Wizards: Starting with Synthetic Gems

Chapter 961 Rejecting the Witch King's Legacy

Chapter 961 Rejecting the Witch King's Legacy
Locke examined the power of the third World Leaf. Each World Leaf, in addition to containing the second-level magical pressure that all World Leaves possess, has a unique energy-locking structure. His first World Leaf possessed the power of energy concentration, which is a blade that can concentrate all magical pressure to a single point. The energy-locking structure of his second World Leaf was life force enhancement, which is a blade that can enhance life energy. This is also the foundation of his Tree of Prosperity.

Locke looked at the third World Leaf in his hand. At this moment, under his stimulation, the World Leaf automatically combined and transformed into a blade, which was wrapped in flames and high temperature.

"This is an enhancement of fire power."

Locke pondered, but his Three-Eyed Tiger Cat lacked fire attributes and was completely unable to harness the power of the World Tree Leaf.

But there's nothing we can do about it.

Each World Tree leaf is unique and one of a kind. It's already considered lucky to have obtained three. Some wizards, even when they encounter World Tree leaves, don't realize they are World Tree leaves and thus miss their chance.

You cannot choose the attributes of the World Tree Leaf.

"If all else fails, I'll try to add some fire magic attributes to my Three-Eyed Tiger Cat bloodline. That way, I won't waste the energy-locking structure of the third World Tree leaf."

Locke said.

At this point, if they want to continue to improve, they need to strengthen and complete these two bloodlines on their own. The simplest way is to graft the magic power of a fire-attribute magical plant onto the Three-Eyed Tiger Cat, based on the relationship between the Demonic Dragon bloodline and the Golden Sacred Peach.

However, the only fire-attribute magical plant he possessed was Pinellia ternata, but Pinellia ternata is a magical plant of the Araceae family, which is not compatible with the bloodline of the Three-Eyed Tiger Cat.

Moreover, Banxia's summer imagery is too strong. At her current stage, she is very susceptible to the influence of her own magical power, which could affect her ultimate magic and the forging of it, thus leading her astray.

Locke pondered, "Besides that, I also need to find the whereabouts of the fourth World Leaf. Currently, because of the use of the Twin Branches technique, the Three-Eyed Tiger Cat bloodline is carrying two World Leaves, so the current magic pressure of my Three-Eyed Tiger Cat bloodline is 20,000. If I can find the fourth World Leaf, it may be possible to break through the upper limit of the Star Ring and reach the Moon Ring."

"Of course, I first need to become a Moon Ring Wizard and obtain the fourth World Leaf before I can push the Three-Eyed Tiger Cat bloodline into the Moon Ring. In this process, I can use magical grafting to graft the Three-Eyed Tiger Cat bloodline imagery onto a specific magical plant. To be honest, this requires me to be proficient in both potion-making and breeding, because under normal circumstances, it is impossible for the physical form of something to be connected with the imagery of a bloodline."

"Only when I have mastered Ling Hongxue to a certain level can I do this. However, with my current level, I can only graft the imagery magic of a bloodline onto a second-ring demonic plant."

Speaking of which, I have to thank Neptune for those lessons. Her teaching on spiritual philosophy really improved my spiritual philosophy level to a great extent, especially the application of potions related to name potions.

Locke picked up this leaf from the world.

This harvest was perfect. Not only did we obtain a spiritual plant that may only exist in the Age of Stars, but we also obtained the third World Leaf.

At the same time, Locke heard a scream. He turned to look at Douglas and saw that Douglas was covered in blood. The lightning from the warhammer had mixed into his blood, creating a special reaction. This blood gradually condensed and slowly coalesced into a new body for the Witch King Lagmamon.

Locke was taken aback for a moment.

For a moment, he even thought that this so-called inheritance was a trap set by the ancient witch king, who only wanted to possess Douglas.

However, if that's the case, I don't need to be afraid, because even if this Witch King is resurrected, he probably won't be able to recover much power. I can judge whether to fight or make a deal with him based on his condition.

Locke quickly dismissed the idea, believing he was a good judge of character. He thought the Witch King Lagmamon wouldn't be so petty; otherwise, he wouldn't have risked eternal slumber to fight off the Dark Lord for him and Douglas.

