Greece: I am Zeus!

Chapter 27 For Whom the Bell Tolls

Chapter 27 For Whom the Bell Tolls

The fourth to be separated was Hera the White-Armed, who was responsible for reproduction and childbirth.

The beautiful Hera, with bright eyes and wearing golden boots.

Her pure and flawless body radiated maternal glow and warmth, and her dignified and serene face was immaculate.

The fifth is Demeter, the great mother goddess of agriculture and harvest, gentle and compassionate.

Her scent carried the fragrance of the earth, and her reappearance brought joy to the entire land, instantly transforming it into a bountiful and prosperous place.

Up to the sixth, Hestia, the source of fire, a beautiful and warm goddess, and a symbol of eternal life and civilization.

From then on, the gods who had been conceived and devoured were once again divided under Zeus's power of division.

They were reborn, awakened from the nightmare, regained themselves, and embraced the light anew.

After all this commotion, Hestia became the youngest of the elders, while Zeus became the oldest of the young.

It was as if the curse of the youngest son overthrowing the God-King had been ended in that very moment.

Fate had already arranged everything.

All the laws that had been devoured by Cronus were re-exposed, and nearly half of the power and divine strength that He had painstakingly accumulated over countless years was also taken away by the five gods!

This is not just a case of years of planning being ruined in an instant, but a huge loss.

He was already in his weakest state, and only a god-king who was being ruthlessly weakened could be defeated.

Zeus seized the only opportunity with precision.

It's even simpler than I imagined.

The King of Gods and His Father Uranus are truly of the same lineage.

Even the arrogance of the God-King was learned perfectly.

The arrogant god-king was truly unprepared.

However, even though the God-King was already in such a terrible state, it wasn't over yet.

Zeus continued his attack without any mercy, even separating the "harvesting" authority that was connected to his own origin and merging it into himself.

Even the God-King's crumbling courage was stripped away and absorbed.

Unfortunately, the attempt to manipulate the most important laws of creation was unsuccessful, and that moment had already passed.

Zeus decisively stopped and shouted, "Go!"

His voice, like thunder, resounded throughout the temple, carrying an unquestionable command that echoed in the ears of the reborn gods.

His current state is less than a third of his full strength. The gods have just been "born" again and have not yet fully mastered their power. Now is not the time to take action.

The gods, having just regained consciousness, did not hesitate and immediately followed Zeus in fleeing Mount Otyrus.

Although they were devoured, it does not mean that they were ignorant.

The Law Gods are beings born with knowledge, and their spirituality has not been diminished; they are already able to understand the world during their gestation process.

Moreover, being inside the God-King's body, they could see and perceive far more than that.

All the gods were acutely aware of the God-King's power; if they didn't leave, it would be too late!

Even the god-king Cronus, now weakened to the extreme, is not someone they can easily defeat in their current state. After all, they are at their weakest, their newly restored bodies have not yet fully adapted, and their power is far from its peak.

Even the five gods who were just separated are now at the best time to be devoured back by the God King.

Now that the objective has been successfully achieved, we must not create any further complications, for heaven knows what the enraged god-king will be like.

Sure enough, as soon as the gods flew out of the divine palace, they heard a deafening roar that sounded like a mountain collapsing and a tsunami crashing.

That was the roar of the God-King, which shook every corner of the universe. In an instant, countless mortals were burned to ashes by the God-King's wrath and turned into nothingness.

Zeus flew to the top of Mount Otyrus and cried out, "Mother Goddess, come!"

Rhea, who was already prepared, followed without hesitation.

The deed was done, and she could no longer hide it. She no longer needed to endure humiliation; staying in the Ottoman Mountains would be too dangerous.

Zeus would not allow her to bear Cronus's wrath alone; that was not something Rhea could endure.

Zeus's lips curled into a chilling smirk, a hint of pleasure in his smile. Only now had the immense pressure on his head dissipated considerably.

The most important step has been accomplished, but the matter is not over yet. Before leaving, He will do another earth-shattering thing.

Without hesitation, He used His indestructible divine body to crash into the highest peak of Mount Otyrus with incredible force, at a speed exceeding the speed of ordinary light and tearing through space.

That was not a simple collision, but a clash between laws and will.

The majestic and imposing Mount Otyrus, the sacred mountain representing the majesty of the god-king, collapsed with a thunderous blow from Zeus!

The enormous mountain collapsed, as if the entire solar system was exploding. Debris fell like countless stars, and the dust it kicked up obscured the entire world!
The earth trembled violently, groaning in pain as if it were being torn apart.

A terrifying roar echoed throughout the world, reverberating in every corner.

It was as if the death knell of the corrupt order had been tolled, and a lament for the end of the old era had been played.

That was the death knell tolling for the King of Gods.

Before Zeus left, he smashed the mountain that symbolized the infinite authority of the god-king and represented the center of the cosmic order!
This is not merely physical destruction, but a complete disregard and humiliation of Cronus's supreme status! It is the most thorough blow and injury!

Cronus, still struggling with anger and disbelief, had no time to react. He watched helplessly as the symbol of his authority collapsed and turned into ruins.

Even so, the God-King's thoughts were still immersed in deep anger and disbelief. The shock was like a sharp blade, piercing deep into His heart, making Him unable to accept what was happening before His eyes.

His authority as the King of Gods possesses so many powerful laws, including creation, agriculture, growth, harvest, abundance, fertility, flourishing, courage, fertility, reproduction, fire, the sea, darkness, and shadow. This is the supreme power that completely governs the universe.

But in that instant, most of those laws were lost, and in that instant, it was reduced to its original form! Its power was drastically reduced, and its majesty was gone!

Furthermore, He lost nearly half of the divine power He had accumulated over countless years! The loss of power made Him feel weak and empty like never before.

This terrible loss was completely unacceptable to Krolos.

He painfully doubted whether he was still in a drunken stupor, whether he was too drunk this time, and whether it was all just an absurd illusion born of drunkenness.

Not content with simply crushing Mount Otyrus, Zeus also mercilessly threw Philyra, the "filial daughter" who dared to challenge the authority of the queen of the gods, who was hiding on one of the peaks of Mount Otyrus, beneath the slowly collapsing mountain.
