Chapter 291 Who's Fishing? All Enter the Holy Domain

Chapter 291 Who's Fishing? All Enter the Holy Domain

The crowd's shouts startled the spirits sitting on Li Wushou's side.

They didn't know what the "mustard seed ferry" that these important figures were talking about was, but they keenly realized that it must be something extraordinary.

Because after these high-ranking figures finished shouting, their eyes never left the conch shell.

They were very familiar with that look in their eyes; it was filled with greed!

The leaders of the various factions did not expect such an unexpected turn of events on Buddha's Birthday.

Mustard Seed Ferry, as a gateway to the sacred realm or the divine realm, usually represents majesty and solemnity when it appears, standing above all living beings, as if a celestial being has descended to earth.

Even some of the top forces in the Fubo Domain have to be cautious or avoid the Mustard Seed Ferry when they encounter it.

However, there is one exception: a mustard seed ferry crossing!
It should be understood that even Great Venerables and True Gods can die during times of great upheaval in the world.

After the death of the Great Venerable and the True God, the Holy Domain or God Realm they created will also collapse and return to the world. However, due to various coincidences, some Holy Domains and God Realms will leave behind fragments.

These fragments of heaven and earth are filled with a large amount of boundary power. For many Nascent Soul True Monarchs and Divine Transformation Great Powers who want to create their own worlds, these fragments are invaluable opportunities, whether for refining boundary power or for comprehending the secrets of the Great Venerable Realm through the broken world.

Even if one hasn't reached the Nascent Soul or Deity Transformation stage, entering this realm still offers opportunities for various chances.

After all, this is the place where a great deity or true god attained enlightenment, and it inherently contains the core inheritance of that deity.

If these inheritances happen to be in this fragment, wouldn't obtaining them be like obtaining the Heavenly Path that leads directly to the Great Venerable?

At this moment, the conch shell held in the spirit's hand contains such a tiny ferry crossing—leading to a collapsed holy realm or divine realm.

With a slight shake, everyone could feel a wisp of boundary energy dissipating, and many fragments of stone fell down with it.

This all demonstrates that the world within it is now without a master, in a state of disorder and even fragmentation.

Upon closer inspection, the group could not detect the scent of incense, indicating that this was likely a fragment of a collapsed sacred realm rather than a fragment of the divine realm.

This made those who cultivate immortality even more excited!
These wild cultivators and spirits didn't understand what this meant, but they all knew perfectly well what it meant.

The atmosphere in the room suddenly became strange.

The leaders of the various factions were in a state of unease, and some had even begun to notify the Nascent Soul True Monarchs who were stationed there.

The Nascent Soul stage expert was far away in the Fubo Domain, and it was too late to notify him.

This Mustard Seed Ferry appears on the Buddha's birthday at Blood Buddha Temple. Blood Bodhisattva will not give everyone time to summon a powerful deity.

Even the Nascent Soul True Monarch that everyone wants to summon may not actually get a share of the pie.

Blood Bodhisattva has been stationed on Pudu Island for decades, overseeing the spread of the Blood Buddha Temple across the twelve continents of the outer seas. His strength is not to be underestimated; it is said that even when facing a Nascent Soul cultivator, Blood Bodhisattva can put up a fight.

This cast a shadow over the minds of all the officials present.

But soon, some acquaintances began exchanging opinions and forming an alliance, determined not to allow the Blood Buddha Temple to monopolize this fragment of the sacred domain.

Blood Buddha was very famous in Fubo Domain, but the forces behind them were not afraid. With Zhenhai Dazun suppressing Fubo Domain, Blood Buddha did not dare to act recklessly.

Therefore, after quickly reaching a consensus, everyone turned their attention to the Blood Bodhisattva who had been silent at the head of the table.

At this moment, Blood Bodhisattva appeared calm, but everyone inexplicably knew that the Blood Bodhisattva who had just been in charge of the situation with a kind and benevolent expression had now changed his demeanor.

The Vajra glared fiercely, surveying the scene and exerting immense pressure on everyone present, whose expressions varied.

The spirits on Li Wushou's side all lowered their heads, not daring to look him in the eye, even the spirit delivering the conch shell did so.

Only the couple continued drinking their tea, seemingly oblivious to everything else, while the thin, heterochromatic-eyed boy was once again squeezed between them.