The new body of the Witch King Lagmamon looks like that of a teenager, actually 16 years old. Because it is a clone formed from blood, Locke cannot see his appearance clearly, but he can still notice that the Witch King has a natural feminine appearance.

'While my eyes cannot see the hidden true forms of all things like the Dark Lord, they can still discern some general outlines.'

Locke thought, 'Through that blood-soaked golem, I must have seen the spiritual form of the Witch-King Lagmamon.'

Was King Lagmamon not yet an adult when he died?

wrong.

No matter how gifted he is, a sixteen-year-old third-ring wizard is still too exaggerated. Unless he is a born third-ring life form, even if he were Old Deng reincarnated, he could not do it. There must be some special reason why he retains the appearance of a sixteen-year-old boy.

King Lagmamon seemed to have some doubts on his face, but being naturally aloof, even though he was extremely anxious inside, he didn't show too much anxiety on his face.

"Douglas, how are you feeling now? Don't give up hope. I've taken away some of the energy from your cells by creating puppet clones."

"You have to persevere. If you give up hope, your body will collapse in an instant."

Douglas tilted his head back, opened his mouth, and roared. The next moment, a bolt of lightning shot out of his throat.

The lightning bolt struck the sky and automatically formed a warhammer. The lightning-shaped warhammer smashed towards Locke, but before it could get close, it was blocked by Locke's permanent defensive force field.

Locke squinted as he observed Douglas's condition.

"Do you want him to use the Five Elements Reversal to retain his own life force in order to compensate for his insufficient life energy accumulation, which prevents him from supporting the Warhammer Lightning?"

"His problem now is that in the state of 'Gold Returning to Earth,' Warhammer Lightning is gold, and Warhammer Lightning amplified the gold element within him... causing the Five Elements Reversal Permanent Defense Force Field to lose control."

King Lagma looked at Locke and nodded, saying, "It's troublesome not being able to say your name. Your spiritual knowledge has become even more profound."

Locke then noticed that the magical legacy of the Lightning Gate actually contained a direct path to the Third Ring from the very beginning. This was truly worthy of being the legacy of the Royal Court, one of the four magical kingdoms that had almost unified the wizarding world and ended the Age of Stars. The reversal of the five elements in the Lightning Gate inherently contained the idea of turning the impossible into the possible.

So this is a genuine three-ring heritage!
Douglas had such a great opportunity.

Locke suddenly laughed. If the Brandy Wizard knew about this, he would probably be driven mad with jealousy.

If he had known all this earlier, he wouldn't have cared about any special grants; he would probably have focused all his attention on Douglas.

However, the magical inheritance of this Lightning Gate is truly perilous, as it uses such a high-magic-pressure energy artifact as a means of magical inheritance.

Locke circled Douglas once and said, "Witch King, is there anything we can do to help him?"

King Lagmamon's eyes brightened slightly.

“There’s another way right now. The magical inheritance isn’t so important anymore; saving Douglas’s life is what matters. Place your palm on his body and take half of the Warhammer Lightning from him. That way, you can also have the Warhammer Lightning energy, and he should be able to withstand the remaining half of the Warhammer Lightning magical inheritance.”

"In this way, the problem is solved. However, the legacy of my Lightning Gate will be incomplete from now on. The complete Warhammer Lightning is the starting point for opening the legacy of the Lightning Gate. In this way, it will probably be difficult to restore it in the future. And even if Douglas can break through to become a second-circle wizard in the future, his potential will be exhausted."

"But this is good for you. With Warhammer Lightning, you will become even more powerful."

King Lagmamon said regretfully, "I always thought you were a better successor, but unfortunately I met Douglas first, instead of you."

Locke knew that when he gave him the Attila's Chain Lightning spell model, he already had this kind of idea in mind.

Locke looked at Douglas and fell silent. After a while, he said decisively, "I refuse."

King Lagmamon asked in surprise, "Why? Half of the energy of the Warhammer Lightning would be very useful to you. Moreover, with this energy, you can inscribe even more powerful lightning magic on your Great Blue Leaf Dragonfly's magical plant."

