Chapter 252 Avando's Countermeasure
After listening to Elian's entire account, the two gods, Ain and Rabelas, exchanged a glance, their expressions more solemn than ever before.

Rabelas had a vague idea that Elion's access to so much information might not have been entirely due to eavesdropping on the conversation between Marchekid and the High Priestess of the Bewitching God; there might have been more to it.

Is this seemingly ordinary mortal mage supported by another true god or an equally powerful being?

Seeing the longevity of the elves and the god of history, Rabelas, resting his chin on his hand as if deep in thought, Elian further reminded him:

The longevity of this elf and the god of history recalled once again the ripples in the river of time that he had observed about 30 years ago.

About 30 years ago, a conspiracy targeting the gods of Sidreen, or perhaps even just himself, began to be plotted.

Seeing that Rabelas had indeed come to this conclusion, Elion smiled knowingly.

Indeed, he also suspected that one of the key reasons why the High Priestess of the Bewitching Goddess joined [Sidrian's Enemy] might be—

The god of time, Rabelas, who killed Avando, was a true god who was suspected to be a time traveler!

I apologize, Your Excellency, Lord of Continuous Unity. You may have been mistaken for me, which is why you were targeted by the Outer Gods...
