Rumors circulated that the Southern Precinct had threatened to create a special task force for Theodore, reporting directly to the precinct chief, for him to lead and solve cases on his own.

This is equivalent to being on equal footing with Wenner.

This rumor was a bit exaggerated. Later, an insider from the South Precinct confirmed that their precinct had indeed promised to create a task force around Theodore.

However, the operational model is that the branch office will assign a supervisor to be responsible for work coordination, and Theodore only needs to focus on solving cases.

The South District is a middle-class area, where the pressure to solve cases is much greater than in the West District, a place teeming with scoundrels.

He was a middle-aged man with a build very similar to Wenner, but more amiable and always smiling, like a Maitreya Buddha.

He introduced himself as Ricky Cullinan, and told Theodore to just call him Ricky.

Ricky showed no airs of a manager and personally drove the two to the crime scene.

“Rickie, you mean the case only happened today?!” Bernie asked.

Ricky greeted the patrol officers on duty by the roadside with a smile, saying, "Please call me Supervisor Cullinan or Mr. Cullinan."

"Yes, the case was discovered early this morning."