"This is entirely beneficial for you; you can also save Douglas."

King Lagmamon asked curiously, "Why not do it?"

Could it be that the Five Thunder Magic, the treasure of their Lightning Gate, is nothing special to Locke, and he doesn't covet it at all?

Locke pointed to Douglas, who was still gritting his teeth and persevering, and said, "Because Douglas hasn't chosen to give up yet, and I don't want to confuse my magical power. The Five Thunder Magic is too powerful; if I learn it, it will affect my magical path. Therefore, I don't want to accept the Warhammer Lightning inheritance. Besides... if I can get Douglas to accept the complete Warhammer Lightning inheritance, and then have him enchant the Great Azure Leaf Dragon Sparrow for me, wouldn't I get a better enchantment without confusing my magical path?"

Locke said, "This is truly a win-win situation. This is what is called division of labor. In this day and age, no wizard would be crazy enough to want to become a polymath and thus reduce their potential."

King Lagmamon gave a wry smile.

"You really are... you don't even have the slightest bit of greed for such a powerful ancient magical inheritance."

The young witch king's eyes revealed his wariness of Locke. Locke's choice just now had made him involuntarily wary of Locke.

The Witch-King Lagmamon felt an unusual sense of loss of control because he realized he seemed to have seriously misjudged Locke.

'Originally, I planned for Douglas to accept the inheritance, but if he cannot, I can divide it in two, keeping half for him and giving the other half to this wizard.'

'No matter what happens, I won't lose out.'

'I had assumed that no wizard would refuse such a free benefit, but this person has far exceeded my expectations.'

The Witch-King Lagma pondered, "Indeed, if Douglas could fully receive the inheritance and serve him, he could create a better Attila's Chain Lightning enchantment, but that depends on Douglas's ability to receive the complete inheritance and his willingness to help him afterward."

'Does this person really believe that Douglas, after becoming a second-circle wizard, will still listen to him and won't harbor any rebellious thoughts?'

King Lagmamon stood with his hands behind his back, looking at Locke with a scrutinizing gaze.

'If he possesses such magnanimity and breadth of mind, then what was I to him in the past?'

Before King Lagmamon lay a host of political conspiracies: for the throne of the most powerful wizard, humans turned into monsters, monsters disguised themselves as humans, fathers and sons killed each other, brothers fought each other, elders worried about the desires of their children, and children feared the harm inflicted by their elders.

All the things of the past seem so ugly and unbearable in the face of Locke's actions.

King Lagmamon sighed, then spoke in a youthful voice, different from before and unmasked, a voice as ethereal as a secluded orchid in a valley, remarkably androgynous.

“You need to hurry if you want to save him. And I don’t think the success rate is very high. Although you are a potion master, our Badachria Royal Court has asked many wizards to try to solve the problem of the high mortality rate of inheritance, but none of them have a complete solution.”

Locke observed Douglas's condition. At this moment, if Douglas had even the slightest thought of giving up, he would be completely overwhelmed by the warhammer lightning energy within his body.

The problem lies in the fact that his permanent defensive force field was overwhelmed by an excessive amount of metal energy due to the reversal of the five elements.

Locke instinctively took out a bottle of Holy Spring Dew potion, but immediately had a bad feeling. He saw in his mind the image of Douglas drinking the potion and the explosion that followed.

"Yes. My Holy Spring Dew potion is a super-powerful first-level restorative potion made from seven special lichens that I cultivated. But the problem is that it's a water-based energy, and within his Five Elements Reversal Permanent Defense Field, water magic will be reversed into metal magic..."

'If I dared to give it to him, he would die the next moment.'

'The wizards' permanent defensive fields each have their own characteristics, and I need to consider this more carefully, because this would be equivalent to each wizard having a different physical condition.'

'The main problem now is to help his Five Elements reverse and return to normal, which would ideally involve extracting the metal energy transformed from the warhammer lightning. If that's the case, what can I do?'

'This is likely a subtraction problem, not an addition problem.'

