Chapter 198 The Tiger, in Control

Chapter 198 The Tiger, in Control

Behind the police car.

"How about we shoot him twice more?"

The zoo's experts nervously explained, "This is a tiger, so big, two shots wouldn't be enough to take it down."

Just a couple of years ago, there was a case in China where a tiger ran into a village in Northeast China.

The forestry bureau was dispatched, and they were stabbed twice.

As it turned out, the tiger was perfectly fine and roamed around for another ten minutes or so.

He seized another opportunity and fired two more shots, and after a while, he finally took him down.

The two shots fired so far have had no effect whatsoever.

"Don't!"

Zhao Hongjie raised his hand.

The tiger has calmed down for now. If we fire two more shots, wouldn't that just provoke it again?

As he spoke, he peeked out again.

"Xiao Shen, how are you?" He knew Shen Xin, of course, and asked softly.

"Director Zhao, get a few ducks, I'll feed them to him."

Shen Xin shouted.

Now I'm frozen in place, afraid to move.

After thinking it over, Shen Xin still felt he should feed him again.

Just like Zhao Tianxing said, once they're fed, they won't eat people anymore.

Moreover, if feeding it makes my abilities effective and I gain favor with it, the tiger won't bite me anymore, making it easier for me to escape.

Zhao Hongjie quickly replied, "Duck."

A special police officer scaled the wall and entered the yard, quickly dropping out two ducks.

Then it was passed over and handed to Shen Xin across the police car.

"Have it!"

Shen Xin shouted loudly, attracting the tiger's attention once again.

Then, after taking a good look, it threw the duck, whose neck had already been snapped, into its mouth.

"it is good!"

Shen Xin shouted again.

This is the tiger performing acrobatics, and Tian Haiming praises their commands.

The tiger saw the duck, slowly got up, and began to eat it.

That gaping maw and those fangs were truly terrifying.

Then, Kuang Guorong poked his head out and said, "Shen Xin, I'll free up a special police car. Are you confident you can get it in?"

There aren't many options right now.

Either everyone scatters, then you give it two more tranquilizer shots and let it run around until the tranquilizer takes effect.

However, it's uncertain when it will take effect. If someone runs far away and encounters another person, or even attacks someone, there are too many uncontrollable factors.

Or just kill them outright.

But at least it's a life.

So Kuang Guorong came up with another plan: to see if Shen Xin could take the tiger into the SWAT vehicle and lock it up inside.

Shen Xin stared at the tiger.

In the blink of an eye, a duck was gone.

That's definitely not enough.

I vaguely remember going to the zoo to watch a tiger show, where they said that the tiger could eat 10 to 20 kilograms of meat in one meal.

They've only eaten a few ducks.

Shen Xin tossed another duck over.

It bit off half of it in one bite, chewing it with feathers and meat, duck intestines mixed with duck blood flowing out from between its teeth.

Just then, Shen Xin noticed that an icon slowly appeared on its head.

Shen Xin silently thanked himself for his abilities and nodded slightly, saying, "I think it's possible."

Just staring at it like this isn't going to work.

Kuang Guorong immediately began to give instructions, first having everyone disperse to the outer perimeter, and then he drove over a special police vehicle and opened the back door.

They also threw a few ducks into the carriage.

"Have it!"

Shen Xin shouted again.

The tiger raised its head and looked at Shen Xin.

Shen Xin moved slowly, keeping close to the police car.

"here!"

This is the command Tian Haiming gives to move the tiger.

The tiger slowly followed.

In the far distance, Ding Yuwei craned her neck, staring anxiously.

Shen Xin slowly moved to the door of the SWAT vehicle.

"here."

Shen Xin shook the duck and then tossed it into the carriage.

A foul gust of wind swept by, and the tiger leaped into the car.

Shen Xin quickly closed the car door.

Hidden on the other side, Kuang Guorong immediately closed his car door.

With a click, the door locked, and he finally let out a long sigh of relief. Shen Xin's legs felt a little weak, and he leaned against the car door.

"Bro, that's awesome!"

Kuang Guorong seemed to have weak legs too, and while holding onto the car door, he gave Shen Xin a thumbs up.

