Greece: I am Zeus!

Chapter 37 Serving Others is a Kind of Wisdom!
The still somewhat immature Pallas and Perses looked at Crios with eager eyes, fearing that the silent and majestic father god would utter words of refusal.
Helios and Semene also looked at Hyperion with the same anticipation and longing as the Pallas brothers.
Both Clios and Hyperion fell silent at this moment.
They were all Titans who had experienced the world, and they knew that no matter how good the promises were now, the future was uncertain.
Back then, Cronus was also full of vigor, confident, brave, enthusiastic, and humble. But later, didn't he also start to turn against everyone and use his brothers and friends as stepping stones?
This son of Cronus appeared to have more courage and boldness than Cronus, and his magnanimity was even admired by the gods.
But precisely because of this, another concern arose in their hearts: if such a god becomes the king of gods, wouldn't everyone be even less able to fight against him in the future?
Zeus did not urge him on, nor did he offer any more rewards; He understood the principle that too much of a good thing is bad.
He simply waited quietly for Cleos and Hyperion's reply, and this composure and steadiness were all the more convincing.
For a moment, too many gods were watching them, and the vast Starry Sky Temple fell into a deathly silence, with only strange starlight twinkling in the stillness.
Crios and Hyperion exchanged another glance, and ultimately decided to support Zeus.
In this situation, one path is unknown, but at least it appears to be bright.
The old road, however, was truly bleak and a dead end.
Now we can only hope that the son of Cronus is truly a god as He has shown, consistent in word and deed, and who sees things through to the end.
Hyperion posed one last question: "Honorable Zeus, do you already have a plan to deal with the King of the Gods?"
This is what they care about most; a war without end cannot gain support.
Zeus nodded, his tone serious and firm: "We have a perfect plan, we are just waiting for the right time."
The Starry Sky Temple fell silent once again, but this silence carried a sense of relief and anticipation, as well as a firm resolve that was brewing.
After a long silence, Crios spoke slowly, his high-pitched and majestic voice echoing in the sacred and radiant starry temple.
“Honorable Son of the Queen of Gods, your generosity is worthy of God’s respect, and we are willing to obey your command.”
“But Hyperion, Theia, and I have all sworn an oath to be loyal to the God-King, and we will not take action ourselves. Please understand.”
He spoke frankly, drawing a clear line: "We will not help the King of God; we will remain neutral in this war."
“However, our children have not made any oaths to the God-King; their future is their own choice. You may use them at will if you need them.”
"I believe that they would be very willing to obey your commands, fight for your sacred cause, and win their future glory."
No sooner had Clios finished speaking than the towering and imposing Colossus Astrius strode up to Zeus, knelt on one knee, and said in a steady and firm voice: "Honorable Lord of the Future, Astrius is willing to fight for you; your will is my will!"
This seemingly most composed second-generation Titan, the eldest son of Crios, is actually the one who moves the fastest now.
Gods such as Pallas and Helios also knelt down on one knee, similarly declaring their allegiance.
The power of all the celestial gods has now gathered at Zeus's side.
Zeus solemnly declared, "I, Zeus, son of the holy Rhea, assure the gods that I will drink the Nectuar with them and share in the glory of the world with them."
"I will never keep the supreme honor of the universe to myself!" Zeus's voice resounded through the starry sky as he made a sacred vow.
The Titans, including Clios, rose and bowed to Zeus in respect. Zeus smiled and said, "Please sit down, gods. I will now build a mountain higher than Mount Otyrus."
"Now, that will be the place where I face off against the God-King. In the future, that will be the place where I feast and drink with the gods, sharing glory!"
After Zeus left, only the three gods remained. Pontus' son Taumas stayed temporarily with his sister Eurybia.
Pontos would never dare to participate in this terrible war, even if he could not gain much in the future. Stability was the most important thing, and preserving himself was his primary goal.
His relationship with the pantheon was ultimately too distant; he could only choose to protect himself and remain as neutral as possible.
The wise Metis finally spoke, her tone tinged with complexity: "You're really willing to do this. If you divide power like this, how much control will you have left when you become the God-King?"
Zeus smiled, but instead of returning to the topic, he changed the subject and asked, "Mother Goddess, which mountain do you think would be the best choice for our future dwelling?"
Rhea pondered for a moment, then smiled and replied, "This matter should be decided by the future God-King; it is your honor and responsibility."
Zeus laughed heartily and said in a deep voice, "Good!"
"Then let's set it at Mount Olympus!"
With mixed feelings, Metis's eyes narrowed, and he said, "Mount Olympus is nothing special, not majestic enough, and it's too close to Mount Olympus. Should we reconsider?"
Zeus laughed heartily, his laughter extremely cheerful and unrestrained: "What we want is to be close to the King of the Gods. If we are close to Him but cannot suppress Him, then the throne of the King of the Gods should be occupied by a god!"
"As for whether it is majestic or not, that is not important. It is just a mountain. Inanimate objects are always honored because of the gods."
"The place where the God-King is is the true sacred mountain."
Metis, captivated, looked at Zeus, said nothing more, and nodded gently.
She is merely wise, not a god-king embodying courage, confidence, boldness, and ambition.
Rhea nodded repeatedly. As the Queen of Gods, she understood best that for the God-King, all glory existed because of him, not the other way around.
Zeus said to Rhea, “Mother Goddess, please lead Hestia and the others to Mount Olympus.”
"Metis and I will first go to Mount Olympus to select a location. We are about to face the first great battle."
Rhea nodded emphatically, her colorful, flowing hair dancing with her movements, and then set off to summon Hestia and the others.
The holy Mother Goddess now truly possesses a bright future and hope.
Zeus looked at Metis, raised an eyebrow, and smiled, "My dear bright-eyed Metis, let's go see our future home together."
Shy Metis's heart skipped a beat. Not daring to look at Zeus, she turned and ran into the world. A sweet breeze rippled across her heart, bringing her sweetness as well.
The goddess of wisdom is looking forward to her future new home.