Locke was dumbfounded. He had always used potions to heal, strengthen, or weaken himself or others, but no matter the option, he would always give the other person a potion. However, the magical energy circulation in Douglas's body was very complex, so he had to think carefully before giving him any potion.

The only real subtraction potion he could think of was to use potion-making fire to extract the energy from Douglas's body.

However, considering that this would easily turn Douglas to ashes, Locke did not act rashly.

"Ok?"

Locke's mind stirred slightly, and he saw the spiritual plant he had hibernated, the Pagoda Broccoli, automatically emerge from his Astral Ring and float in front of him.

Can you solve this?

Locke sensed a pulse within the pagoda-shaped broccoli, a pulse of life stirring within it, as if it were eager to leap forth.

It is telling itself that it can solve this problem for itself.

Locke immediately used the [One Tree Cannot Support] spell model, wanting to use this general botanical spell model to unleash the power of this magical plant. The magical plant, which was in a hibernation state, floated in mid-air and slowly rotated. Then, the magical plant floated above Douglas.

Locke frowned.

"My energy blends seamlessly with that of this magical plant, giving it a spirituality that seems different from ordinary magical plants."

This special soul-demon plant certainly holds many secrets.

This autonomy is something I have never seen in any other magical plant, not even the Tree of Life. But why was it eliminated?
The pagoda-shaped broccoli covering Douglas's head slowly rotated. The broccoli's root was hollow, and some solid roots had grown out of the inner surface of the hollow root. At this moment, the pagoda-shaped broccoli was rotating above Douglas's head, and then suddenly released a terrifying suction force, and the surrounding magical tide concentration gradient was constantly flowing towards the pagoda-shaped broccoli.

Meanwhile, the energy in Douglas's body was being absorbed by the pagoda broccoli.

However, the pagoda broccoli could not distinguish the specific type of energy in his body, so all magical power was being absorbed.

Because there is too much metal energy in the reversal of the five elements, it cannot circulate. Therefore, metal energy is most likely to dissipate. So at this moment, the excess energy on Douglas's body is being absorbed by the pagoda-shaped broccoli on his head.

The hollow pagoda-shaped broccoli, with a concave base and a unique energy-locking structure, was constantly absorbing energy from Douglas.

Locke quickly realized that this special root could absorb energy remotely without touching the target.

"I remember a very rare energy-locking structure on the roots of plants. Only a very rare few magical plants have a similar structure. This should be a kind of hollow root."

"The Pagoda Broccoli actually has such a rare plant root energy-locking structure."

"Hollow roots can absorb energy from others remotely. So that's how this pagoda-shaped broccoli is used."

Douglas slowly stood up from the ground. "Thank you."

Two bolts of lightning shot from his eyes, then his wizard robes were destroyed by the lightning, his hair stood on end, and balls of lightning energy appeared on his hands and legs. He floated in mid-air, with excess energy constantly dissipating from his eyes.

However, those were all excess magical energy within his body, not Warhammer Lightning.

Locke glanced at Douglas, and then he saw that, under the infusion of these energies, imaginary roots were slowly growing from the inner wall of the hollow root of his pagoda-shaped broccoli.

At the same time, the absorbed energy was not only used to restore the imaginary root, but it also seemed to open up space inside the pagoda broccoli.

The next moment, Locke's attention was drawn to the pagoda-shaped broccoli. Within it, he saw a vast, empty space, and inside, a fragment of a plane had spontaneously appeared. This fragment, like a seed of a demiplane, absorbed the excess magical power from Douglas and began to develop, gradually growing into a true demiplane.

Locke's figure turned into a straight line and was sucked into the pagoda-shaped broccoli.

Even the Witch King Lagmamon couldn't stop it in time.

"Well... now look what's happened. We came here together, one of us is missing and the other has been sucked in by a cauliflower."

"It's me, a mere remnant soul, who has actually gained a body that can move."

King Lagmamon had a strange expression on his face.

'If I use the ritual magic of the Tower of the Black Sun again, I should be able to create a usable body.'

'If I were ambitious enough to be resurrected, I could certainly cause trouble right now. But, alas, I had the mind to cause trouble when I was first resurrected, but now I'm only thinking about training new people.'