On the other side, the leaders of various forces met Blood Bodhisattva's gaze firmly, even though they were also somewhat overwhelmed by Blood Bodhisattva's aura.

But at this point, they cannot back down; otherwise, if they are held accountable afterward, losing their positions as responsible persons would be the least of their worries.

At the same time, the old beggar was also in the Three Immortals Hall, and he explained to Li Wushou why these people were so greedy after discovering the Mustard Seed Ferry.

After hearing this, Li Wushou also felt that the world was indeed incredibly wondrous.

Then, accompanied by the Tree Goddess and the Paper Goddess, they observed the sudden turn of events with great interest.

To be precise, compared to the Mustard Seed Ferry in the Conch Shell, Li Wushou was more focused on observing people and the various spirits hidden beneath their skins, especially the spirit that offered the Conch Shell.

This monster has the body of a monkey, a human face, but only one eye between its eyebrows, and the eye is covered with a layer of blood vessels.

These blood vessels connect to the spine of this physical body, manipulating it.

Other spirits, curled up inside the skin, could never resist stealing a few bites of the skin's blood, flesh, and marrow.

This means that even if many people present cannot see through the inscriptions on the skin, they can quickly distinguish which are real people and which are evil spirits from the gradually decaying flesh.

But this spirit was different; he was extremely restrained from beginning to end!
Li Wushou always felt that this spirit was a little too shrewd.

Even if normal spirits know they should please the Blood Bodhisattva, they are merely following the rules set by the Blood Bodhisattva and helping the Blood Buddha Temple cultivate some flesh and blood features.

But secretly, he is probably rebellious, plotting to surpass the Blood Bodhisattva in cultivation and then take over the reins. This is the mainstream thinking of spirits and evil spirits.

It's not that they don't understand social etiquette, but it's their instinct.

Even if the Dragon King had secretly cultivated dragons in the past, intending to hatch them and then press the Suspended Mountain down on him?
But this spirit defied its instincts!
Following its instincts, after discovering the mystery of this conch shell, even if it didn't understand what the Mustard Seed Ferry represented, it should still keep it safe.

Even if it were to be brought out, it should be traded at a trade fair, not offered as a sacrifice to the Blood God as it is now.

Only humans are so cunning, sacrificing immediate gains for greater ones, while spirits usually swallow up the immediate benefits whole.

Of course, this could also be Li Wushou's own stereotype about spirits and monsters. Maybe there is a spirit or monster that is naturally clever and knows how to navigate human relationships?
But if he were truly so shrewd, he shouldn't have offered the Blood Bodhisattva to her face; wouldn't it have been better to offer it to her secretly?

There were too many unusual things happening today, and Li Wushou simply refused to believe it was a coincidence.

So after the old beggar explained that the mustard seed ferry in the conch shell might represent many opportunities, Li Wushou did not get as excited as Chen Gou'er, shouting that he had encountered another opportunity.

Instead, it was as if a pair of hands in the void cast a line towards Pudu Island, and the collapsed sacred domain behind the Mustard Seed Ferry was the bait hanging on the line.

So far, Li Wushou has not been able to determine whether it is the Venerable Food Master of Immortal Mountain who is fishing, or the Blood Buddha of Blood Buddha Temple who is fishing.

Just then, outside the main hall, the Buddhist bell suddenly rang.

"clang clang"

Three consecutive sounds echoed in the hall, and the oppressive atmosphere suddenly eased.

The leaders of the various forces, who had been struggling to withstand the Blood Bodhisattva's aura, were overjoyed and showed relaxed expressions.

The Nascent Soul True Lord they had notified has finally arrived!
Several ripples appeared in the void inside the main hall, and three figures quietly appeared.

Two men and one woman, all appearing to be around thirty years old, suddenly unleashed their auras the moment they appeared, directly confronting the Blood Bodhisattva's fierce and wrathful gaze.

What was initially thought to be a fierce confrontation unexpectedly took a sharp turn. The three men politely greeted the Blood Bodhisattva at the head of the table and said in unison:
"We are late in arriving for the Blood Buddha's birthday, please forgive us, Blood Bodhisattva!"

Everyone present knew perfectly well why the three had come; if they had truly come for Buddha's birthday, they shouldn't have arrived so late.

However, the Blood Bodhisattva could not refute what the three said, otherwise it would be the Blood Buddha's dignity that was damaged. With a snort, the Blood Bodhisattva slowly withdrew his pressure. He knew that it would be difficult to enjoy the Mustard Seed Ferry all to himself today.