The crowd then came running over from a distance.

"Damn, that scared me to death."

Zhao Tianxing ran ahead and hugged Shen Xin tightly.

Ding Yuwei, who was about to rush over, suddenly stopped and stared intently at Shen Xin.

"Are you alright, Xiao Shen?"

This is Lü Youwei.

And then there was Zhao Hongjie; almost everyone gathered around.

"It's okay!"

Shen Xin, whose legs had been weak, stood up straight and said, "I just asked them how the circus trains this tiger and what the commands are. In a moment of panic, I tried it out, and I didn't expect it to actually work."

Zhao Hongjie patted Shen Xin on the shoulder and praised him with satisfaction, saying, "Well done, Shen. You're so friendly with cats and dogs, I never thought you could be friendly with tigers too. You're amazing."

He knew, of course, that Shen Xin was close to small animals.

I never expected that even a tiger could be controlled.

Shen Xin was too embarrassed to say more, so he could only smile.

"We must ask for credit when we get back," Zhao Hongjie added.

Shen Xin nodded silently.

That's the truth.

On the other side, the duck shed owner had already opened the door, called out his wife and children, and they hugged each other and cried loudly.

He's a real man.

In that instant, Shen Xin felt that he could really rush up and fight the tiger to the death.

The crowd gathered around the SWAT vehicle to examine the tiger inside.

It ate with relish, and perhaps feeling safe in the enclosed space, it became very well-behaved. After finishing the duck, it lay down on the floor, seemingly about to take a nap.

These two injections of anesthesia should be taking effect by now.

Only then did Ding Yuwei come to Shen Xin's side.

She tugged at Shen Xin's arm.

"Are you out of your mind?" She stared intently at Shen Xin, her gaze complex.

Shen Xin, still slightly excited despite the dirt on his clothes, said, "I saw you guys were in danger, so how could I stand idly by? We're partners."

Ding Yuwei seemed to have an impulse for a moment, her mouth slightly open as if she wanted to say something, but she stopped herself and just said softly, "You can't do this next time, it's too dangerous."

Shen Xin nodded indifferently.

Anyway, the matter is resolved.

No one was hurt, and there wasn't much trouble; only a few ducks died, so it was a satisfactory outcome.

Looking back now, it's fortunate that this tiger was domesticated.

Otherwise, if he had run away for six hours, he would have already injured someone.

Just now, when he jumped out of the yard, it was quite startled.

The tiger issue has been resolved, but the case is still unsolved.

Tian Haiming is dead, but the cause of death is still uncertain.

Zhao Hongjie gave some instructions, and then made a special trip over to praise Shen Xin before leaving.

The main force withdrew.

The duck farm owner was extremely grateful and refused to accept payment for the ducks.

They didn't want anyone to compensate them for the damaged duck shed.

He's content as long as his wife and children are doing well.

After careful consideration, the tiger was returned to the circus.

Even if someone has legal documents, it's still an accident for them to escape.

However, Lu Wenxue's idea was that if the zoo wanted it, he could sell the tiger to the zoo.

With Tian Haiming dead, no one in the circus was confident they could train the tiger.

He himself wouldn't dare.

He discussed this matter with the zoo, while Shen Xin focused on the case first.

There are still doubts surrounding Tian Haiming's death.

Since there was no tiger thief and there was only one key, it was obvious that Tian Haiming released the tiger himself.

But what exactly happened? How did Tian Haiming suffer a sudden heart attack? And how did the tiger escape?

This all needs an explanation.

"Xiao Shen, do you want to go back and rest for a day?" Lu Youwei asked.

Shen Xin shook his head, indicating that he didn't need it and wanted to keep an eye on the case.

"Then be careful." Lü Youwei nodded and left with his men.

Sun Zhao and his men stayed behind.

"You're a good kid." In the car, Sun Zhao gave a thumbs up.

Not long ago, I experienced a gunfight, and now I've encountered a tiger.

How long has Shen Xincai been with the criminal investigation team? His experience is quite extensive.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival! Wishing everyone happiness and fulfillment.