The body formed from Douglas's blood looked up at Douglas.

'Douglas, how far can you really go?'

'I am a person from the past, and I have lost the ambition to be the protagonist of this era. What I want most right now is to see just how far you can go. As for me... a remnant soul hunted by the Tower of the Black Sun, I'm not too bad off as I am now.'

Within the dimensional fragment space of the Pagoda Broccoli, Locke looked up at the core of this dimension, where a phantom spirit floated.

"Is this... instructing me to place a magical plant with which I have formed a magical graft relationship into it?"

Locke's expression was strange.

He left the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow behind him here. This Great Crying Dragon Sparrow has been enchanted with Attila's Lightning Chain, making it not only a flying magical plant but also a flying combat magical plant.

At this moment, the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow hovered and danced in the sky like a firebird, and then a whirlwind of flames appeared around it.

The next moment, it vanished from its spot, transforming into a fiery bird that adorned the sky above this dimensional fragment.

"I see."

Locke said, "This demiplane is something like a flowerpot or nursery that was nurtured by the Pagoda Broccoli. So a magical plant can be placed here, and it can be planted inside the magical plant."

"When I encounter a powerful enemy, I can not only absorb their energy, but also temporarily store them in this space inside the pagoda broccoli during the battle. At this time, the magical plant I placed here becomes the key. This magical plant serves to suppress this layer of space, and at the same time, it is necessary to suppress and attack the enemy to disintegrate their resistance and force them to dissipate their energy during the battle in order to accelerate the absorption of their energy."

Locke's expression was strange.

"This spiritual plant is incredibly mysterious, but it is indeed extremely powerful."

He looked around. "I still need to work on this part of the space."

Because it is too fragile.

The hardened part is the pagoda broccoli, a second-ring magical plant, not this dimensional fragment space. Currently, the strength of this dimensional fragment space is far too weak. Even a first-class wizard apprentice might have a chance to break through this space with maximum output.

There's nothing we can do about it; after all, it's only a demiplane, not even a fragment of a plane.

However, things will be much better after the flying weapon, the magical plant Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow, is placed inside. At least any ordinary formal wizard who enters will be instantly suppressed by this magical plant.

Locke pondered that he could use the Garden Cave to strengthen this space in the future, otherwise the space was too fragile, which greatly reduced the practicality of the pagoda broccoli. Fortunately, he had the spiritual energy cultivation technique from later generations, which could strengthen the space in turn.

Locke looked the space up and down, determined to transform it into an indestructible garden paradise, which would then become the most terrifying weapon.

Moreover, I might be able to use the unique environment here to conduct some experiments.

Locke left the space and saw that the reversal of the five elements on Douglas's body had returned to its basic normal operation.

Half an hour later, Douglas, wielding a huge iron hammer-shaped lightning bolt, slowly descended from the sky, his eyes still occasionally releasing tiny lightning bolts.

He first bowed to King Lagmamon, and then bowed to Locke.

At this moment, Douglas's eyes were filled with fatigue, a strand of white hair appeared on his head, and his body began to decline.

He entered a period of spiritual decline.

This is the path a first-circle wizard must take to advance to a second-circle wizard.

Every day the demonic pressure grows stronger, every day the aura grows weaker.

King Lagmamon said, “It’s good that you’re back. Now you have mastered the Warhammer Lightning. All the lightning magic you cast from now on will be enhanced. Your deficiency in the Five Elements Reversal has been corrected, and your potential has been increased. You now have the hope of advancing to become a second-circle wizard.”

Douglas said in a deep voice, "Teacher, I am still far from breaking through to become a second-circle wizard. With my talent, it will take at least ten to fifteen years, right?"

King Lagmamon said, “You’re being too optimistic. I think if you’re not on Mount Golden Crown, it might take more than fifty years, and on Mount Golden Crown it should take about twenty years. But if you stay in the Red Dragon Witch’s laboratory for a long time, it will be a different story.”

"We've always reaped a lot, haven't we?"

"So it will take about ten to fifteen years."

Douglas said, “But I want to progress faster. Teacher, I remember you said there are five types of lightning at the Lightning Gate, and the Warhammer Lightning is only one. What is the second one?”