Although he was not afraid of the three of them working together, he could not defeat them in a short time.

Since you can't enjoy it all by yourself, you need to make a decision sooner rather than later.

Having cultivated to this level, Blood Bodhisattva naturally understands the principle of being able to take things on and let them go.

The most important thing right now is to quickly collect as many benefits as possible from the fragments of the Holy Domain. Otherwise, the longer we delay, the more people will arrive, and by the time the Nascent Soul stage experts arrive, we might not even have these benefits left.

Therefore, although somewhat resentful, Blood Bodhisattva still put away his fierce gaze and kindly invited the three to sit down.

The three Nascent Soul cultivators breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing this, as it was best to avoid a fight.

They formed a temporary alliance on the way here, but they themselves were not sure how strong this alliance was.

Judging from Blood Bodhisattva's current attitude, the other party is probably afraid that things might get complicated if things drag on. So, it should be fine for them to get a share of the pie, which is great!

The three Nascent Soul cultivators walked to the seating area, and the monks waiting on one side of the hall hurriedly brought over new tables and chairs.

The leaders of the various factions were either delighted or worried. The delighted were the three factions whose Nascent Soul True Monarchs had arrived, while the worried were those whose own Nascent Soul True Monarchs were still far away and seemed to be too late.

Li Wushou watched this scene with a hint of disappointment; he had thought that the two sides would at least have a fight.

This way he can get a better look at who is actually fishing.

I didn't expect Blood Bodhisattva to compromise so quickly.

From the perspective of Blood Bodhisattva, it is certainly a smart move, but who would want to target a smart person?
As the three Nascent Soul True Monarchs took their seats, the Blood Bodhisattva accepted the conch shell offered by the spirit, expressed his gratitude to the spirit, and took out a refined blood-red eye as a return gift.

This made many of the flesh-and-blood monsters present extremely envious.

These blood-red eyes are different from ordinary ones. It takes at least a thousand eyes that have been nurtured to maturity from ordinary people to be refined. Even for the many Golden Core Arhats of the Blood Buddha Temple, they are rare treasures. They contain a large amount of blood and qi, making them a treasure that flesh and blood monsters covet.

This shocked the group of spirits who still didn't understand what this conch shell was.

With the three True Lords who rushed over, how could they not know the significance of this conch shell?

For a moment, some spirits envied the one who made the offering, some coveted the blood-red eye, but most spirits complained that the one who made the offering was too foolish.

Such a treasure was given away so easily?! Blood Bodhisattva held the conch shell and quietly sensed it for a moment, then both of their eyes showed some astonishment.

The power of the fragments of the sacred domain behind the Mustard Seed Ferry was extremely dense, making it difficult for him to see what was inside. However, judging from the outline alone, Blood Bodhisattva felt that it was almost as big as Pudu Island.

Such a large fragment of the Holy Realm could not possibly be collected quickly by just four Nascent Soul cultivators.

With a furrowed brow and a glance around the hall, Blood Bodhisattva conceived a new plan.

Placing the conch shell on the table, the Blood Bodhisattva slowly addressed the assembled crowd:
"On the occasion of Buddha's birthday, I have come across an extraordinary treasure. This conch shell contains a tiny ferry crossing that leads to a shattered sacred realm. This treasure is connected to Buddha and to all of you here. Therefore, I have decided to follow the call of the Blood Buddha and open this tiny ferry crossing, inviting everyone to enter the sacred realm and seek opportunities."

These words caused an uproar in the hall. The spirits were ignorant, but the Holy Domain had heard of them.

The world recreated by the Great Venerable is the Sacred Realm. How many opportunities will there be there?

Even a shattered sacred realm was something they couldn't even imagine in their lifetime.

I never expected to have such a wonderful opportunity just by attending Buddha's Birthday celebration.

The monsters and spirits were in a frenzy!
But some people who also lacked a solid foundation became secretly wary.

They reached this grand hall today not only because of their strength, but also because of their carefulness and vigilance.

They didn't believe that the Blood Bodhisattva would be so kind as to share such an opportunity with them.

There seems to be something strange about this sacred realm!

The three Nascent Soul cultivators who had just taken their seats on the other side quietly frowned after Blood Bodhisattva finished speaking.

They did not approve of Blood Bodhisattva's decision. What right did these things have to enter the Holy Realm with them?

