit, spreading his arms to block its path. "In this world, are all adults monsters like this?"
The rabbit didn't answer; it just stood there silently watching Zhang Wenda.
Zhang Wenda slowly lowered his outstretched hand, his voice gradually becoming lower and deeper. "I'm not questioning you, I just... I just really don't know."
"This world is too unfamiliar to me. Everything I see is so strange, so...incomprehensible."
"Although I haven't shown it, I'm really lost right now. I really don't know how to understand or face this world."
The rabbit crouched down and placed its enormous head in front of Zhang Wenda. "Do you trust me?"
"I trust you." Zhang Wenda nodded earnestly and forcefully.
"Then please believe me, I didn't tell you because it's really for your own good."
"Can--"
Zhang Wenda was interrupted as soon as he finished speaking: "Children have their own rules, and adults have their own rules. If we are destined not to be able to change the rules, then we can only choose to adapt to them."
Hearing this, Zhang Wenda swallowed back the words he was about to say. "I understand. I'm sorry for putting you in a difficult position."
The rabbit opened its three-lobed mouth and spoke again: "Listen carefully to what I'm about to say. Although Teacher Ouyang is an adult, someone you can't understand right now, she won't harm you. You can go to her if you need anything."
"Secondly, not all adults are good people. If an adult is hostile towards you, remember to stay away from them or go to Teacher Ouyang."
"Even though you are confused right now and want to figure everything out as soon as possible, listen to me, don't think about it or try to explore it."
"Adult rules and children's rules are not on the same wavelength. Knowing them in advance won't help you in the present. This is all I can do for you."
After saying all this, the rabbit stood up, turned around and left without looking back.
Zhang Wenda returned to the classroom in the middle of the second period. While listening to the old man on the podium talking endlessly, he was still immersed in the few words that the rabbit had said.
"Am I misunderstanding something? Is this strange world where humans and monsters coexist? Am I just making a fuss?" Zhang Wenda stared blankly at the ratio analyzer in his hand.
"Why didn't he let me think about things I couldn't understand? In this world, shouldn't we try to figure out what's going on when we encounter something we don't understand? Is ignoring it the best solution?"
Zhang Wenda really couldn't understand it. Although he trusted Rabbit a lot, what Rabbit said made no sense at all, and he just couldn't comprehend it.
"What is an adult? Is the adult he speaks of truly the adult I understand?"