King Lagmamon looked at Douglas with surprise and asked, "You just went through a life-or-death crisis. You almost died just now. Aren't you afraid?"

"Alright, I'll tell you then, it's Green Dragon Lightning. But the other four lightning bolts no longer exist in this world, although there should be manufacturing methods in the inheritance you just received. Each manufacturing method requires a large amount of magical resources. For example, Green Dragon Lightning requires a Green Dragon's claw to be manufactured."

Douglas said in a low voice, "I see. Then my next step is to gather the magical resources to create the Green Dragon Lightning as soon as possible."

Douglas looked at Locke and said, "Boss, thank you for helping me this time. I should thank you too."

Locke's attention was drawn to the enormous orc skeletons.

"What are you thanking me for?"

Douglas said, “Thank you for choosing to believe in me instead of draining half of the Warhammer Lightning’s energy. Thank you for encouraging me to keep searching for life when I was about to give up.”

"Without you and my teacher, I probably wouldn't have been able to withstand the energy of Warhammer Lightning and persevere to the end to obtain this legacy."

Douglas bowed to Locke again.

"Boss, thank you for respecting my choice and guiding me toward a better future."

"In return, I want to join your Aladdin Shop Alliance and work for you."

Locke said, "Let's not talk about rewards or anything like that. One thing is one thing. Favors and transactions should be kept separate. You want to gather magical resources to create the second Five Thunderbolts, which requires a lot of magical resources. I can offer you a job, a designer job at the Aladdin Shop Alliance. That way you should be able to earn some money, and we'll each get what we need."

Douglas paused for a moment, then drew upon his inherited memories and explained the approximate amount of magical resources needed.

Locke frowned.

"If you want to forge the Green Dragon Lightning within ten years, I'm afraid you'll need to spend around two hundred million magic stones."

Douglas turned pale.

He was struck dumb.

"This……"

He looked at King Lagmamon.

King Lagmamon's expression remained unchanged.

"Yes, the method of creating Five Thunders was originally based on the method of our Imperial Court that spared no expense. This amount of money is only relative to the current era. In this era, many magical materials that were expensive in the past are now cheap mass-produced products. In the past, the price required to create Five Thunders was much higher."

“My original plan was for you to gradually become a second-circle wizard while collecting magical resources in the process. Then I would spend some time with you modifying the crafting method of the Green Dragon Lightning to reduce the resources required to craft it. But if you want to become a second-circle wizard faster, I support you, it will just be more difficult for you.”

"Of course, I can still work with you to simplify the crafting process and costs of the Green Dragon Lightning. It's just that there's too little time, so it's difficult for me to achieve anything significant."

Locke reminded Douglas, "Don't forget, in the modern age of magic you can get funding. If you can officially join Golden Crown Mountain or a certain academy and take up a teaching position, you can use the lightning you created, Green Dragon Lightning, to apply for some funding."

Locke said, "The funding provided by general grants is certainly very small, but if you can get into a key laboratory and utilize its resources, you can save on a lot of the costs associated with those resources."

"The foundation system of the modern magical age is designed to help us young wizards realize our better ideas."

A glimmer of hope appeared in Douglas's eyes.

Locke said, "In addition, my Aladdin Shop Alliance can give you a designer position with a base salary plus commission. We can discuss the specific contract when we get back. But in any case, if you can produce products that sell well, you will break even quickly."

The hope in Douglas's eyes grew even stronger.

Locke had to admit that using money to motivate employees was incredibly effective.

In this way, Douglas will work very hard in his Aladdin Shop Alliance and will not slack off.

If you try to bind him with so-called gratitude instead of considering his own interests, then no matter how much gratitude you show, it will eventually be exhausted, and he will develop resentment towards you.

Lagmamon the Witch-King said, "By the way, if we take into account the fund system and the resources you can obtain through it, perhaps I can reduce the cost of creating the Green Dragon Lightning to fifty million magic stones. Of course, this still requires a lot of money. You'd better work hard in Aladdin and create one or two super hit products. That way, you'll have enough money."