Although the three did not speak, they secretly communicated with the Blood Bodhisattva through telepathy, offering their advice.

Blood Bodhisattva didn't explain, but simply waved his sleeve and handed the conch shell on the table to the three of them.

The three were taken aback, then began to investigate. After a moment, they finally understood why the Blood Bodhisattva had done this.

This fragment of the Holy Domain is too large. Is this an attempt to mobilize the power of these rogue cultivators to quickly plunder all the benefits of the Holy Domain?
The three of them began to weigh the pros and cons. Clearing out the Holy Domain as soon as possible would naturally be beneficial to them. They just happened to be stationed on Pudu Island. There were no fewer than ten forces stationed on Pudu Island at the Nascent Soul stage. Delaying it would not be good for them either.

After a quick exchange, the three replied to the Blood Bodhisattva:

"We will each take 10% of the income from these wild cultivators and spirits."

Blood Bodhisattva heard the three people's telepathic communication and nodded to himself. The price was not high and not considered exorbitant, indicating that the three people had some self-awareness. So he readily agreed.

He then continued speaking to the crowd in the hall:
"However, opportunities and dangers coexist within the Holy Domain, and I am not clear about the situation within it. Therefore, entering the Holy Domain this time depends entirely on everyone's own wishes."

If anyone who enters the Holy Domain obtains the Great Venerable's cultivation technique, Blood Buddha Temple will only make a copy and will not withhold it.

However, if we obtain rare and precious materials, Blood Buddha Temple will take 70%, and the remaining 30% will be yours to keep. This can be considered a unique way for Buddhism to save all sentient beings. What do you all think?

Upon hearing the conditions offered by the Blood Bodhisattva, the hall erupted in another uproar.

Not all forces dared to confront the Blood Buddha Temple, nor did all forces have Nascent Soul cultivators nearby to provide information.

Many people were overjoyed to hear that the Blood Bodhisattva had invited everyone to enter.

At this moment, his heart was stirred by the Great Venerable's inheritance and rare treasures mentioned by the Blood Bodhisattva.

Although 70% of the harvest was taken away very badly, the cultivation technique inheritance can be taken away. What is there to complain about?

If the main sect or immortal clan criticizes us, then who told us there are no Nascent Soul cultivators stationed here? Since our strength is inferior to theirs, achieving even 30% is already quite good!
As for spirits and monsters, needless to say, they not only felt they were not being exploited, but also felt that the conditions were far too generous.

Putting yourself in their shoes, firstly, they definitely wouldn't open it up; secondly, even if they did, letting you take even 10% would be considered a merciful act.

Therefore, they praised the Blood Buddha Temple loudly.

As for those who had just been wary and worried that something strange was amiss in the Holy Domain, they now hesitated.

Blood Bodhisattva made it clear that opportunities and risks coexist within the Holy Domain, and whether or not one enters is entirely voluntary. Moreover, this matter was extremely accidental and should not be some kind of ulterior motive.

Even the Blood Buddha Temple probably wouldn't dare to designate so many forces here, as it includes not only rogue cultivators but also major forces from the Fubo Domain.

I'm just a random cultivator, I probably don't have the face to make these forces bother with their schemes.

Thinking this way, many people began to lower their guard and prepared to follow the major and minor forces of Fubo Domain if they really entered later, hoping to seize the opportunity.

The Blood Bodhisattva observed the crowd's reactions and, after they had digested the news, spoke again:
"Finally, to ensure everyone's safety as much as possible, I will provide each of you who enters with a protective eye."

Everyone's hearts tightened. This Dharma Eye was supposed to protect them, but it was probably more of a surveillance device.
Everyone knew the truth, but there was no reason to refuse. Refusing the Dharma Eye would undoubtedly mean refusing entry into the Holy Realm. Otherwise, how could they verify that the final 30% truly represented 30%?

Blood Bodhisattva did not give everyone time to react or think. After speaking, he slowly stood up and took the conch shell to the fingertips of the Blood Buddha behind him.

With hands clasped together, he chanted a Buddhist prayer: "May the Blood Buddha have mercy and deliver all sentient beings!"

The chanting of Buddhist hymns echoed in the main hall. The two faces of the Blood Bodhisattva slowly cracked, and the kind and benevolent face slowly shrank into the flesh, while the wrathful Vajra occupied the entire head.