Douglas asked in confusion, "Teacher, why can you bet so much money?"

Locke also looked at King Lagmamon with a puzzled expression.

King Lagmamon explained to the two, "Most of the cost is spent on building high-level magic arrays, which are available in many advanced laboratories. If we could enter several advanced laboratories and piece things together... perhaps we could create a magic array capable of creating green dragon lightning. I only realized this after hearing what you said."

Locke coughed.

King Lagmamon said, "However, if you want to do it my way, even if you don't need to get special funding, you will need to enter a high-level academy of knowledge and apply for several first-class project funds."

"In other words, it would be a waste to use many advanced magic arrays as one-time use items. Therefore, we don't need to build them from scratch."

Douglas was incredibly excited. "I never expected there to be this trick up my sleeve."

King Lagmamon also sighed, "It's because the way you acquire resources in your time is much simpler than it was for us back then."

Locke pointed to the giant orc skull and asked, "Witch King, what is this?"

King Lagma glanced at it and said, "Oh. It's the corpse of a Red Orc."

Locke frowned, thought for a moment, and realized that he had never heard of an intelligent subspecies of orcs called the Red Orcs.

Lagmamon the Witch-King said, "They are natives of the Orcish Great World. In the past, they were a Void nomadic race that conquered other planes. During the Age of Stars, they invaded the Wizarding World when we were in decline."

"When the Badakria Royal Court went to war with them, tens of thousands of wizards died. These orcs possessed a racial talent for spatial leaping, which allowed them to move quickly across the land of our wizarding world, which was then filled with magical kingdoms. Our army, on the other hand, moved slowly because of the magical kingdoms that filled the land. Every time we passed a checkpoint, we needed the confirmation and consent of the wizard master of that kingdom."

"As a result, these red orcs move like the wind, while we move within our own territory at a slower pace than they can when they enter our world via Void Orc warships. This led to our world being invaded and plundered by these red orcs for a very long time."

Locke asked, "Then why didn't I see any of these red orcs when I was excavating the [Heliotus Royal Court]?"

King Lagmamon raised his young, handsome eyebrows, his voice soft and androgynous.

"The Royal Court of Heliotos? Never heard of it. Besides, the title 'Royal Court' was only established after eleven consecutive generations of genius kings in Badachria. It's a title given to our magical kingdom by outsiders."

"However, if this royal court appeared after our Badachrian royal court, then it can be explained. Perhaps after our royal court, every overlord of the Age of Stars will be given the title of royal court."

"But I have completely dealt with the Red Orcs."

Lagmamon the Witch-King said, "Because the Red Orcs' spatial teleportation ability is too troublesome, and I also realized that the magical kingdoms scattered across the land have become an obstacle, I used the power of the Royal Court to begin the necessary unification process."

"As long as we bring all those magical kingdoms under the control of our [Badaklia Royal Court], we won't be slowed down by the vastness of our kingdoms when we mobilize our armies, preventing us from being put on the defensive by those red orcs. After unifying one-third of the wizarding world, I launched a war against the orcish world. I successfully sealed that world, killed most of its powerful beings, and destroyed the [elemental coupling channels] that would naturally form between that world and other planes."

"In this way, the Great World of Orcs is sealed by me. The only remaining elemental coupling channel of that world was left behind and sealed here as well."

Locke's eyes lit up. "That means that although the entrance to this treasure land is blocked by the Dark Evil King, there is still an exit."

King Lagmamon paused for a moment. “Yes. You can understand it that way.”

"However, so many years have passed, I don't know how the Orcish World is doing now. But before I withdrew my troops, I left behind enough conflicts and hidden dangers in the Orcish World, as well as garrisoned wizards. I believe that under my arrangements at the time, the Orcish World should not have recovered its strength yet."

"Therefore, we may indeed be able to travel to that world through this naturally occurring dimensional portal in the Orcish Great World, and then return to the Wizarding World from there, thus avoiding the Dark Lord."

Locke said, "It's settled then. Douglas, let's go."

He looked at a stone gate next to a peach tree at the very center of this treasure land. It was clearly a sealed magical gate, which was probably the location of the natural dimensional passage to the orc world.