The flesh between the eyebrows writhed, and a kind-faced man the size of an egg slowly emerged from between the eyebrows and appeared on the forehead.

Blood Bodhisattva surveyed the scene and spoke in a loud voice:
"Those who wish to enter the Holy Domain, rise!"

The main hall was bustling with activity, and within two breaths everyone stood up.

The three Nascent Soul True Monarchs, the strange family of three, and even the boy with heterochromatic eyes whose cultivation level was unknown, all stood up.

Of course, there's also Li Wushou, the Paper Goddess, and the Tree Goddess.

From the discovery of Mustard Seed Ferry to the arrival of the Nascent Soul True Monarch, and then to the Blood Bodhisattva's invitation to everyone to enter the Holy Domain, everything was extremely reasonable.

From all sides' perspectives, this result seems perfectly reasonable, and even Li Wushou couldn't find anything wrong with it.

But something just isn't right.

After learning that the conch shell contained a mustard seed ferry that connected to a sacred realm, Li Wushou did not see any frustration or annoyance on the spirit's face.

A spirit, yet filled with a nonchalant sense of "if I gain it, I am fortunate; if I lose it, it is my fate."

Is this right?
Seeing everyone stand up, Li Wushou became even more convinced that someone had exploited the people's desire for profit to orchestrate a scheme.

Regardless of whether this person is the Blood Buddha or the Venerable Food Master Li Wushou, he intends to go in and take a look.

Blood Buddha has not yet reached the Great Venerable realm, and Venerable Eater is limited by the constraints of heaven and earth. Even if he were to force his way out, his strength would likely be comparable to that of the Porcelain Venerable from last time.

As long as you don't kill yourself, you can always run away.

The Blood Bodhisattva stood before the Blood Buddha statue. Seeing everyone rise, he nodded slightly and said, "Good!"

Then he clasped his hands together again and shouted:
"Please, discerning eye!"

The moment the voice fell, a blood-red Buddha figure slowly rose from behind the Blood Bodhisattva. The Buddha figure leaned back and immediately overlapped with the body of the Blood Buddha.

"buzzing"

The Buddha's body trembled, and a buzzing sound rang out. The eyes piled on the Buddha's body suddenly came to life, blinking wildly like the eyes of a living person.

The crowd who looked up instantly felt countless gazes emanating from the Buddha's body.

Even spirits and monsters felt a sense of dread at this moment.

They were already strange, but the Blood Buddha's body gave them an even stranger feeling.

A moment later, a rustling sound came from the Buddha's body.

The lively eyeballs bounced and fell from the Buddha's body, flying towards the standing crowd, one for each person, quite evenly distributed.

Another eye jumped over to Li Wushou. He picked it up and examined it. This eye was also strange. It was made of bronze, but it was filled with the aura of flesh and blood, which should be related to the blood paint on its surface.

As he examined those eyes, he also sensed a scrutinizing and scrutinizing aura emanating from them.

"As expected, it's for surveillance purposes," Li Wushou muttered to himself, but he didn't take it seriously and casually picked up the eye and started playing with it.

Of course, not everyone in the arena received the Dharma Eye; the three Nascent Soul cultivators and the six members of their respective factions were not assigned the Dharma Eye.

Everyone could see clearly that the three Nascent Soul True Monarchs must have reached other agreements with the Blood Bodhisattva.

This is the benefit of strength; there's nothing to complain about. Who can blame us for not being strong enough, either ourselves or the forces we belong to?
However, other forces with Nascent Soul cultivators stationed there were quite helpless, as their Nascent Soul True Monarchs could not return in time.

This resulted in them being directly excluded from the core interest area!
Blood Bodhisattva clearly had no intention of waiting any longer. After distributing the Dharma Eyes, he put his hands together and chanted the Buddha's name again. Behind him, the Blood Buddha statue's finger-like hand moved slightly and crushed the Dharma Conch.

Ripples suddenly appeared in front of the Blood Buddha, and a void vortex slowly emerged.

Blood Bodhisattva and the three Nascent Soul True Monarchs took a step and disappeared into the vortex.

The others followed suit without hesitation, and once all the major forces had entered, the hall erupted in a frenzy of activity.

Seeing that there were fewer and fewer people, Li Wushou whispered to the Tree Goddess and Paper Goddess beside him:

"Let's go, let's see what this sacred place looks like!"

One more chapter has been put into review and will probably be ready tomorrow. Please don't wait.
